So here's an interesting fact. Is anyone aware that FedEx is using AI as their customer service Representatives and that they do not want us to know and if they have let us know I was completely unaware of it and I was getting extremely mad and frustrated with the level of service I was receiving and I'm still receiving because they did not deliver a package that has notarized signatures many of them which cost $15 for each signature and because I had it mobile notarized service done it was a $40 delivery fee so we're looking upwards of $150 of signatures worth yet my package is valued at nothing it has no value whatsoever and it is stuck in the Pleasanton Warehouse and it's been there for over a week and a half when I paid to have it overnighted they will not resolve the situation they will not give me customer service representative ID numbers so that I can identify them and speak to someone who is a human because this whole time I thought it was a human I have been making a fool of myself I have been spinning my wheels and if you ask me that's abuse on the part of FedEx's side you don't send a robot to deal with customers because they don't know what I feel like and they can't help me all they can do is repeat the information back to me which they are not receiving correctly by the way the one I seem to be speaking with has a glitch her name is Karen Kim Casey and something else and she sounds the same she has the same voice every single time I talk to her she sounds fairly human until you go back and listen to the recorded conversation I did on my end because I am fed up with this service they want to charge me to have it shipped back to me so I have to have an account with my credit card number on there to charge me for any fees in order for it to be shipped back to my house return to sender I have no idea what FedEx is thinking or who's running that company but I will get to the bottom of it and if this letter doesn't make it there in time it will have cost a pension that needed to be in on time which I used overnight service and had a week to spare and yet here I am a week and a half later being told that in 24 hours it will be shipped back to me so that I could personally take it in to the office where it needs to go I'm using text to speech. It's funny how they can record our voice without putting the proper punctuation in for us as we're speaking they can't do that but they can have a robot answer their phones and deal with customers who have real human issues that I'm sorry a robot just doesn't have those issues yet maybe when they establish their life here and they make homes and they have kids and they become skynet and take over the world they might have to deal with humans being their customer service Representatives when we get there we'll turn that leaf but until then they don't know how to solve human error or even their own errors in a correct fashion this is this is a lawsuit if you ask me this is something that I will pursue Justice in because I wanted my mail which I should have used the USPS I'll never go back I'll never use UPS either ever after this it's only going to be the post office from now on but if I can get a lawyer for this I will I will get my money back for the delivery which I'm told I can't by AI and I will make sure that if I don't get this pension that they will have to reimburse that pension I will take this to the top unless they're all AIS too then I'm just going to have to hire me and Arnold Schwarzenegger determinate skynet read more

I was subjected to visiting this place after a notice was left on our door that my package was attempted, but no one was home. Which was not true because there were a few people home ALL DAY. I walked in 30 mins before closing the same day I received my door tag, and there were already 10 unhappy people there waiting. I was second in line and no one was at the counter so we both waited. About 10 mins later, a woman emerged from the back and when the person in line in front of me walked up to the counter, the woman on staff, clearly frustrated, put her hand up and told the customer to stand back and back up because she needs space. Rude! She finally summoned the customer to come back to the counter and give her the door tag but told me to wait, I was the only person in line at the time. I had to stay in line for another 20+ mins while she disappeared and in that time, 10 more people lined up behind me and not person waiting had their package given to them. A man told me he had been there for 1.5 hours already and his package had not been found. Every now and then, another woman would poke her head out the back and say sorry for the wait and that she was off duty now so she really had to go and give the slip to someone else to resolve (yet she remained there for the next hour doing this). When the original woman at the counter came back out, she started working on some envelopes at the counter. She didn't acknowledge me or the 10+ ppl in line behind me. I asked her if I could give my door tag to her, she said no she was instructed to stop taking in door tags because she needs to stay up front and man the counter, so she can't help me. So I asked who was going to help those of us in line, she said someone will eventually come out just as someone did earlier, why didn't I ask them instead? HONESTLY?! RUDE! Finally, a man came out and asked who has not been helped, which was over 10 of us at that point, and he questioned the woman at the counter and asked why we had not been helped. She said she was told not to take in door tags and he told her she is supposed to! This exchange happened in front of all of the 20+ customers. She was so frustrated at that point, when she found someones package, she gave it to them, asked for ID, and when they were taking a bit of time to get their ID, she said "you know what, I don't even care, just take it" and handed the package off to them. Another woman approached the counter and asked if a package behind the counter was hers because the tape on the package had the name of the company shipping it, the woman checked and yes it was hers. She waited over an hour and the package was just sitting there behind the counter the whole time. I ended up waiting an hour for the whole process which was relatively good considering the man who had been there for 1.5 hours ended up waiting for over 2 hours. He even asked to speak to a manager, but they said there wasn't one. How can that be? And 1 hour is NOT an acceptable amount of time to spend here. Most of my time waiting was spent waiting for her to even register and take my door tag -- meaning NOTHING is happening in the time I am waiting! I know the people in the back are hustling so that is definitely appreciated, but the woman at the front counter was seriously a hot mess, rude and unprofessional! This place really needs to train their staff on customer service and efficiency. As it was approaching the holidays, they should really consider staffing up during this time. read more

Second time they've been the person to deliver something to my apartment and the second time I've been home and get a message saying "failed attempt to deliver", after getting no phone call from them or the front office. Corporations rot from the top-down, so a local FedEx office is dealt a bad hand when corporate policy is to have AI hang up on callers when they request customer service (yes, that is a true statement). And I do not know who is responsible for the truck loading that leads to what packages get dropped off when on a route. I do know that this particular shipping center which is responsible for my route is slow, careless, damages items and takes no pride in their work. Because of COVID, FedEx is not honoring their Priority Overnight guarantee that a package will arrive by the stated time (for us, noon). Often that's just for a trinket or a present or a standard good, which is frustrating for people who paid top dollar so FedEx can maximize their route delivery and drivers have no impetus to meet deadlines as there are no consequences. In some cases like ours the good in question is shipped priority because it requires particular care quickly...missing the window renders the item unusable. This is not a life or death situation, just money flushed down the toilet. I can only imagine someone waiting for medicine or a life necessity, watching on their app the FedEx truck circle their home three, four, five times, staying at locations for an hour on end, the inconvenience of waiting an entire day for a package that was promised in the morning to remain in transit meaningless because the item is needed immediately for health or well-being. FedEx has some abhorrent customer service practices, and merchants who utilize them rather than any other option are emboldening the blatant disregard FedEx has for its customers. I would go so far as to change shopping practices for stores that ship via FedEx. read more

Hit here in evening rush hour. Line was what I think a bit long but service was excellent. They divided up the quicky drop offs, pick ups, and then us longer service ones effectively to let people get out fast. I had to mail out 3 visa applications and was kind of stressed as it was a bit of a crazy process (Indian government issued visas). The lady at the counter was super friendly and super helpful. I was able to get my applications out quickly and effectively. Very efficient operation. I would expect no less from such a great brand as FedEx and this location delivers! It was good to know you can get overnight out up until close for the West Coast and until about 5:30pm for the East Coast - totally comes in handy! read more

FedEx Pleasanton didn't help to track the package that I dropped off with them and the package was never delivered! In their "research " they inform me that my package is at the Oakland center and they have no idea why the package wasn't delivered to it's intended location. The staff at FedEx Pkeasanton told me that I need to call to find out why my package wasn't delivered. They give me the 1800 463 3339 number to file a trace on my order. When I called the number I spoke with a representative named Diego who was extremely rude and uncaring! I will not ever use this FedEx location again. read more

My item arrived at the center on Nov 1st per tracking. Fedex made no attempt to deliver the item although the promise is Nov 2nd. I still haven't received it yet even today is Nov 6th. Came into this place at around 9:15am to ship a package out. I was 3rd in line, and I didn't leave the store until 9:35. When I left, there was about 6 others waiting in line as well. The reason was because there was only one person working the register. The lady working there was nice and courteous though, and she did apologize for the wait, which is why I gave 2 stars. FedEx is the only place to do shipping. They care about your packages. They are friendly and accommodating. When I had to shop my sons his military issue body armour they did it for free! They said it's the least we can do. The armour was shipped and was received 2 days later. I'm grateful for fedex and bless the service men and women who keep our freedom safe. read more

I sent an international package (RU) last week and the attendant did not tell me that items could not be mailed to individuals, only to businesses/organizations. This item cost me $197 to ship. This regulation has been in effect since 2014 and I'm sure that the person helping me had that information up on her computer screen. My package is now being returned to me. I sympathize with anyone who's had bad experiences with their packages but reviewing a place on their customer service when they are just a shipping/delivery hub isn't going to do anything. I would give them zero stars if possible. They want you to leave an expensive item on your doorstep for a 12 hour pickup window without even leaving documentation that it was picked up. Because it is an item being returned to a store with a return shipping label, they won't let you drop it off in the store so you can receive some sort of documentation that the product is out of your hands. That would require a different shipping label that would cost the customer extra money . I left the item on my doorstep yesterday when it was supposed to be picked up and never was. My husband called today and apparently they picked the item off the porch . But without some form of documentation, who is response if the item never reaches it's destination ...me. I had a terrible experience here. Service was very bad. I waited in line for 15+ minutes to drop off a package and get a receipt. I overheard the shipping guy asking someone if he can get extra help for the shipping line, but none of the employees even pretended to hear him. The layout of the lines for shipping and copy services is not clear, there were people waiting in the wrong lines. Worst delivery service ever! I'm a mom of a newborn with a toddler and had a package sent and I never got it. They said 3 attempts were made but my lobby buzzer is connected to my cell phone and nobody called to get in. In addition, no door tag was left on the lobby door either. When I called the representative said they would open a case to try and get it delivered again but it got refused. I called two days later and the guy told me they can do nothing except ship the package to a walgreens where I would have to drag my newborn and other child with me. It is unfair that I pay for shipping and no attempts are made, no door tag, no call, nothing. Now if I want that package I paid shipping for I have to go out of my way to pick up. Terrible! The FedEx, er FedUp, computer system is blah and service was made bearable by John who came to the rescue of the counter staff. We have a care package for my sick sister-in-law in North Carolina. We rushed to buy her all the things she needed for the rehab center. We got in before 5 pm and were told that the last pick up was at 5:30. To make the long story short their system declined 1 B of A Debit Card, 1 B of A Credit Card and 2 Credit Union Debit Card. Upon online checking of these accounts all the transactions were processing. The sad part - the staff they have there was a newbie who was not properly trained in customer service. He did not know what to do and he cannot even help ship the box and bill us later. All these in over an hour of wasted Saturday afternoon!!! Terrible service and experience. I finally have had enough of their lying drivers with lousy attitudes and work ethics. I live at the end of a 7 mile dead end road. My driveway is another 1/4 mile to my house. Somehow, to my local Fedex drivers, this means that they don't have to come to my house just because someone paid to have a package shipped there. If I get a delivery at all, it is dropped off in the dirt under my mailbox, 1,000 feet from my house. If a signature is required, they do not bother to come to the house to get it. Just because I don't happen to be hanging out at my mailbox when they arrive they just leave a Door Tag on the mailbox telling me I wasn't home (I was!) and now I have to drive to the Pleasanton, CA distribution hub 20 miles away. That's on a good day. For the last two days the driver just leaves a Door Tag on the mailbox even though I am home and takes the package back to Pleasanton. Or like last night, I waited at the beginning of my driveway for two hours after the package was put back on the truck for delivery and the driver never even came down the road. I finally went home and checked the tracking number and the driver had entered in the false information that he attempted delivery but I was not home. It was a flat out bold faced lie because he never even got to the beginning of my driveway, let alone the mailbox or God forbid. my actual house. I will never ever use Fedex again. It's one thing to make a mistake, that can be forgiven. It is not acceptable to not do the job you are paid for and then lie about it. read more
