The kale salad was the star!!! Can't believe it!
    Vincent P.

Ok well it's pandemic times to start.... The only thing that is affecting on this place is having a large, fun, bar like feel. That's ok though because the wonderful servers, def. including Dawn, delicious food and good drinks make up for it!!! So this is one of the many great places to stop in Stratton Mountain town to eat, right when you come down, I mean it doesn't get much more convenient then that!!! Stop in here today and ordered up a BLT Sandwhich and to try and be a little healthy I got the kale salad with quinoa on the side.... I never eat kale.... So the food comes out and I see a heaping serving of green, fresh as could be kale....I'm not a kale person, I do not ever eat kale by Choice other than blended in a shake.... WELLL...... That has changed!!! The side salad was utterly delicious and not really soaked in a dressing or anything. I could've had the largest bowl of this stuff ever!!!!! The BLT alwayssssss hits the spot it's so banging!!! Sourdough bread, generous mayonnaise, the maple bacon is thick and well cooked and always fresh avocado and tomato. Simple but done perfectly!!!! Always a spot I break for lunch when I'm at Stratton. Give it a try it won't disappoint!!!

Great pub to come get warm after a day of skiing. It's loud but it's friendly and we'll, warm. They usually have a band too and they're quite good. The place is so busy that you better come in off hours for food. The service is always efficient and friendly. They have a great selection of pub fare, ranging from nachos to burgers to chili and a very good selection of beers.

I love the new renovation. Much more table space, but still crazy crowded on a weekend ski day. Beer, good. Hot toddy, good. Fries, good. They even have healthy choices. You can't go wrong here if you need to kick back and take off your ski boots.

Cold day on the mountain this place was just packed with people having a some drinks to stay warm. There was a wait for the tables and the food looked good. Nice size portions of nachos and i saw leftovers on all the tables. Either they weren't that good or people just don't know how to finish a meal. But I am just here to get some liquid warmth. I had to wait 5 min at the bar to get a drink. Lots of the basic domestic beers on tap along with a couple Long trails. 6 dollar pints and they do sell tall boys of PBR. I think there was tax on my beer..?

It looked pretty but tasted average. The brussel sprouts were just fried, no flavor, no balsamic, nothing. Bland ! The green beans were drowned in garlic which saved them. Espresso martinis were good. The yellow fin tuna appetizer was decent and the crispy rice it was served on was tasty. Still on the bland side.. more rice than tuna. We ordered a winter salad to go and it was literally such a joke of a salad, especially for the price. A handful of mixed greens, two tiny slivers of squash, a sprinkle of red onion, disgusting dressing, and a quarter sized amount of cranberries. Little 2oz cup of goat cheese (which was the best part). Absolutely laughable. We ordered the tartufo flatbread and again, just bland. Didn't taste any truffle and it just wasn't great. The best thing I had by far was the brownie with icecream. Definitely the best part of the gigantic meal we had.

Everything in the village was closed, nothing else around and door dash type deliveries not available. Unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. We had a friendly but non attentive server who didn't even mention specials to us, which we only found out midway through our meal when a neighboring table received lobster ravioli which was definitely not on the menu. The menu was odd, with it mostly being pasta dishes and a handful of other options. I noticed there weren't any gluten free options except maybe one thing, in case that's of use to anyone requiring a GF diet. The food was average at best and wildly overpriced for what it was. It lacked atmosphere and felt like a standard ski lodge where you leave your gear for the day, and in no way attempted to resemble a more up scale dining experience. The only positive for us was that it was open when everything else was shut down.

Matter of fact I was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures of my meal! Service was great. Very accommodating staff. As far as noise levels it was pretty calm. Few people here and there dining and enjoying their meals. They also have a nice fireplace which is super cool! Keeps the spot nice and cozy. So there you have it folks. Nice spot in the mountain area to grab a nice meal. Have a great one ya'll! -Ray

I had the daily special Chicken Enchiladas soup, and it was fantastic. It was kind of like a chicken corn chowder, deep chicken broth flavor, and lots of tasty corn. The chicken breast was clearly fresh, and the avocado and tomato's were at the perfect ripeness. My son had the chicken parm, and it was also great. Their homemade marinara was delicious, and the chicken parm was really good. I liked the breading as it was nice and crunchy. Also, the service is impressive. Consistency like this is rare, and it says everything about the standards they keep. I started with the Pomegranate Granita Oysters, and wow. It's very new agey and different for the sake of being different. But, the pasta was delicious and high quality! The place has a major attitude problem, though. The aesthetics are off-putting and attract a crowd of the worst types of people. Had to listen to nothing but whiny spite and anger my entire meal from multiple groups of guests. The waiter was the worst aspect, though. I didn't even know he worked there when he approached me. He was dressed down more than a lot of homeless people I've seen. He also shared that same attitude of the guests and made my business feel like an inconvenience the entire time, having the nerve to expect a tip for bringing my food out to me, which I would have just done myself to avoid him.
