I had read good things about the copy and print center online when looking for a reliable place to do a huge copy job for a trial in a legal matter. So I came here based in the reviews. This store lubed up to the hype. Mohammed was working the print center and his help was so invaluable. My machine jammed a few times but he was very patient and happy to help. I guess I overworked the machine cuz it broke. lol. But Mohammed moved me to a different one and just made sure my print job went well. I took me an hour and a half... because of the huge copy job and the few jams/breakdown but Mohammed was patient and helped with a smile. Very professional and highly recommended location! read more

I needed to return an Amazon package and this was where I had to do the transaction. Honestly didn't know they did this type of thing, but it was the only nearby option I had. Weird, because I have done returns before to Amazon at other locations nearer to my apartment, but this one made me go here. I always forget that there are more stores in this are than just PG Plaza. Especially on this side of the street. Not knowing where to go exactly when making my way here, I ended up using GPS, luckily for me, it took me right to the free parking garage attached to the building. Be mindful when parking here, be aware of your surroundings and where the stairs/elevators are. I say this because, in a most likely scenario for you, the elevator will be out of order and you will have to use the stairs. The higher you park, the more stairs... I finally make it to the front door of Staples after fumbling with having to open doors with a large package in my hands. First thing I noticed is that there is not very clearly marked signage. When I paused and looked around and employee shouted from the print area that I needed to make my way to the returns area. I had no clue that is where I needed to drop off my Amazon package, but so it was. When I approached, the lethargic employee just stared at me, didn't say anything. Waiting for her to speak, and nothing. I then spoke up that I am here to drop off my Amazon return. Never having to do a return at a Staples before she expected that I would know what to do automatically. In a gruff voice behind a mask she demanded the QR code needed for the return. She then asked me which one is this for? Uh, the package right in front of you. Yes, there were two items in the box, they were exactly the same, but she didn't take a moment to even look inside the box. Once she got going, I watched to make sure that my items were properly processed. I watched her smoosh them into a box that was way to small for the both of them and then was handed my receipt that they were received and processed. I held my breath until I got confirmation from Amazon that the return was received. I'm hoping I don't have to go through this process again any time soon. Posted business hours says they open at 8 a.m. came down at 8:30 to a security gate and closed door. An employee also waiting outside told us we were waiting on someone to come open the door. About 5 people sitting in the window waiting for someone to open the store. The employee also standing outside was kind but informed us the store couldn't be opened without a second associate present. Overall an unpleasant situation. read more

I was on the hunt for a new office chair and decided to drive over to Staples for a deal. This store looks clean organized and well maintained. I found several chairs that I'm considering for purchase, but Black Friday and Cyber Monday is around the corner so I'll wait a little longer. The chair prices seemed competitive based on local stores and online research. My only criticism is that it seems understaffed. I asked for help from one gentlemen and it looked like he was helping out 5 separate people (including myself). He was very nice, knowledgeable and efficient. If the Staples owner is reviewing this - give this man a raise and give him some additional colleagues. I was at the Staples located across the street from PG Plaza on 4/15 at 10am. I had to do an Amazon return. I'm familiar with the whole process. I walk in and go straight to the Amazon return counter. Nobody is there. I look around, and people are scattered around the front of the store. I see an employee sitting down at the register alone with her back turned to everyone in the store. She's looking down at her phone. I patiently waited in line for about 3 minutes, expecting her to eventually look up and not once did she look up or turn around until one of her co-workers and another customer walked over to talk to her. She hesitantly walks over to me, like I was interrupting her phone time, and with an attitude asks, "Can I help you?" At that point, I'm annoyed because A) she had me waiting while she played on her phone and B) she had an attitude from the start. As she's processing the return, she is acting as if she has a problem with me. She processed the return and brushed me off with a sarcastic "Have a nice day". I asked her to throw away the packaging (it was only a padded envelope). She refused and directed me to a trash can near the exit. I assume she enjoyed that little power trip. I mean, at this point, why would she do anything for me? I leave the packaging on the countertop and leave, I look over at her as i'm heading towards the exit, I see her talking under her breath to herself. I didn't catch her name, but she was a black girl with red hair. This probably would have been smoother if she didn't have her personal phone on the sales floor. She doesn't need to be anywhere near a customer. Staples needs to have her doing anything but talking to people....maybe taking out trash or cleaning the employee breakroom and bathroom. read more

The manager could not find our package. He insisted it was not there. He said the system said it was not there. He said he checked the visual scans and it did not make it there. UPS said it had arrived. He made us call UPS because there was nothing he could do? UPS told us to start an investigation. So we went to another employee, Thankfully the other employee was like "I'll find your package." My daughter was looking at the boxes and located it. Average Staples in a bit of a run-down area. It's pretty well-organized but not entirely stocked with supplies or up to date with their pricing. Good for a quick run on office or school supplies but a bit hesitant with coming back here to regularly shop. read more

I don't understand people who come to work with the intention of not working. I came in here for a very simple item; a webcam cover for my laptop. The first sales associate must have been new, because he had a very difficult time not only locating them, but even understanding what I was looking for. despite my description of the item, as well as a detailed explanation of what it is used for, this guy showed me full-sized external webcams, cloth covers for laptops, and a couple of other things that were absolutely *not* what I was looking for. Finally, I Googled a picture of what I was looking for and showed it to him. He walked over to two other sales associates who actually worked in the tech department and asked them if they could help him find the items. Those guys were too busy with their own personal conversation to assist him, so I finally got fed up and went to the tech manager. The tech manager was working with customers in another department, but was kind enough to leave that department and try to help me find what I needed. He looked the item up online, and even checked the inventory area in the back of the store to see if they had any... Which is exactly what his sales associates should have been doing, instead of standing around and chatting. Long story short, they didn't have the item, and I ended up having to order it online... Which is what a lot of people are doing now instead of going to brick-and-mortar stores. With this level of customer service, or lack thereof, it's not difficult to see why. read more

This is a very busy location. I came here on a Saturday evening to print my wedding invitations. A man by the name of Phil was behind the counter of the print and copy center. I was amazed at his ability to multitask and manage multiple customers, projects and new employees at once while keeping his cool and remaining professional. Thanks Phil! read more

I am arrived not knowing that the store hours changed for this location for 9 am. You would think the cash register would have change and the restrooms clean. The bathroom had napkins, No hand sanitizer, no toilet tissue, trash on the floor, trash can overflowing. read more

A printing service that doesn't have color ink. Made an order for same day pick up and called the store hours later to check status. They told me they ran out of color ink so couldn't fulfill my order. So basically if I didn't call to check, my order would've just been sitting in que for eternity. We recently moved around this area and needed couple of items for our office. Our staples experience has been Great due to an employee name Thomas. His customer service was exceptional. Not mediocre customer service. Not bad customer service. Piss-poor customer service! Apparently, a customer is expected to chase down disinterested employees to ask a question. Then, the answer takes the form of flippant indifference - in other words, ask someone else. I will never patronize, let alone set foot in, this store again. I will also make sure to inform anyone at every given opportunity to stay away from such a poorly managed store where employees are more interested in avoiding their duties than doing their jobs. It's ghettofabolous. the staff seems to be real slow and not concerned with the needs of customers. I only needed to print at the self-station and had a simple question for the casher, didnt require thought, just a Yes or NO and she looked at me as if it was an advanced nuclear physics question. she seemed to respond to her co-worker when talking about a customer with no problem! I went to the next available staff and she was able to assist with the print card and I ASKED before I left specific questions so that I could GET OUT my needs met. the male co-worker was smart mouth and sassy AS IF HE was the genius behind the Staples corporation. well, the machine needed an associate to reset while he making ME feel stupid 0 IN FRONT OF THE MANAGER who gave the excuse "he is having a hard time clocking in" to justify his smart mouth to the customer. the problem is STAPLES dont have immediate competition in the area, if they DID I am sure people wouldn't shop here read more

I wandered around this Staples for close to an hour trying to find anyone who could help me. There were only two employees staffed. Both on registers, There was a phone ringing in the middle of the walkway...it rang and rang and rang and rang and rang and rang until I was about to lose my marbles. I eventually just walked up and took the phone off the hook and left it there. This is a really mismanaged location. read more

Thanks to this store, I will never again set foot in another Staples. I stopped by to print out some handouts for a workshop. I handed my USB drive to the woman in the copy center and she printed out the copies. For some reason, the formatting in my Word program didn't translate to her Word program, and there was an extra blank line of space that caused the front-and-back handout to extend onto a third page. Obviously, I just needed to delete the extra space. I just needed to press the "delete" key one time. However, the woman would not do this for me, nor allow me to do it myself on her computer, even though she had the ability. She insisted that she was not allowed to do any editing, and that I must drive home, open the file, press that one key, re-save the file, and drive back to the store. It was a Saturday morning and the store was completely empty. She had absolutely nothing else to do other than help me, but she couldn't be bothered. This woman was the manager of the copy shop. . . I took my business elsewhere. Lessons learned: a) always convert to PDF b) big box stores are, in fact, evil. (can you imagine a small copy shop doing this to a customer?) read more

I left my computer--which seems to be inflicted with a virus-- to be fixed or certainly to be assessed. Geez, Louise. I called them three times and was on hold each time for well over 15 minutes. No one answered. I had to call back to find out that their tech wasn't coming in for awhile. No one takes messages. No one there seems to be able to pick up a phone. To be honest, with that kind of non-service, I don't think they could run a scan on my machine. I'm going to have drive over and pick up my computer and probably take it to another repair shop, like Best Buy or Office Depot. read more

Sent an email with attachment of banners that needed to be printed out and laminated. Sent that this morning and informed them that we will be picking up the banners at 1:30pm. Got there at 2:30 pm. Talked to one of the staffs working and she said their machine is down. Would have been nice if we got an email saying that the machine is down. I don't even want to give them one star. I had the most horrible printing experience. They have no idea what they're doing and how things work. I needed one letter size double sided color print. It took them 45 minutes and they finally gave me two one sided prints. I don't remember the last time I was this upset over a customer service. I have read so many horrible reviews. I created my Wedding "Save the Dates" on the Printing Portion of the Staples website. That process was seamless. I completed my order at 11am. I went to retrieve my order at 6pm and the order was ready. The Save the dates were very nice and cost effective! The young lady that I worked with in the Copy and Print Shop was just fine. I was greeted with a "Hello, May I help you" and had a seamless transaction. I really believe some people just seek out negative things to say! read more

I had to return something via UPS but didn't have a printed shipping label or tape to close my return package. Okey at the shipping desk helped me tremendously. He printed my label and showed me where I could use their stapler and tape to close my package. His no problem attitude and wonderful disposition made my return task easy and actually fun! My mom went in the next day to do the same thing and was helped by Rafael at the shipping desk. She was delighted by her experience with Rafael and commented how easy it was to make her UPS return too. We will be back for our next return and look forward to being helped by Rafael & Okey!! read more

Please teach the girl at the print center (with the long nails) something. For every task that someone asked her to do she had to wait for her manager. Every task. And it wasn't because she need permission is was because she didn't know. And then the customer has to repeat themselves. She did not know how to print banners she did not know how to change the orientation to print pictures she did not know how to print large quantities of paper. And she did not know how to ring me out. I rather not repeat myself and only wait 20 minutes for the manager to come up instead of 30 minutes plus repeating myself over and over again and her still not understanding what I'm asking. I'm pretty patient but that was a bit frustrating read more

In all fairness, I don't go there a lot and this has been the first issue, but here it is: I'm pretty sure that half of my print job was not returned to me yesterday. Called the print center today, and was put on hold for 12 minutes. I had to hang up. Called back later and was put on hold for 13 minutes, then got disconnected. Called back and explained what I needed, my recent waiting time AND that I had called earlier and the same thing happened. I was put on hold...and after another 9 more minutes, I hung up. Wow! 3 strikes in 1 day over something as simple as handling the phone? Today...they get 1 star! read more

I order a print for a (p d f) version of a book thinking that it will be assembled like a practical book that i can actually study. the print came out as a big pile of sheets, something like 500 pages difficult to organize. I decided to return it for a refund. The return policy printed on the receipt gives me the right to return it for a refund, but the store manager and its associates have denied me that right even for a store credit, arguing that the print center return policies is different of the one printed on the receipt. How would someone know that a print job cannot be returned after 24 hours if that detail is not mentioned on the return policy? read more

Let me preface this by saying that its not in my nature to go out of my way to say something negative. However I had such a bad experience with the manager( I believe) I have to say something. This past Easter Sunday a friend and I entered Staples to print photos for a project. It was later in the day however we checked online and closing time said 6pm. We got there at 4:20. At 4:45 we were told the closing time had been moved to 5pm. Mind you, there were NO signs anywhere stating this. Even if this was the case the manager was extremely rude to us to get us out of "her store." She was so abrasive to the print sales associate that was helping us that he was stuttering and nervous and kept messing up our prints. Her attitude was so bad. It was everything from her tone of voice to her yelling "we are closing" every 5 secs(literally). At one point towards the end of our transaction she came and stood behind the register and glared at us and the remaining customers as we checked out. She also got into a verbal spat with a customer who asked what her problem was. The entire experience was very uncomfortable. Its Easter Sunday not Halloween, there shouldn't hve been any witches around lol! The entire experience has made me never want to return and sooner than later I hope she gets training on proper customer service. read more

i hate that its so close to work. its my third time coming here for copies. they took my info and everything and told me it would take them an hour to make 100 copies for me. i prob could have done them myself.... which ive done before... they said they would call.. they didnt. i didnt need them immediately so i left them to get picked up later. my fiance picks them up and said he was stuck waiting 30 mins for the line... thats kinda ridic. first time i went the machines were broken and i couldnt print anything. second time i asked someone else to go for me... same thing the machine was broken. im not sure where else to get color copies.. if anyone knows please tell me!! im tired of this staples. read more
