BETTER THAN STAPLES!!! I dropped off a book at Staples because the back cover was almost detached. I was told that because of the large size, if I didn't want to split the book into 2 they would need to send the book out to be rebound because they didn't have the spiral binding that the book already had, and the book would be back in 2 business days. Hours later, I received a voicemail from Staples saying that no other locations had the size binding that I needed and if sent out, the book wouldn't be back until 5 business days later. I decided to call Minutemen Press and after describing what I needed, was told that they would be able to do it. I walked in and was immediately serviced! She presented me with my options, and began to work on rebinding, being sure to confirm as she went along. I was planning to drop my book off but since she began working on it immediately I decided to wait. Great customer service here!! I'll definitely be returning here rather going to Staples. read more

Seriously, they go above and beyond. Juanita, Sam, and Miko took my design and produced a beautiful, crisp product. They took the time to work with me through my proofs and stayed after close to help me meet a deadline when our first approach needed tweaking. This isn't the first time, but this was the most challenging print we worked on due to the rose gold foil. They are timely, excellent communicators and kind. Be really careful if you use this printer. I was misquoted for a job --$480 versus $1200--HUGE DIFFERENCE! They admitted that a new person on the job made the error and still demanded that I pay an extra $200 for the job. They missed my deadline and were extremely unprofessional. They committed to do something that they can't deliver and then Juanita had the nerve to tell me that the shop was closed, even though she told me that the job would not be ready until 6, their closing time. She told me that something was wrong with my artwork instead of trying to solve for the problem. When pushed, she figured it out but if I had not been standing in front of her, it wouldn't have happened. You can't buy integrity or class. This is like doing business with Trump-no truth, no integrity, placing blame. Not cool! Drove 20 miles in traffic to support a Black-owned business to have to deal with this craziness. To top this off, when I got home and opened the box, the majority of my brochures were folded improperly. Juanita showed me a sample of one perfectly folded. That is one of five out of the 1000 brochures. They had a week to complete this job and it is a total disaster. If she gives me a hard time about re-doing the Job, you will hear more from me. read more

Minuteman Press in Largo Md. just did a beautiful job on my anniversary invitations. They sent me the proofs and finished the job on the day they said it would be completed. I didn't have to call them, they called me. The invitations are exactly the way I wanted them. I had photos added and a couple of challenging things done. Oh...WHERE do I even start with this company smh. First of all, if you're a SMALL business you may not want to come here because they're clearly understaffed and make enough money off of bigger companies/projects and won't appreciate or value your business enough to make it a priority. At least that's the impression I was given throughout MY ordeal with Minute Man Press. I believe 12 shirts minimum for screen printing at $212 is a decent first order and I would have ordered more because of the overwhelming feedback I received about my shirts but I was forced to find another vendor TWO days before my event on a sat. Sept. 23, 2017 to be exact but I was told I couldn't get my shirts until AFTER the date of my event which would be 9/25/17 or 9/26/17 I mean what good would that have done me? Smh. So let me take it BACK for you all. Somewhere prior to 9/5/17 I called on the phone to inquire about getting shirts made (I'd walked past the location and noticed it was a BLACK owned business and instead of shrieking and running away this inspired me to give them a try) so when I called I spoke with Tiara the graphic design person and she was so nice I decided to come in maybe a week or two later. Upon arrive to the office on 9/5/17 I met Tiara in person who was very busy but I was also able to meet Miss Trudy and Juanita (the owner) in the shop as well. They had me email my logo along with the type of shirts colors sizes blend etc over to their email so they can "put together a quote". I was also told by Juanita the owner, that I would receive that quote by the end of the day, that day, 9/5/17 (which I wasn't even expecting) however, after a few repeated emails I was FINALLY sent over the FIRST quote (mind you this is just wasting time) on 9/8/17 (3 days after what was promised to me). I believe now that this should have been a sign of what type of service I could expect to receive moving forward but I didn't look at it as such at the time and decided to just press forward. Later, i decided to change the type of printing I wanted done and also lowered the qty from 15 to 12, and it took another 3 Days and a couple more phones calls to get that quote sent over to me. By this time, it's 9/12/17 and my event where I'll actually NEED the shirts in hand is 9/23/17 so you can understand the prsssure and my dilemma, RIGHT? Okay, so, they finally send over the price quote I go in on Sept. 13 to actually finally place my order. At this time I told Juanita my event was on 9/23/17 and she ASSURED ME that my shirts would definitely be all done by then and she even promised to send me a sample of how the shirt will look that evening. Needless to say I NEVER received that sample so I began to wonder if my order was even being worked on. So a few days later, I went in to their office on my way to work. Juanita again, the owner was helping another client. At this time Trudy walked up next to her at the counter and inquired about my visit and I told her I was checking the status of my order as I was running out of time and I even raised my voice when I mentioned "Miss Juanita told me she'd send me a sample of which I never received as of yet" to which Juanita never chimed in replies or anything just simply kept on about her business doing whatever it was that she was doing. Again,Trudy promised me that she would "look in to it" and give me a call back. NOT a satisfactory response to a worried customer who's looking to launch a new business and STARING at the possibility of not having any product because of the non responsiveness from their VENDOR Minute Man Press of Largo. Needless to say AGAIN I NEVER received an email, call back, text or even a smoke signal to inform me of the status of my order. I had to send an email DIRECTLY addressing Juanita on SEPTEMBER 20TH!!! Three days before my event expressing myself and my disappointment with the complete disregard for my concerns and even the desire to properly handle my business matters. I was brushed off via email and Juanita finally called me later on that night somewhere around 9:30 PM to "break the news" which was I'm looking at Monday or Tuesday AFTER my event to get my shirts but she'd "try her BEST" to get them to me sooner. Nope, of course this wasn't satisfactory but I let her think I'd be moving forward for the moment. As soon as I hung up the phone, I called a smaller local guy who just does shirts on the side and explained to him my dilemma and told him I needed help. He gladly accepted my offer to help me out and started making samples for me THAT NIGHT 9/21/17 and on 9/22/17 he'd brought samples to my job and on 9/23/17 I had 12 shirts in HAND and only paid for 9 because he gave me the rest as samples. Once I knew Al could help me that Wednesday night I called Juanita RIGHT back and told her I'd be coming by to get my money back. So that Thursday, 9/21 when I got off I went by there and got my deposit BACK and this was the easiest thing since starting. read more
