The woman that answered the phone was extremely rude started talking disrespectfully to me when I ask a question about prices for mailboxes. Then she started just saying she was with another customer and trying to talk to me at the same time and wouldn't I want her to not put me on hold and answer my questions while she's helping another customer. I have never in my business experience dealt with someone as rude and disrespectful. Do not go to this UPS go down the street not far into Washington DC. The service was much better! I have used UPS stores for my business for over 15 years and I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect. I swung by here today to get a copy of my lease printed off. The cost was around $25 for 69 pages which I thought was high. The service was fine. It took a while as the rep taking care of me was having some issues with the printer and such. read more

Just left this place. Walked in with a bunch of packages. Looked like only one person was working. She was trying to troubleshoot the printer. Didn't acknowledge me for a good 4 minutes. Could have told me there was a self-service option, found it myself. Once I placed the label on my box, I brought it up to the counter. First time she spoke to me was to tell me to not put it on the counter. When you want to see what lazy looks like, here it is. I'm not that upset, working hard doesn't get you paid more. Gosh -- I had a similar experience to a recent poster, except I waited fifteen minutes while the staff person struggled with the printer. No acknowledgment of the other people waiting in line. When the staff person finally turned to the other folks in the line, she responded to questions with disdain and dismissiveness, as if we should know all the store's rules of self service and Happy Returns. Convenient location with parking outside. It's a small store and fairly busy. everyone wears a mask and practice social distancing. They should provide hand sanitizers at the front door. The staff is friendly and helpful. Notary service is available from 9-12 and 1-4pm. I was there for fingerprinting. Dominic was efficient and helpful. read more

The manager shouted at me not once, but twice with no reason. The first time he shouted I told him there was no need to shout. Instead of stoping, he shouted even more. I was totally embarrassed. When he noticed the eyes on him of the rest of the clients he stopped and started to say that he was not talking to me but to his employee! Unacceptable. Why he shouted to me? Because he didn't like my description of of the documents I was intending to send abroad ("they are Apostilles of a legal document" I said...and he started to shout at me telling me that that doesn't mean anything and started saying repeditly: "what kind of document?", "what kind of document?" in a threatening way...i was totally shocked). With total rudeness he checked the documents just to find out that the name of the document (first sentence in the first page) was "Aspostille". more shouting and I asked him to stop shouting at me and he shouted me even more as said. His employee was super kind in the other hand but if you can, go to another store where managers can mantain the levels of respect and treat people in a kind way. UPS alerted me in general terms of what might be the early arrival of my iPhone 11. When the doorbell rang and I padded down three flights of stairs, I was ready to see the UPS guy with package in hand. He had actually found our place back 100 feet from the street. Everything was perfect. He had signer's pad in hand and I signed. Package was in excellent shape. I expect the best of UPS. I was a UPS dispatcher and bookkeeper at the Canal Street station of UPS in the sixties. UPS helped me get through college. read more

I have been here many times and if you average all these times, I've been more than satisfied with my experience of this affiliated UPS store. The staff are very friendly and if you are dropping a package off, they promptly print out a confirmation receipt for your records. This is a great UPS location. For those who drive, you may have difficulty finding legal parking as I see a lot who park illegally to drop off package TIP: Just don't block the driveway of the hotel adjacent to the UPS store if you are dropping something off unless if you want to have your car towed. read more

By far the WORST customer service experience ever. I returned an Xfinity box and was yelled at and harassed by the two extremely rude employees working there because I threw away the packaging (in the trash can) they said wasn't needed to return the cable box. It was the most bizarre experience ever!! They kept loudly yelling (literally yelling) that I could not use their trash can, WTF, what is the trash can for, then? Also, I had my service animal. I came in one day with my package, and before I said one word, he started yelling at me that I couldn't mail something in an alcohol box. It was just the box, which is what I had on hand. The larger gentleman who I spoke with was one of the rudest, passive aggressive and smug people I have ever come in contact with. He presented me with a potential problem but offered no soultion. I was ready to vent but it's not worth it. UPS HQ team, secret shop this location and see what people have to deal with. I have a corporate account with UPS and am in UPS stores all the time, all across the country. My experience at this location was a joke, and the guy working the front who had been there 'for over 20 years' needs a refresher course in customer service. Edit: I browsed other reviews and see that I'm not the only who had issues there with this guy, I'm guessing I dealt with ´Eddy'. As one other reviewer mentioned, this guy has to drop the power trip. The staff at the store are extremely unprofessional. They did not ask me to declare the value of the merchandise I was sending (they made it up themselves) and they forgot to write on the package that it was a gift. As a result, as the package was going international, the person receiving the gift had to pay 50 euros in taxes! Imagine how nice it was as a present! When I called the store, they tried to blame the country I sent the package to and myself. Only at the end of my insistent call for checking what went wrong they had to admit that it was their negligence. They did not offer an apology and didn't care when I said that my family and I will never use UPS again. Don't use that store if you want to avoid a nightmare! read more

Horrible customer service. I am pretty sure this lady (tall, light hair, and bigger) chooses hard every morning. I just needed to ship something that I already had a code for and she tried to charge me for a label where it clearly stated "UPS will print label" and then wanted to charge me $7 for a box and another $8 to tape it. I asked if I could just pack it myself and she told me "you can pack it in here because that would be considered a "packing service" even though I AM PACKING it. So, I asked if I packed the box on the sidewalk would she charge me and she said thats fine but I can use her tape, I'd have to purchase. You'd think her name was UPS. -3/10 dont recommend read more

Eddie and his gang at the UPS store on N Street in Georgetown have become part of our daily routine, as we regularly have our Amazon and other packages sent there for security reasons. They are invariably patient and friendly, even while dealing with sometimes harried customers, including students, trying to get parcels sent. A big plus is that they also provide notary services, which we've used on more than one occasion. Suffice it to say, they make our living here in Georgetown easier. This location is the worst. Eddie - who works there told the person in front of me and then me the reasons why we could ship our packages (Wrong box) and then the bureaucratic steps to do things correctly which didn't make any sense. He was unwilling to put it in another box unless I paid a packing fee or I could go outside after purchasing a box and tape and do it myself. I ended up going to another UPS store and it was completely fine. read more

As UPS locations go, I've had good success with this one. It doesn't have the range of computer services that I can get at my local Fedex/Kinko's, but they'll take packages and tape them up and mail them for me without a fuss, which is often more than I can say for the post office. read more

Service was okay, but Geez...!! ground transport of a box 8x8x8.... I was told had to be repackaged into something bigger (for which I had to pay $7.45). The funny thing is that I had received this exact box with the same contents FROM UPS to begin with, so imagine my surprise that now a box that size can't be used. There were no UPCs, etc., I was told it was the size of the box that was the problem. Then insurance with shipping was $57.87 for a total of $65.50. Insurance was only $1K. Next time, I'll definitely just use the post office. Good grief! read more

They sent me the 'same' return labels for BOTH TVs, although I spoke with Amazon 2 times over the phone about it.
