I have always been fascinated by European meats and delicacies…read more Upon seeing an event on Facebook about their annual Christmas holiday tasting, my friend and I decided to attend. We sampled several unfamiliar liqueurs, including their version of eggnog liqueur, which was delicious. The honey liqueur was also intriguing, with a strong liquor proof and a sweet, honey flavor. The market offered a variety of meats, but the smoked herring, pickled herring, smoked sprats, and smoked mackerel, smoked tuna caught my eye. Having seen Russians enjoying these kinds of fish in their mukbang videos, I was curious to try them. Although I didn't purchase the smoked mackerel and smoked tuna, i got the smoked and pickled herring and it was delicious. The staff were helpful and nice. The Euro market had a range of good products, it's small but it carries a lot of good stuff including turkey sweets, like a kind of nougat with an interesting taste, its sugary and very sweet. Overall, the event was a nice experience. We've tasted a lot of new flavors. It was nice to know a little bit about European culture, particularly their food. Thank you!

Their customer service is also great and accommodating. I always receive quick replies when I needed to make a change. One year she even created a custom gift basket at our request without much direction and it was beyond our expectations!! Highly recommend if you want some of the best pierogi and sauerkraut. And that garlic sauce is magic!

All so very delicious! My own Michigan Polish/Maliszewski family (I am fourth generation, back in Lincoln Park, and still cook Polish for my family when I visit there) did not garnish savory farmer's cheese pierogis with caramelized onions and scallions dipped in garlic-sour cream sauce or ever add fresh dill to the filling --but it is a delicious touch! ) In Michigan, we boiled them slightly in salted water till they floated to the top, drained the water off, then lightly browned them in butter and served them alongside a dollop of cold sour cream. I am very impressed at the quality of the food here, the lightness of the dumpling dough, and definitely had a delicious dinner in my car, a first for me in the 36 years I've lived in CA. (I brought my polka-dancing shoes along as well, but no band was playing in the parking lot outside!- does anyone know of a place for polka dancers like me near San Diego?). Rita Maliszewska-Farkas

Tanks of crabs, fish, lobster, even alligators on beds of ice. It's a little unkempt, no big deal! The place gets plenty of customers so by the end of the day, it's pretty untidy. If you don't want to see what you are eating in its raw or living form, don't go near the meat, seafood or poultry section! There are also Chinese stores, about a dozen, inside the building, for Chinese snacks, a Chinese traditional pharmacy and jewelry and clothes. A fun place to look around

I find it more convenient and they have pretty much quality produce from ginger, garlic, greens, spinach, taro leaves, taro root, and other fresh Asian herbs. Prices are a little bit pricier than ranch 99 I would say 20 to 25% higher in cost, but is more convenient here for last minute Asian sauces, proteins, and vegetables and produce. They have a full Service fish counter that has fresh fish that they will fillet and or fry for you, fresh shrimp, in all types of sizes, grabs, various types of fish, and other seafood products. They stock many types of sauces from Korean to soy to Japanese. Plenty of parking market is clean and well stocked, great desserts, and various types of Bakery items as well.

While the menu was limited that day, it's still worth trying everything you can on it! My husband and I ordered a smoked pork belly musubi to share, steak plate and hamburger steak plate. The sides are superb, the mac salad was a favorite over potato salad for once. The steak was cooked to perfection and the hamburger steak was seasoned beautifully and paired amazing with the sauce. My recommendation - order your own musubi! The smoked pork belly was smoky, tender... just perfection. You may want to order a second to go! Highly recommend coming here, everyone Is so nice and personable! You'll easily be finding yourself thinking when to stop in again!

Definitely a great spot to grab Japanese snacks or a quick bite.
