There was a lot of cheese in it, which eradicated any taste of the spinach, mushrooms or tomatoes. All you tasted was cheese. Thus a suggestion: offer three choices Light, medium or heavy. Or light or medium, the point here is if you include veggie flavors let me taste them. Comes with a marinara Another reason for napkins. I paid a visit here for the very first here last month and I enjoyed it. I was surprised on how close it was to the ASU Tempe campus. The portions are very filling. They have lots of options to pick from. The place is very cool, very college theme. The guy who took my order was very polite and patient with me since I never been there before. Kind of teetering between a 3 & 4. Really, this is more of an appeal for college kids & 4am drunk/hangover food. There is a very good variety & lots of options, including vegetarian, which is a plus. But, it wasn't the most appetizing & on the heavy side being a total carb overload no matter what you choose. I chose the Oh!Zone, cheese tots & chocolate chip cookie. The cheese tots were not good. At least, not as a delivery option. Cheese was crusted solid by the time it arrived & reheating didn't do much but create more grease. Decent flavor & probably much better fresh, on site. But, the portion size was also pretty small for the price. Not worth it. The Oh!Zone was exactly what I would have wanted in a normal cheesesteak sandwich, just calzone style. It was very good, customizable & the ingredient portions were solid. But, it didn't fill the entire pocket. The sides were just really thick dough with 0 flavor. So, if you look at how much was actually edible, it was 3/4 after discarding the plain crust. Good flavor, besides the bland crust. Again, price is a bit steep for what this consisted of. The chocolate chip cookie WOULD have been good- had it not been overcooked & seeping grease through the paper onto my counter. At that- it was inedible. A crisp, hard & slightly burnt cookie that really did have so much grease it was pooling. While the size was HUGE, it means they need to learn how to adjust the time or temp in baking because this isn't right. Decent price, but poor product. Would I order again? Probably not. I don't eat things like this all too often & it literally is something I'd order if I was up super LATE with a specific craving. This is a great option for college kids or a late night/hangover remedy. Otherwise I wouldn't be seeking it for an actual meal. read more

I have a few issues here. The woman who was taking orders at the register used the same gloves to work with the register, slide the orders on the screen and still used those same gloves to make calzones. Never changing her gloves, so unsanitary. Then, another worker came in the door and just started taking order on the same register and sliding the order screen and getting the orders ready for customers but never washed his hands (from coming in from outside) or never put on any gloves. There needs to be a sanitary standard when dealing with food for customers. Also, the vegan calzone should be allowed to cook awhile longer as the veggies were still uncooked, and the calzone itself had no flavor. Hope you guys can fix the sanitary issues. read more

Barbecue boneless chicken gets 10 stars alone, and had us there about 4 nights in a row!! Met Jake who worked at this location and he is a really great guy to talk to and listen to his philosophy on food. He is a chef and has an amazing story! One of the things I like about him is that he believes in putting his intention into his food and everything that he does. You can taste this intention and I promise you, this is a place that you will visit on repeat. They are open super late and have top quality food when most restaurants are closed. Noticed all the vegan options here and had to try! Used to come here and loved the Sun Devil calzone, now there's a vegan one so I had to try it. Not gonna lie, I am not a fan of vegan cheese so I still did regular mozz! The vegan pepperoni reminded me of the treats I give my dog, so upon each bite where I noticed them I just picked them out. The vegan sausage is pretty good! The dough was delicious and fresh and the dipping marinara is always my favorite part since I like things SAUCY! Staff is super nice here, I think one guy was training on the register because it took a little bit longer but I am all for giving everyone a fair chance to pick it up! The food and service at this place are unmatched. I ordered a late-night cheese stix, which are fantastic with the sauces they offer for it. I got it on DoorDash and when the order took an hour already, I finally called DP and the man in the phone was so sweet and stressed, saying that my order had already been stolen once but he was making it again for me ASAP. For our entrées we tried the vegan Combat Zone, Vegan Sun Devil Zone, Vegan Buff Chick Zone and the Vegan Tangy Chicken Zone(sub chicken for beyond beef trust me it is good )! This place is open late which is the reason I came in but it was a huge regret because the food quality is so bad. My boneless wings were 50% breading and they were soggy, the calzone was undercooked and lacked flavor. The final straw was the cashier calling us a liar when we told him we didn't order pesto bread, which he insisted we did and the pesto bread was also gross and greasy. What is there to say besides D.P dough is an institution, I would say this place is akin to a sirens call but that would mean there's a downside. From the exterior this place is blasting some of the greatest hits of the ratpack, which is the first sign that you're in for a treat, next up is the menu so many choices all of which sound delicious, the staff super chill and friendly and lastly the food it's heavenly borderline orgasmic and actually pretty cheap for how much you get, I don't know if my guy was hooking me up but they didn't charge me for a side of ranch so major props there. i'm not really ever one to complain or even post reviews in general, but this one made me pretty ticked off. a few days ago i came here to eat and they didn't even have half of the menu, apparently something to do with drama with the previous manager not handing over recipes? so anyways, this new manager guy is talking my ear off about how great and awesome of a manager he is and how he is making so much money for the company apparently. food was mediocre and not as good as i remember it being when i came here a few years ago. then tonight i came back to eat here again because i'm staying in the area and it's the only thing open late that offers vegan options. this is the thing that pissed me off, and maybe it's just me, but as you can see, comparing my receipt to their menu, they are charging a dollar more than what they're advertising, as if their food (ESPECIALLY the vegan options) aren't WAY overpriced already. when you order, the guy just tells you your total and there is no screen for you to double check the prices before paying or anything, so they are totally doing this on purpose. makes sense now how this new manager is making the company "sooo much more money" apparently. HE IS CHARGING MORE THAN WHAT THE PRICES ARE BEING ADVERTISED AS. and also, no, i did not order anything extra or on the side or anything to have made the price go up. this is ridiculous. even moreso that the menu screens are DIGITAL, not something printed permanently, so i'm sure it would be an easy fix to display the ACTUAL prices of these items, but i'm sure they wouldn't want to do that seeing as everything is already way overpriced anyways. i've been vegan for 7 years now and this was the most bland, unseasoned vegan food i've ever had - and also some of the most expensive, especially considering the size of the calzone. read more
