Still unable to charge iPad Pro. The technician plugged in his charge port diagnostic device and showed it was normal. And had current draw. The iPad was able to charge using his cables and power blocks. No fee was charged for that service. Service was quick and friendly. I still got home and was unable to charge my iPad Pro with my existing blocks, but using one of the same cables it seems to charge when connected to my MacBook. So maybe it has something to do with software communication or the usb c controller

I noticed this business not only because of it's clever name (aka Woman operated-BONUS!), but also because of the availability to get a fast quote! Nikki responded quickly with a fair price, she answered all of my questions through yelp messages right away and provided me with a wide flexible range of appointments (Im a single mother of a 3yo so this was a huge plus!) and said it would take her about 30-40mins to complete. The very next day we headed to my appt, it was right off the highway and easy to locate (tip: when you arrive at the "mini strip mall", you park and then follow the path around to the backside of the building and follow the arrows). My son & I were absolutely amazed by the beautiful setting of this location! The inside of Geek Girl was perfect.. Very chic with the perfect amount of feminine touch to remind you who is in charge Nikki greeted us with a smile and was more than happy to answer any of my questions, i handed over my sad broken phone and then my son & I stepped right outside the office to enjoy the views. I shattered my iPhone 7 screen and had it replaced at SmartFix, including an upsale of their…read morerecommended screen protector which I was told would shatter instead of the screen for future falls. The colors on the new screen were noticeably different, but not horrible. 3D Touch didn't work very well on the new screen, but again, not the worst loss of functionality. I bought a new case (at another retailer) and went on my way assuming my iPhone 7 was back and as good as ever... wrong. Less than three weeks later, a minor fall shattered the whole screen again. The screen protector is in great shape and didn't help in the slightest. I have to assume the replacement screen is of significantly worse quality than the original, otherwise it was a faulty product or faulty installation. There was no form of disclosure that the repaired unit would be of lesser quality than the original iPhone... the screen display and durability are not up to Apple standards. I wish I hadn't wasted the $100.

They suggested I just replace it again and it was no way I was paying $330 again.
