I have always been fascinated by European meats and delicacies. Upon seeing an event on Facebook about their annual Christmas holiday tasting, my friend and I decided to attend. We sampled several unfamiliar liqueurs, including their version of eggnog liqueur, which was delicious. The honey liqueur was also intriguing, with a strong liquor proof and a sweet, honey flavor. The market offered a variety of meats, but the smoked herring, pickled herring, smoked sprats, and smoked mackerel, smoked tuna caught my eye. Having seen Russians enjoying these kinds of fish in their mukbang videos, I was curious to try them. Although I didn't purchase the smoked mackerel and smoked tuna, i got the smoked and pickled herring and it was delicious. The staff were helpful and nice. The Euro market had a range of good products, it's small but it carries a lot of good stuff including turkey sweets, like a kind of nougat with an interesting taste, its sugary and very sweet. Overall, the event was a nice experience. We've tasted a lot of new flavors. It was nice to know a little bit about European culture, particularly their food. Thank you! read more

Really cool little market with array of little goodies from wine lovers to snacks from around the world. The gentleman working welcomed me in with a smile and was more than willing to speak to me about the different wines. Im a sucker for culture and a good story. In the end i ended up buying 2 bottles of wine with a Dalmatian dog . Awesome gift. I will be back again for the holidays. read more

I really enjoyed going to this little store. They had lots of good staff. My Kids works extremely happiy to see all the selection of candy and snacks. Ever since "Smoked and Tasty" in Esco sold/changed formats I've been reduced to Kasia's / Mrs T but those days are over - this place has the good stuff! Fantastic and friendly little store if you're from the balkans or want to get stuff in that tradition. Real kobasica and kulen (made in the US), ajvars, all the variety of Vegetas. Pašteta of every kind (including vegan). Frozen Burek or good filo/jufka if you prefer to roll your own. Dado ice cream :) Even bottles of Radenska! This is now our go to, we will be returning there regularly. Also worth noting that the vibrant coffee shop next door is excellent, with good coffee, but also meat and cheese burek, and kremśnita! read more

This place used to be called Nas Market but is now called EURO MARKET. The man inside is not the most welcoming, but I think he meant well. They have dry foods and drinks as well as cold things. It's a nice market. I got a cold drink to go. I'd like to try the chocolate sometime. read more

This place is great for trying Eastern Europe food and wine, the staff is super helpful and friendly in picking out items. I've never had food from this part of the world but will definitely come back for Avjar (red pepper spread) Cevapi (sausage) and Burek. Nas Marker is a great store. Eastern European market that San Diego needed for a long time. I been buying all my favorite products here for a really long time. Schlepped from Oceanside after a reading a review for this place. However, I didn`t buy anything. I guess they consider English foods not European as we`re out of the EU. (Thank you!). A whole line of Italian foodstuffs that I can buy anywhere from Homegoods (much cheaper) else. One English item: McVities Jaffa cakes. So that`s me out. Thanks. The store is clean. The smoked bacon was delicious, that's it. Some products are expired. Poor selection. No smoked fish such as Makarel or salmon. Smoked bacon and meat packed in huge portions like party packs. No cheese selection. This made in Romania "zakyska" which is vegetables spread is horrible- we throw it away in the garbage after the first try, so tasteless like kasha without salt. No famous Russian chocolate candies such as Bear, Squirrel or other sold by lbs; no famous juices which made in Armenia, Latvia or Germany. The good looking strudel was expired too... same with a caramel halva which looked so yummy- expired:( I drove 40 min to buy my favorite groceries down there- waste of gas. Plus prices are high too. Went here to shop for some items since I found it and I was in town since where I live there is a store like this on my last day in SD on my way back home. Got home to find out they are all expired what a disappointment and waste of money. Worse part can't even return them because that would cost me more. Check what you buy here apparently because they can be expired and worse part they from October of 2021 and the banana covered chocolates are expired beginning of this year ugh. read more

I wanted to like this place but the owner has a stale attitude, just like the expired food they have here. Dimitrije and Bogdan were great but they both don't work there anymore. If you like Balkan food, Serbian in particular, you are in good place. I found kore za gubanicy, cevape, pljeskavuce, lepinje, sir , they even have frozen sour cherries . I have never found frozen sour cherries in 22 years in America. I like this place and I ll be back again and again! read more

Racist Owners. My blind father and I (hispanic) took a seat outside of the place to rest before we shopped and I was in the middle of describing what the shop was about when an old man came yelling at us. The very first thing he yelled to us was "you need to leave" I was confused and he started scolding me about how its his shop and his seats "aren't just for anyone". He did not attempt to talk to us in a neutral tone, nor did he ask if we were going to buy anything he just started scolding us. After yelling at me i stood in shock as any 15 year old would and he took my silence and yelled "DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IM SAYING?". We left without talking back and kept our calm but left feeling humiliated as we were only trying to try something new. read more

Love this place. Haven't grown up with an Eastern European influence, walking through this shop is such a throwback of all the items I remember seeing and using in our daily lives. Vesna is a lovely lady who is kind and helpful. The shop also makes traditional a Serbian style shepards' bread in the back bakery that is delicious. If you don't get there early enough, you won't get a loaf. I pick up "vegeta" without MSG and she offers it. You have to pick up some "Domac" coffee and be sure to pick up the small water boiler to make this coffee. Enjoy the place. Explore. read more
