We stopped at the Fire Tower for lunch and really enjoyed it. I had the Cheeseburger special served with fries and soup (French onion). My girlfriend had the flatbread. The burger was cooked perfectly and the soup was perfect on a cold day. We sat at the bar high tops but they also had a dining room area and an outside dining area with heated fireplaces. The restaurant was very nice and the service was good.

[1159] 12/2020 We were staying at the nearby ski resort so we wanted to try this place out. We were not disappointed. They did a great job with the Covid precautions. The staff was very friendly and helpful The food was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Watermelon sugar high - A pink cocktail with ice cubes is presented in a clear glass, garnished with fresh mint leaves. The drink is placed on a wooden table in a restaurant setting, with blurred background elements including a jar and other tableware.

We went back and had a fantastic experience with amazing service, good drinks, and good food. It was super cozy inside, and packed! I highly recommend the chicken breast.

A rectangular black plate contains a variety of appetizers, including bread slices, garnished with microgreens, and other small food items topped with mustard seeds and sauces. A knife with a black handle rests across the plate, and the plate is set on a wooden table. The presentation includes colorful garnishes and textured food items.

Scott made the whole dinner experience so quick and easy, everything that we ordered was delicious! Highly recommend the "Baked Brie" (Filo Wrapped with Assorted Crackers, Cranberry Jalapeño Jam, Pickled Onion & Mustard Seed, Sundried Figs) it was gone in a hot minute! We tried to share it between 2 of us and before we started , everything was finished! Super delicious especially for cheese lovers, you will not go wrong with ordering this to start!!! If you're looking for something on the light sweet side, the "Roses Are Free" (Ketel One Infused Vodka With Grapefruit & Rose, St Germain, Grapefruit Juice, Cranberry Juice, Champagne, Garnished With Dehydrated Grapefruit) cocktail is refreshing (but next time will ask for less ice)! COVID Safety: social distancing is in effect (you're seated at every other table), masks are required, reservations are required (I recommend in advance as possible due to limited capacity/ seating throughout the restaurant) call ahead to make sure, hand sanitizers are also provided

Cheeseburger - A cheeseburger features a beef patty topped with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato slices, red onion rings, and pickles, all inside a bun with a toasted top. The meal includes a side of French fries and is presented on a metal tray lined with parchment paper. The tray is placed on a wooden surface, and the burger appears freshly prepared.

Trash service. Will never go back. Bartender was rude and so was the hostess. Burger was over cooked and fries was stale.

This place is right at the bottom of the ski resort in the village so it's convenient but the food isn't worth the price.

Consistency like this is rare, and it says everything about the standards they keep. I started with the Pomegranate Granita Oysters, and wow. Bright, refreshing, unbelievably fresh, and balanced perfectly. They were the kind of oysters you slow down for because you don't want the bite to end. I ordered the duck ragu again because I couldn't stop thinking about it from my last visit -- and once again, absolute perfection. Rich, comforting, layered with flavor, and yes... I cleaned the plate spotless. Not a drop left behind. From the hospitality to the execution of every dish, everything about this restaurant screams class, quality, and a superb dining experience. The team makes you feel welcome, the food exceeds expectations, and you leave already planning your next reservation. Manchester is lucky to have a place like this.

My friend had the Bucatini Cacio E Pepe. He said his dish was fine. Mine, on the other hand, was pasta coated in this thick orange paste (no sauce), which was absolutely tasteless (no exaggeration). It's as if they didn't even taste it for seasonings. I asked for salt. They offered to remake it, but I opted to try to make it edible adding my own seasoning. With quite a bit of salt, it was "ok", but the consistency left a lot to be desired. I probably should have sent it back and ordered a salad. A restaurant is only as good as it's food. Two stars is the best I could give them. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was good. But the food...

But the first table we were offered was right in the bar, next to the entry we had just come in from the rainy night outside. The table was noisy, drafty and unacceptable. Fortunately one of our party said something and sure enough, there was a very nice corner table in a nice dining room in the back part of the house, away from the bar. Barrow House is a nice, fairly upscale, American menu. The tables were just far enough apart so we could hear one another without shouting. Barrow House is part of a collection of inns and restaurants in Dorset. It's sister establishment, the Dorset Inn, is just a hundred or so yards away at the town crossroads. I'd eaten at the Dorset Inn, but years earlier and have never been to the Barrow House. The menu was a pleasant collection of interesting choices in ample portions. We ordered the fig pizza for the table. I had some very fine oysters; some chowder was enjoyed, and we were intrigued and came thisclose to having the tuna nachos. Maybe next time. Wine by the glass and two Green State lagers, which for my order of the wagyu beef burger, that came with plenty of fries, enough to share with the table, was perfect. All in all, a pleasant and delicious meal was had by all. It's a fine gastropub, as it is called. You can sit in the bar and watch sports (something I would never EVER do, but chacona son gout!) Or you can have a fun table with friends in the dining room. The service was professional and gracious. From where we live, it's a reasonable drive. Probably one of the, if not the best places to eat within that radius. And we would eat there again. [It was good enough that no pix taken]

For breakfast we enjoyed a bagel with lox, the breakfast sandwich and the eggs Benedict which we would order all again (in fact we did haha). What made the experience that much better was our waitress Kate. We requested to have her a second night because of how fun, helpful and accommodating she was to us. On Valentine's Day a few things that could have put a damper on our evening were handled very professionally and we really appreciated it. For dinner, I ordered the Garganelli pasta dish. It was light and creamy. And ended the meal with one of their dessert specials that had white chocolate raspberry ice cream with strawberries - it was delightful. The restaurant itself was pretty cozy. Lots of high top and standard table seating along with a bar. They offered outdoor seating on the porch as well. There was also a fire pit set up outside with plenty of Adirondack chairs - I saw people drinking by the fire but I'm not sure if food is served in that area. Our server, Molly, was awesome!!
