Most amazing sando I've had in my life. No further questions. Such a gem. Go here but let me cut you in line.

The service was excellent... the Meatball Sandwich was SO SALTY! Geez! It looked so delicious (see picture) but OMG! I'll come back and try something different next time...the low stars are based solely on the food not the service.

Great local spot that was suggested by someone who lives here. I always try to fi d a non corporate place to eat when I'm out of town Very friendly staff when you order. Classic old school family owned Italian Delicatessen. I ordered the Italian Beef with Bell Pepper and added provolone cheese. Everything had great flavor and the bread was SO fresh and soft. It really sealed the deal on the sandwich.

Frequented Dominick's for lunch when we first moved to Fallbrook in 2011. We left in 2013 and hadn't been back since. Moved back up here in 2018 and decided to try them again for lunch today after 11 years, and it was just as good as we remembered. The bread, the toppings, the meat and of course, the avocado! Will be back again soon.

Great little Italian deli, everything made fresh. I've never been to a place with so many extra options, which is great! Sandwiches were phenomenal, so much so that I didn't even get a picture of them. We ordered the BLT and Italian Beef with peppers. Service was great, staff was friendly and greeted everyone. There is even a little dinning area in the next room for those who want to eat there. If I'm in the area again I'd definitely come back and try another sandwich.

The shop is also very well organized and their offerings range from snacks (sweet, salty, savory, mainly) to condiments, teas, coffees, sauces and spices...they even have frozen goods, some decor, and some pots. When I went, there was also a couple of discount carts. Plus, they handed out samples! I didn't recognize much, so I asked for a rundown and some recommendations, which was really helpful. I came away with some Tim Tams, Dallmayr coffee beans, Monaco espresso, Tayto chips, and some teas, cookies, and cakes to try. Service is pretty friendly, and parking is super easy in the lot.

No other market in our area, at least to my knowledge, has what Origins World Foods does. Goodies from Belgium, England, France, Scotland, Germany, Africa, and other countries are on the shelves. The cashier who has rung me up for the two visits I've made is friendly, upbeat, and efficient. A friend of mine drives from Anaheim to shop here. She is a fan of their candies and soups. For me, the candy bars, such as the Mars bars, Aero bars, and the Crunchie bars from the UK really hit the spot. Their unique tins of mints are beautiful. I like the kalfany fresh ice drops so much they have been purchased twice. There is a website for the store but I haven't used it. Me and my friend have plans to drop by soon to replenish our supplies of international foods.

All so very delicious! My own Michigan Polish/Maliszewski family (I am fourth generation, back in Lincoln Park, and still cook Polish for my family when I visit there) did not garnish savory farmer's cheese pierogis with caramelized onions and scallions dipped in garlic-sour cream sauce or ever add fresh dill to the filling --but it is a delicious touch! ) In Michigan, we boiled them slightly in salted water till they floated to the top, drained the water off, then lightly browned them in butter and served them alongside a dollop of cold sour cream. I am very impressed at the quality of the food here, the lightness of the dumpling dough, and definitely had a delicious dinner in my car, a first for me in the 36 years I've lived in CA. (I brought my polka-dancing shoes along as well, but no band was playing in the parking lot outside!- does anyone know of a place for polka dancers like me near San Diego?). Rita Maliszewska-Farkas

We sampled several unfamiliar liqueurs, including their version of eggnog liqueur, which was delicious. The honey liqueur was also intriguing, with a strong liquor proof and a sweet, honey flavor. The market offered a variety of meats, but the smoked herring, pickled herring, smoked sprats, and smoked mackerel, smoked tuna caught my eye. Having seen Russians enjoying these kinds of fish in their mukbang videos, I was curious to try them. Although I didn't purchase the smoked mackerel and smoked tuna, i got the smoked and pickled herring and it was delicious. The staff were helpful and nice. The Euro market had a range of good products, it's small but it carries a lot of good stuff including turkey sweets, like a kind of nougat with an interesting taste, its sugary and very sweet. Overall, the event was a nice experience. We've tasted a lot of new flavors. It was nice to know a little bit about European culture, particularly their food. Thank you!

As a kid I didn't like going here because I didn't think it was as "nice" as Lucky's (aka Albertson's)...how wrong I was!!! Major Market is so much better than Albertsons by a long shot. The produce is better, the hot food is better, and they have a lot of niche/local baked goods that you can't find in most mainstream grocery stores. Not only that but the prices are not too bad, especially for an independent grocery. Unfortunately the last time I visited here, I didn't see that many people. My mom told me that less people have been shopping here and are opting for the Grocery Outlet down the street. As much as I love Grocery Outlet, that makes me sad. Honestly if I lived in Fallbrook, I'd try to come to Major Market more! Love this place!

I didn't realize the kid put them in a plastic bag and then into another bag that fried chicken usually comes in like at Albertsons (they have great, crispy fried chicken). I finished my shopping and a nice kid helped me with my groceries to the car. I hadn't eaten since yesterday and I opened the bag of chicken and it was completely soggy! Disgusting. I couldn't even pick it up without it sliding from my fingers. I removed the plastic bag but it was too gross to eat. I went back into the store to ask for chicken this time that is NOT in a plastic bag. Not to mention hot plastic is full of chemicals! I spoke to the manager and she confirmed they put fried chicken in a plastic bag! Why?? Exactly who does that? I returned to the chicken stand with permission from the manager and asked the gal to give me replacement chicken (per Monica, store manager-I think that was her name) and the employee started rolling her eyes at the other employee. Shame on you, ma'am....do you treat everyone with disrespect? Very reluctant to help me. Absolutely no empathy, kindness or compassion or understanding of what happened. Was more interested in eye rolling with her compadre. While I was waiting, all of a sudden the chicken just dropped out of the bottom of the bag all over the floor! So it's no wonder they put the chicken in a plastic bag inside the actual chicken bag! THE BAG IS TOO FLIMSY AND CHEAP TO HOLD FRIED CHICKEN! GET SOME GOOD BAGS!!! After seeing this completely ridiculous attitude I asked they put the replacement chicken in one of the cardboard containers behind the case. Got more attitude. Then she started doing the price tag. I explained I had already spoken to the manager and it was an even exchange. Again, attitude like I was a real pain in the a$$. What the hell is wrong with people who act like I'm the problem!?!!' I have been in the service industry my entire life and NEVER have I treated anyone (even a legitimate pain in the a$$) like I was treated today. I even apologized for the chicken falling on the floor. I was mortified. Another manager (older guy) was in the isle pretending not to hear the issue and he didn't make an effort to help. So I asked him if anyone had complained about this. Nope! I was the only one....EVER! Here's my question; who eats soggy fried chicken? Not Col. Sanders! Nobody like soggy fried chicken. I ate one piece of the new chicken and it lacked flavor. Threw the rest out. It's hard to find good help that treat the customer with kindness. Kindess doesn't cost anything...but it makes you feel good when you are nice to people. So sorry I shopped there today and bothered you ladies who graced everyone with your presence today. The floral manager is a very sweet lady as she directed me to a manager.
