I am currently dealing with a major digital security compromise and a pending police report, meaning I cannot safely access email on my phone and needed to use their customer computer. The customer computer was down. Instead of offering an alternative workaround to help a customer in a crisis, the employee (male with a dark beard, glasses, face mask, and hat) was incredibly curt, rigid, and dismissive. He flat-out refused to help, stating, "This is a business," and even lied by saying he didn't know the address of a nearby sister store to avoid looking it up. I literally stood in front of him and called the Menlo Park UPS store. They immediately agreed to help me print my documents using alternative methods, despite having the exact same technical outage. When I told this employee that the other store was willing to assist, he just gave a lazy, "Sorry, I can't." Avoid this location. If you expect standard problem-solving or decent human customer service, go to the Menlo Park location instead. They actually care about helping people.

My husband and I are excellent packers so when the crew (usually just two guys) shows up we are ready to start moving boxes to the truck. We carry a lot of the boxes, ourselves to speed up the process and reduce our costs due to hourly pricing. During the move, instead of coming directly to our location, the movers made a stop first; stating they were going to take a break. I asked the managers to check their gps location for proof and they refused. My family tipped each of the 3 movers in cash additionally and bought them food as a thank you. This was done before we found out some of our items never arrived. As of recent, they have ignored further communication from me. Half service deserves half payment.

Also, make sure they do not charge you for "yard to yard" mileage as they did to me. There is a "double drive time" law which states they can only charge from current place to new location, times two. I was charged for their drive, from Morgan Hill to Union City, and back to Morgan Hill. I was charged over $2500 and 9.5 hours, approx an hour plus, of driving they were not supposed to charge for. The "not to exceed" agreement was presented to me at the end of the move which they filled in as not to exceed $3200. I was charged for gas. I was charged $60 for shrink wrap. 2 of the 4 guys used my bathroom at the old place and the new place, #2 both times. Sorta uncomfortable!! On one hand you gotta go you gotta go, but really? at the NEW house? I moved 2 months later, and paid under $900 before tip, received all paperwork BEFOREHAND, DO YOUR HOMEWORK with these guys if you decide to proceed with them. They ripped me off hundreds of $$.

At the destination (which was local), in spite of the elevator, they finished the move in 3 hours. 10 hours was estimated, but Enrique did it in 6 hours. Kudos to them! They did a fabulous job. In the end, he was far cheaper than any other moving company, and I called quite a few. He also had the highest rating. Robert is honest, experienced, and a hard worker. Recommendations: Be packed/ready to go. He has blankets and plastic for big items like couches and tvs, but it is best if you are packed and ready to go. You can help them move smaller items if you want to expedite the process and save a bit. Notes: On the weekends he has a 3 hour minimum. On the weekdays it is a 2 hour minimum.
