Love that this place is near me. You can tell the manager loves his job. He's very on top of things and his employees when he sees that they aren't giving 100 percent attention to the customer. This place is reasonably priced considering the area and the store front space. You can literally do it all there. They have a computer that you can use to surf the net or do work on. You can also save that cost by emailing your project to them to print for you. They have faxing services and also do all types of business projects such as banners, cards, card stock items, etc. No complaints here and I've come twice. Customer service is very good! I dropped off a package for a return and I asked twice for a receipt. The man there that day told me the order slip I was holding was enough. I should have known better -- because a week later I found out from the vendor that the package was never shipped. I went in-person to check on it and Femi, who was working that day, was not helpful. The store is an absolute mess, so I was hoping he would look through the random piles everywhere and try to find the package. But he would not. Instead he kept asking me if I was sure I dropped something off at that store. Terrible service and lost packages. Avoid. read more

I do not recommend PostNet location at 5557 Baltimore Ave #500 in Hyattsville, MD. My wife and I have visited this location before with no problems. I needed to mail a package back to UPS as the quarantine was beginning. PostNet is a UPS dropoff location. I saved the UPS return QR code to my phone and drove to the location. An employee, Femi, could not scan the return QR code, so he asked me to email it to him. No problem. Once he printed out the return label, he explained that there was a charge of $3.29. I assumed that the charge was for mailing the package back to UPS, although UPS explained that return mail was free. Nonetheless, the quarantine had me nervous and I wanted to get back home. I paid and left. After reviewing the receipt, I learned that I was charged $2.99 for computer services and $.30 for printing one black & white sheet of paper. I was charge for computer services although I never used the computer. I was $.30 for a copy although Femi asked that I email him the QR Code because he could not scan it from my phone. When I pointed out this error via email to the owner, he argued that it would have been more expensive anywhere else! Not even slightly true! The owner refused to refund me for charges that I should not have been asked to pay. Whether it is $3.00 or $.30, the point is that when you are wrong, admit to it and make amends. This is not a full UPS location even though they advertise as such. I went to do an amazon refund drop off and they could not scan the UPS label. It's purely a drop off place and the advertising / labeling is misleading to the point of predatory. read more

Updating my review almost 1 year later. Postnet is still my go-to copying, shipping, mailing place. Hours are much better than the local post offices and Staples, easy parking in front or the back parking lot. Super convenient, and most importantly the customer service is top notch. Today an employee named Romeo assisted me. I was able to print a shipping label, mail a package USPS, and purchase a couple photo mailing envelopes in about 2 minutes. Thanks Postnet! Stopped by for the first time today to have 2 documents scanned. Employees were very friendly and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Recently tried to get an order from here but turned really sour. Granted I did ask for a faster turn around because we were in a time crunch but they seemed to be accommodating when I called but the next day when I called to receive an invoice, they told me whoever told me that last night was wrong and he's not in yet. I get that maybe the guy that I talked to didn't know the policy that well BUT still they refuse to take responsibility for their miscommunication, poor service, and being unreliable. I went in today just to drop off a UPS package. I gave him the label and I asked if he had some tape. He says "I've got it." I explained that i couldn't just leave the box open because it was from my company. He motioned for the tape on the counter and says I'm not going to steal anything from you. I very softly say oh no I don't think u will it's just this isn't mine so I have to make sure it's from my company. I placed one strip and as I was going to put a second strip he motioned for me to give it to him and he pointed at the tape then barks at me tape isn't free. I just say ok and wait for the receipt and leave. Not sure what I did to offend him. I called back later and as I sat on hold I heard him helping a white lady who asked a bunch of questions ever so politely. It's sad but true Africans show the least respect to black people. DO NOT GO! I will never go there again. They were totally misleading! I paid over forty dollars for what I thought was two-day shipping for two packages under a pound and small! When I went to tracking a couple days later- they were sent through USPS! What a joke! When I called, they were extremely unhelpful and dismissive of my concern. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! LIES REGARDING PROJECT TURN AROUND TIME! I called 2 weeks ago for a 500 piece, double-sided print job, price quote and was told, if I turn it in the morning, I can pick it up the next day. The next week, I went into the location and spoke directly to a younger gentleman about my project and he told me if I turn it in on Monday, I can pick it up Wednesday. I came in Monday around 1:30p to submit my project and was told by the same associate, that the drop off was at 12 noon (10a for business cards), in order to pick up Wednesday so, now it will be Thursday. I call Thursday to learn my pick up time and the same associate tells me that it will be delivered Monday!!! WHAT???!!!!! He, then, cuts me off while I'm reviewing what I was previously told and lies, saying that he told me 3-5 business days for the turn around time! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!!! REALLY?!!!! NOT A GOOD REPRESENTATIVE OF THE COMPANY!!! Needless to say, the future printing projects I spoke to him about will be taken care of by one of the Many competitor printing companies! read more
