First, with a positive, the follow up and customer service is great. It has to be, due to the following comments listed. 2. Moved a 1 bedroom apt( bedframe , mattress, dresser , 2 TVs , and a sofa), and it took 5 hours , with a locked elevator , in the same building, separated by 2 floors.Everything additional was boxed or bagged. No loose items. 3. They attempted to change the charges the day of the move , even though we had confirmed less than 24 hours prior. Claimed the 3rd person Was due to their double booking, snow , etc . And the additional man would speed up the process . Did i mention this simple 1 bedroom move took 5 hours for an in building, one bedroom transfer? Does that seem expedited ? Everything was a group effort, and teaching moment. this slowed the move down. For example, it Took 20 minutes of discussion to figure out how to disassemble a bed frame efficiently . Constantly going back and forth to the moving truck on the clock ( for what idk ) . If not watched , disappearing for 15-20 minutes at a time . 4. I was advised that I could leave my dresser items in the drawers, and they could move them efficiently. I now have to find someone to take my dresser apart, due to items some how making their way to inside unreachable areas insiders dresser. 5. I have to find someone to reassemble my sofa. They didn't put it back together. 6. You're charged 30 minutes to and from . So, you owe an hour before they start . They didn't have to leave the property, but charged me fuel . How do you charge someone fuel, and time for arrival, and departure ? Seems like the rate is only labor . You're also charged for any items used to rap to transport furniture . The intimation that they try to give you when you book is that is inclusionary. 7. With a discount, A DISCOUNT, this move cost me $1,000. Between the random 3rd man up charge , wrapping items for the large furniture , fuel charge , insurance that they make you cover that they don't disclose until the last minute that is almost $200 additional ... 8. Moved my items into the hallway, and left them there unattended while moving. 9. Even if you pay by phone, they want you to write your credit card information on a random piece of paper. It's a hard NO, for me. Yes, I signed, and let them go about their business. It's exhausting to keep debating obvious discrepancies, and hidden fees during a move which is a top 3 stressor in general. Just .... Don't . Use someone else .

I booked my move a week in advance and paid a $100 deposit after being told it would guarantee my moving date and secure my spot. Then, only 3 days before my scheduled move, the manager -- I believe his name was David -- called to tell me they were fully booked for the entire week and that my move would either need to be rescheduled or canceled altogether. I made it very clear from the beginning that my apartment lease ends on the 31st and that I needed to move before then. Had this company been honest about the fact that paying a deposit did not actually guarantee service, I would have hired another moving company much earlier. Now I'm left scrambling at the last minute, despite having everything planned out. I also have to report to work in another state on the 1st, so this has created a major inconvenience and unnecessary stress. To make matters worse, speaking with them on the phone was a complete disaster. The communication was unprofessional, disorganized, and unacceptable. They agreed to refund the $100 deposit, but that does not make up for the inconvenience, stress, and potential consequences this situation may cause me. If I receive penalties from my landlord for a late move-out or face any employment-related consequences because of this company's failure to honor their commitment, I will absolutely be exploring all possible legal and consumer protection options.

I was standing outside a few minutes before they opened, and sure enough at 9am on the dot, they opened the door. There were two employees working in the store when I came in, and I quickly found the self serve copier machine to print out my docs. Unfortunately though, both of their copiers were not operational and I was perplexed about what to do next. To e person who appeared to be in charge offered to print my documents behind the counter. I knew that the price to print behind the counter is somewhat higher than if you print with the self serve machines. Nevertheless, she took control of the situation and was able to help me at no charge. I appreciated it!

I got the qr code for the return label from the company, reassuring me only one code was needed. The ups manager refused to take them with the 1 QR code that was provided by the shipper. I had had to lug the heavy items back, call the shipper, waste 40minutes, redo the 2 qr codes because it was shipped to me in 2 packages. A week before I did the exact same process with no issues for 2 other packages in one order and already got my refund. Some people when they have a tiny power, they want to exercise it on customers to show their authority. Totally unfit to deal with customers. Terrible attitude, most unhelpful. I will never use the service again. Now I have to take these boxes again to another ups hopefully with better employees.

I had rented a uhaul, provided my credit card and the provider decided, without telling me he was going to rent my uhaul to someone else, that he was going to rent my reserved uhaul to another person. The provider had NO remorse for doing this to me. This happened on the DAY of my move. It led to me having to reserve a smaller truck, which meant I needed to do multiple trips, pay for many additional miles because the reservation location was farther away and cause me so much additional stress during a move that was already stressful during the holidays. In my opinion, Uhaul should reimburse me for the additional cost due to their providers bad judgement and inappropriate conduct.
