After some online research (none of the tips fixed it) and consulting my Local At&T store, my screen needed to be replaced unfortunately. This spot was a Yelp find. A small store with accessories (covers, chargers mostly) & some refurbished phones for sale-but it's all about the repairs. I was quoted $129 to replace my iPhone screen. 30-40 minutes for the work. I opted to leave. When I returned my phone was not ready as the Technician noticed my battery was swollen and recommended replacing it. "No thanks as I'm not going to keep this phone much longer." I looked at their price list and noticed there was a budget screen for $95. Ok I'll go with that one instead. Would have been good to mention this in the beginning. Also a 10% discount is available with Yelp check in-didn't see this til after. Service was good and engaging overall with some good information about the repair, etc. My phone is back to pre Light Saber state. Only recommendation would be to give all of the options upfront. When you have the camera it looks as clear as I can remember, thankfully, but on the lenses itself, you can see dust particles and the broken glass from the original lenses underneath. I would have thought the old glass would be cleared completely before putting on a new one but I guess they don't do that. I could have bought a $10/15 lenses repair kit myself off Amazon and done better in my opinion. I just over paid for convenience and hope I can't get my full trade in value for this.. or I just wasted my time/money.

Normally I am not rash, and churlish enough to toss my phone on a carpeted floor expecting it to land safely. No it bounced and hit the frame of a antique sewing machine, so perfectly that it cracked the screen...okay confession over. So this process took a week and 3 trips. I am willing to accept that some of the overall length of time is "supply chain" [they didn't have my screen model in stock]. However my only knock is the said they would call and never did. I called a few days into the wait. Young man said it was there, so I made the trip (not that far, but still not without hassle). When I arrived he looked around (I would argue that should have been done when I called) and was told to come over. All good we all make lazy mistakes sometimes. Young man was otherwise professional and polite. Anyway the work was done correctly, phone looks like new and $100 lesson in being an impulsive dolt was worth it. Lesson learned, get more sleep during the week, get some exercise, manage stress better so you don't have to go through this first world problem, a dumb problem to create for yourself.

The older middle eastern guy said he'd do it for $80, I said that makes absolutely no sense. So he said he'll buy my phone from me for $80 then. I told him to give me some time to think about it so I could have time to back up my phone and do a factory reset and take out my SIM card....I came back the next day and his manager said "we don't buy phones", I said that's crazy, I had an offer last night. I told him who I spoke with and he called him and the guy LIED and said he never spoke to me. I asked the manager where was he and he told me which kiosk he was at. I walked all the way up stairs and found him and said "Why would you lie about the offer?", he wouldn't look at me and said the offer for was 30 minutes and it's off of the table now leave".
