My fiancé and I found this little joint while killing time before our next venue (we were looking for wedding venues). As soon as we came inside we were immediately greeted. The ladies were very friendly and took our orders right away. I had the French toast and it was very delicious. My fiancé had the pork chops with eggs and hash browns. We have gone there for years to eat and it was good. But since the owners are hardly ever there now as they are in Orange County, the place to us has gone down hill. We ordered two hamburgers, one being a combo. we asked for med rare. The cook cooked the H out if and the meat patty's so thin. Not appetizing at all and the rolls with seeds were tough and stale. Staff did not seem to care. They have raised their prices and are just not worth it. After many years of going there we are so done. Do yourself a favor and go to Rainbow Oaks Cafe. Best food ever and cheaper. I'd give it a ZERO star if there was one. My husband as well. read more

I haven't been to Fallbrook Cafe in quite some time service was always really bad when it was just my mom and I it seems like the waitresses are more interested in helping the men they are women at the table I had to get up and go get my own sugar and ketchup they gave you their food and walked off and never came back and checked on you again I wouldn't go back I don't care how good the food is the service is lousy read more

Everytime we're at Fallbrook we always have breakfast at the fallbrook cafe. We always order chocolate chip pancakes, omellette and a side of their burger patty. We usually almost always get a side of patty when we have breakfast and this place always cooks it right. We love our patties medium rare and most places get it wrong. On top of that the meat's just really juicy! Definitely one thing to look forward to when at Fallbrook. read more

This cafe has a nice private room in the corner that houses about 8 people. It was a pleasant experience dining here. The waitresses were very attentive (asked if we wanted a coffee refill at least 3 times!) and let each person have his/her own check. Great service and food! :) read more

I love the diner feel of this place, the counter service and booths are great. I will admit, I have had three things here. The burger was so-so, not what you'd expect from a diner, and I am very disappointed in their pie selection/quality. We went for breakfast and the food was good and the service was great. Arrived around 8:45 am on a Sunday and was no wait and seated immediately. The severs we're on point with coffee refills and never let the cup run dry. The food came out quickly and the proportions were a good size, we didn't leave hungry! This place is hit or miss. We moved to Fallbrook over the summer and have been here 3 times now. The breakfasts are decent and you get a good serving. Some of the sandwiches are good, but the french dip and the hamburger are a bit of a disappointment for the price. We had really good service once, so-so service once, and awful service once (our waitress took our order, sat down to eat her lunch and never checked back with us. We went to the register to pay and the cashier was just plain rude. Not sure if we will return - Main Street Cafe is always friendly - go there instead. read more

From the street, the place looks bigger than it is. A diner with only the counter & 1 line along the window. The place was packed for Saturday breakfast. Noisy infants are always an issue with me but with ear plugs, it turned out okay. Food was good in moderate purportions & the price was fair. Cozy family owned diner with a local feel. My kids love to go here for breakfast which is always a good value for the money. Recently we found a coupon in the Fallbrook Village News for $10.95 New York Steak and Shrimp, with soup or salad , two choices of veggies, a big hot piece of corn bread and dessert. (Kids always eat free.) The salad I got was larger than usual and very fresh. The steak was large, tender and very tasty. I got a large baked potato with all the fixings. Dessert choices included pie, ice cream, and chocolate pudding. The quality and quantity of the food was excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed our dinner and we will be back soon. read more
