I figured it might be something with the ssd. I bought a new ssd and other components and had them install everything. First off, the wiring was really sloppy. Second, random things that I never had an issue with became an issue after getting it back like when I don't touch the mouse and the pc goes into sleep mode, it won't wake back up. I have to long press the power button and enter through bios everytime. Also, I can't type in the windows search bar, or Netflix search bar or a few others. Idk what's up with that, may be unrelated. Long story short, they had the pc for a good while each time and it's worse than before

I've only had sporadic computer issues over the years and, amazingly, every time I've spoken with him, it's like talking to a friend. He knows his customers! He really saved the day. I started sharing some other issues I'm dealing with, using a different machine. Very slow service and poor communication…read more The diagnostic process took far longer than expected, despite my repeatedly following up for updates. Communication throughout the process was poor, and I was rarely informed about the status of my laptop. In the end, I was simply told that the motherboard was damaged and the laptop could not be repaired. If I just wanted a second opinion that my laptop was broken, I could have gotten one much much faster and at no cost. The experience cost me both time and money, and I was left frustrated by the lack of timely updates and clear communication. I can't comment on the quality of their repair work since no repair was performed, but based on my experience, their communication and turnaround time need significant improvement.
