Really good! Very fresh sea food and they have a small salad bar with fruits and seaweed salad. It feels very homey and authentic! Will definitely coming back

Nice homey spot with sweet staff! They offer AYCE hotpot for a reasonable price and have their full dinner menu as well! Place does get packed during dinner hours. That night we decided on curry pork, fried calamari, pan fried chicken with black pepper sauce and Tom yum seafood noodle with ramen! We also got different smoothies including a mystery flavor (or surprise me flavor from the owner). The portions here are always large, plenty of sauce no stinginess here. The chicken was moist, soak up the black pepper sauce with some white rice. Feels like a home meal! The curry is great because so many places use premade bagged curry portions and charge for extra bag being open. Here it's made in house and tasty! The Tom yum soup has depth to the flavor and it was not spicy for anyone whom may be wondering! Smoothies were all creamy and great consistency, no ice shards and also bits of real fruit in there!

I cannot overstate how amazing the food is but the service is always what shines through (if even possible as the food speaks for itself) The owner Joy and Carmen have been wonderful to us throughout the years and have treated us like long-awaited family since we first walked in for a meal. They are a crowd favorite amongst any family or friends that we have brought to meet them. Now it's been at least two years and Fairy Cafe has become a part of our monthly routine because we cannot stay away. They serve fresh veggies along with their delicious hotpot, amazing crab Rangoons, and they do so with warm hospitality at an affordable price. It's very clean and organized inside as well as very beautifully decorated and painted. They also have now hot pot + buffet and so we look forward to celebrating their future successes!

This place has an excellent service. Server was very kind and polite. I ordered their Shanghai soup dumpling and stir fry noodle. Big mistake on my part. I think this place has better hotpot and rice plate options. Soup dumpling was tasty and the juice inside these dumplings are rich. Stir fry noodle are okay but came with big portion. I think it's for 1-2 person serving. They have a lot of seats so bring everyone!!!

Free street parking on neighboring streets. Overall, the service was good and the food was "not bad". Pan fried dumplings were juicy and lightly fried with a good meat to skin ratio. Sticky rice texture was good but lacked flavor. Mala lamb noodles were too oily and heavy on the seasoning. The tofu skin was nice though Iced Hong Kong milk tea was nice to sip on with the spicy dish. The seasonings to the food were a bit heavy and made us feel quite bloated and thirsty after the meal.

fairy café is like warm, comfort, food. It won't knock your socks off, but it won't break your wallet either. we've been here multiple times for lunch and dinner. If we're not craving anything in particular, then we usually end up here if we are in the area. If you get a rice dish, the rice portion is huge, and we always have to pack most of it home Parking a street.

Update (December 2023) They do have AYCE hot pot buffet. The last time I got it, there was a bug in my veggies and needless to say, I didn't have an appetite afterwards and never ordered the AYCE hot pot again. Each visit, I tried a different soup and after 10 visits, my favorite is the Japanese style pork ramen AND the salt and pepper chicken wings. Don't forget the milk tea! Small local shop, always busy so you know it's popular. Would recommend checking out if you're in the area.

Great service, great soups. Took a couple of dishes to go. Everything was quick but tasted fresh. The mango and one other smoothie is made fresh and you can ask them not to add sugar. It was nice to have the option. Parking wasn't too difficult. 2 hour street spots around and a 1 hour lot for the bakery across the street. Not the best location but otherwise worth a visit.

not sure why this place is rated so high (i've also heard really good things!) maybe we did not order the right things? we arrived at 6:30pm and by 7 the place was full. the service was quick and friendly! we had a party of 7. i was surprised they let us do half AYCE hotpot and half order off regular menu. i can't comment on hotpot but the regular food was okay. ouu i did really like their salt and pepper wings. think wingding dinner wings but with really good seasoning. their seafood udon and beef with enoki mushrooms looked like their hotpot leftovers and they poured it over udon/rice (not bad and not particularly amazing either) i was really intrigued by their bbq taro. it was fine but not life changing crab rangoons were crispy and creamy. i didn't mind the soup dumplings. but i can see people thinking the wrap is thicker than usual and not a lot of soup inside. their watermelon shake was yummy! milk tea was fine -- a tad sweeter than i usually like it.

The service was amazing from entering to exiting. Kind and funny servers who's sense of humor can deal with my talkative father. My food was really good and so was the rest of my family's. We ordered from the regular menu. I also really enjoyed the Thai Tea drink. My dad loved the hotpot and kept himself entertained cooking his food and constantly asking the servers about how long each food takes. 10/10 would recommend if you're in the area.

I would go to the original Brookline location but this one is a little easier for me to get to. My go-to is the OG miso ramen, It's very rich and hearty, leaving you quite satisfied after eating. If you want a "cleaner" flavor, then shio is a good choice. The portions are rather generous and they don't skimp on the toppings. You actually get a 1/2 egg included, which is becoming rare these days. The karaage (fried chicken) isn't the crispiest I've ever had but it is really flavorful and tender. The marinating and using boneless chicken thighs lends itself to having those two traits. Service is generally friendly and prompt. The area inside is a little dark, and uses artificial lighting to stay somewhat bright, but it's fine. This is a less cramped space than the Brookline location and since it's in a strip mall, there's parking. The area is rather devoid of ramen shops, so this was a much-welcomed addition.

First, we got the vegetable tempura to share. It was light and crispy, pairing well with the sauce they provided. My personal favorite was the sweet potato tempura! They also offer a terrific sushi combo special; 2 rolls for $15 or 3 rolls for $19.45. We got two 3-roll sushi combos and I personally opted for the Spicy Salmon, Spicy Scallop, and Shrimp Tempura rolls. My favorite roll was the Spicy Scallop roll, but all the rolls were amazing! The Spicy Scallop Roll is a MUST TRY here. The fish is so fresh and they give a lot of fish (perfect fish-to-rice ratio!). I love how the tempura was crispy in the sushi rolls as well. Overall, the quality of the food is solid too, and it's a great place to get some tasty sushi. There are probably about 8 tables max at Toppu, so it's a great spot to grab some takeout. They have their own parking lot and there's tons of street parking right in front of the restaurant. However, I definitely recommend dining in though! The restaurant is clean and cute. I love how they have Toppu dishes and glasses. The staff is also very friendly. One thing to note though (which is the only reason I'm giving Toppu 4 stars instead of 5) is that the service can be a bit slow when they're busy. It took some time to get our food and the bill. There was only one waiter working as well. I'm sure once they've been open for a while they'll figure it out! I recommend giving Toppu a try! I'll be back soon to try their ramen and omurice.

I was worried that I had fallen out of love with it, and/or that my palate changed for the worse. Still, me being me, when I discovered Toppu was open, I made it a point to stop in and give it a try. This time I was not afraid of the heat, and ordered the spicy "Volcano" Ramen. I've had my tail absolutely handed to me a handful of times, but I decided to trust the server that it wasn't crazy hot. Well, I am glad to report this was the best bowl of ramen I have had in a long time. It was so good, even though it has been less than 24 hours, I am tempted to go back and order the same thing again. This is one of those rare cases when I cannot think of anything negative to say. Yes, this means I have experienced perfection! I have to start with the broth: the broth had the perfect amount of salt, was very savory, and had a hint of extremely pleasant sweetness. True to the server's word, the heat level was on point. It was spicy enough to be noticeable, but not at all overpowering or overwhelming. The definition of pleasant heat. The Chashu was also great! It was grilled/roasted instead of being boiled, and it had a good balance of fatty and meaty. It had absorbed a little bit of sweetness from the broth which worked wonders with the protein. For the noodles, these were cooked to perfection with just a teeny tiniest amount of firmness for texture. The egg was also cooked perfectly. For the veggies: I love the use of bean sprouts and bamboo shoots for added freshness and crunch. The use of Nori (which I think also counts as a veggie?) was also excellent and added a new dimension to the bowl. Finally, for the service, other than me wishing that an empty water glass was noticed a bit faster, no complaints here. The service was kind, polite, and speedy. When it comes to the location, it is clean and bright! They did a truly lovely job renovating in rehabbing the Dunkin' Donuts that used to be here. With this, I am absolutely a fan of Toppu, and I'm going to make a point to stop in at least one more time before I leave the state for good!

The inside of Hakata Ramen is tight and can get pretty busy, but the vibe is what you'd expect for the area. The staff is honestly the best part. They are welcoming and move fast. I have been here a handful of times and it is a reliable choice for comfort food. They have these daily bento specials with ramen, sushi, and appetizers that look like a great deal. I tried, but they are intriguing. The main downside is the broth quality compared to the price. There are definitely more authentic ramen spots in the city if you are a purist. You can tell the base is not a homemade tonkatsu broth, which is a bit of a letdown for what they charge. Still, it is a decent spot for a quick meal. * Tempura Ramen (7/10): The tempura is a total highlight because it is served on a separate plate to keep it from getting soggy, though the broth itself is fairly standard. Cloud Asian Fusion is in the corner of the plaza that houses China Pearl and Kam Man, to the right of Kam Man. It is a long narrow type space. Rather industrial, and concrete. I arrived first and scored the last table in the room with the bar, only to later discover that there were a few tables in the room in the back to the right. My DCs were running late, so I gave our waiter a head's up. He never made me feel bad for taking up the space. And it helped that there was never a queue waiting to be seated that Sunday night. We each ordered our own meal while sharing bites. While there are a few entrees at Cloud Asian Fusion that include both protein and vegetable, such as the Braised White Fish $22 (assorted mushrooms, fried tofu) one DC ordered, mine (Siam Crab Curry $22 - lump crab, spicy red curry, basil, bean sprouts, Thai Chili, thin rice noodles) and my other DC's (Mapo Katsu $16 (chicken katsu, mapo sauce, short grain white rice, furikake) came without (I don't count the small stash of raw bean sprouts on my plate), so I added the blistered green beans $16. Our server was pleasant and told me that they could make anything less mild. Even so, the slow burn from the milder Siam Crab Curry was a bit more than I would have liked. He checked up on me and offered to have the chef prepare a fresh batch with a milder curry powder instead, so I could better enjoy my meal. The original orange yellow of my crab curry bowl was turned a green yellow in its replacement. But it was still tasty, and still generous with lump crab meat. This was a good pick! The green bean vegetable dish was quite good too. I was happy with my meal. I sampled the other two dishes and found the regular mapo sauce recipe too spicy for my taste. The fish dish was tasty, but we found nothing especially fusion about it. 3 stars all around experience, but 4 stars for my own meal.
