I will say the customer service has never been an issue for me. However, this is the second time I have mailed items / returned amazon purchases at this location only for Amazon to tell me they did not receive the item in the envelope. I will never do a return at this location going forward which is unfortunate because I am in the shopping center most weekends and this is the best location for me. I absolutely love this store. Customer service is superb and they are always willing to assist you if you have an issue. There is a lot of traffic that goes through this store and I'm sure people that come here can be a pain. You always receive excellent service here. Service is always amazing when I go here. It can get packed but they always keep the line moving. I usually opt to make my Amazon returns here and the process is so smooth. I returned a lot of items this morning to a few different stores and the rep, I think his name was Aiden, helping me was so friendly and patient. One of my Amazon returns required the label to be printed and I thought I would have to go elsewhere to print and comeback but he informed me I could email the store and he printed it out for me and got it packaged. Came here on a weekday during my lunch. Had a great experience. The line was kinda long but I didn't wait longer than 5 minutes or so. The store was fully staffed and had a person at every station. I needed to print something and was provided the email address and given the label immediately. I didn't even need to tape the label on, he did that for me. You know some places make you pay or fight for tape. Definitely recommended. read more

I had no idea that this store was located here until I needed to make a return. Located in Woodmore Town Center, not as easy to spot from the traditional entry ways. Parking is alright for the area, it can get crowded. You have the option to have items delivered there or have a box of needed. I simply needed to drop something off. The staff was super friendly. The staff at this location are extremely nice and helpful as well as the store manager! The male employees that I've encountered here are patient and have positive attitudes. Except for 1 female employee, she is the older employees with an accent.. I come here regularly and often encounter her.. she does NOT know how to talk to people, her responses are never professional along with her unnecessary rude side remarks. Love this place! I picked this location as my UPS My Choice access place after having my packages stolen after being delivered and left on my porch in my absence. I like the fact that my packages are kept in a safe place until I can retrieve them. I always receive an email when my packages are ready to be picked up. The staff are always extremely friendly and greet you when you enter the store and check out is always a breeze! Updated review! Like I said in my last review, the staff are always friendly and some even know me by name, but the owner or manager Scott seems to always be in a bad mood! I'm updating my review as I sit in the parking lot after coming here to get my package and I encountered Scott. He is never really friendly and it's always an issue with my package when he's here!! If I could rate him he would get 1 Star!! I just cringe when I come in and see him because I know Scott's going to be grouchy! I get that this is a busy location and I think he gets overwhelmed when he sees a long line but it's never ok to be unfriendly!!! read more

I absolutely love this store. I have been using them for over a year now to receive packages and such. Unfortunately, a package delivered to my front door means "come take me away" in my subdivision. It's sad that I have to use a pay service to ensure I receive my packages. However, I am glad that the local UPS store is always a pleasure to visit. The staff is always friendly and greets me by name. When I go I travel, I feel assured knowing any mail delivered will be safe and sound until I return. They also have convenient hours. read more

I shipped out 6 boxes yet one box was sent to the wrong address. Then a month later, I was notified. Once the owner became aware I still had to pay 50% of the cost for an employee's mistake. No ownership!!! The only thing, I was told after a 6 week run around was do you want it shipped or not. The owner is not budging. Wow!!!! This business is only good if you personally have all the information on the box ahead of time. If not, no one knows what is going on. Truly sad!!! read more

I live in Woodmore Town Center so, since 2014, this has always been my go-to location. The staff has always been exceptionally courteous and pleasant and my experience there has been superb. Recently, the owner hired a young woman who is the absolute worst. She has a horrible attitude, refuses to even greet customers, and just responds in such a rude and irritated manner. She has waited on me twice and both times I received the same subpar service. I've contacted customer service and also the owner and I think I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

My favorite UPS Store in the area. It's conveniently located near stores I frequently visit, Wegmans / Costco / Party City. The staff is always so helpful. First and foremost, the Staff at this location is GREAT! Anthony, Denise, Jason and the others go beyond their duties to make customers feel taken care of. My issue is and continues to be Scott (the Caucasian gentleman) who I believe owns the place. Like others here have said, I find him RUDE, Kurt, and disrespectful. I understand the added tension of Covid and the stress it creates, we all feel it. In fact, we we have waited patiently outside in the heat and the rain. I understand the limit of 5 customers at a time. If someone inadvertently enters, say because there is a child with an adult that you don't see, there are courteous ways to remind them. As the owner of the business Clearly Scott needs lessons in customer service. I've seen and experienced his rudeness first hand on more than one occasion. Scott try, "I'm sorry would you mind stepping out so we can maintain social distance"? Not: "who came in last, you have to go outside" EXACT WORDS. Last point, I like others, LIVE in this community. If you have issues with your customers or the clientele you serve, perhaps let your "courteous staff" take care of them and you just collect the checks. This is a "community", not a Plantation. Show some respect and some "gratitude" for those who keep your lights on! Do better. To be clear, this rudeness and disregard for the customers and box renters pre-dates Covid. Do better Scott. The community is watching you and we have options. Your staff keeps me coming back at this point. NOTE: Look at the his responses to these reviews, do you ever see HIM take responsibility, and say "I will do better"? Blame the staff and make excuses. The buck stops with the owner. I have had issues with my local UPS driver for the past two days so I decided to go in and mail my package back. I was met with a employee who was not very friendly or helpful! It is not his job to tell me that he was surprised that the driver came out Two days in a row to drop off my tags because that is not how it usually works! I give this place 1 star for the convenient location but I would rather drive a few miles more to another location for quality service. My husband visited today with an Amazon return; he showed the store clerk the bar code on his phone as we have always. The clerk attempted to scan it then mumbled "Its not working" and proceeded to help another customer rather than taking the time find a resolution for the problem. My husband then waited patiently for him to finish assisting other customers and asked him if he could try scanning the original email return code, he did, and again muttered "I told you it's not working" and turned away. My husband exhausted with the lack of customer service left and drove to another location. Same scenario, return code did not work but the this clerk immediately manually punched in the return code and my husband is happily on his way to run more errands. Management, please train your staff properly. If they run into a issue they should be trained to assist the customer until a solution is found rather than blowing them off with little to no effort. At minimum a smile would be nice. Poor management = poor training = poor service = loss of repeat customer = loss of profit read more

The older caucasian man who claims he is the owner is very nasty, rude, and disrespectful. He doesn't know what he is doing and unfamiliar with UPS my choice service options. The customer service at this store is severely lacking. This store regularly has lines that wraps around the store. While that is annoying, I have a problem with the fact that there is no posted signage outside the store to indicate it's closed when there are customers still standing there. So when I arrived at 6:59pm to see if I could return my package and saw someone outside... I was rudely told "no" by several staff as if this was something I should know. This caught me off guard. Outside of the fact that it would have taken them an additional 5 minutes (if that) to process my package, the way in which they delivered this news was completely off. I don't normally go to this UPS and definitely won't waste my time when I can go to the one in Capitol Hill in DC that has much better service and respectful staff. There is a difference between working somewhere and building relationships with customers and it's clear PG county doesn't give a *%^! about the latter. i've paid for a box with this location for over 5-years. i first had an issue with them day 2, when they entered the wrong door code for me. i immediately addressed the issue, but it wasn't resolve until a year later when they had to reissue everyone's code. in 2020, i received important mail addressed to others but was placed in my locked box by ups staff. item consisted of bank statements and mva documents. i returned all items unopened and addressed the situation with the ups staff. recently i've had confidential info. mailed to me at my ups address. mailing inclued ssn, dob, full name and bank debit/credit card. these items were sent in may and should have arrived last week. needless to say, i have not received them. my urgent concerns and cries for help to ups manager has gone unresponsive. the manager for this location refuses to communicate with me. i am now being force to request a new bank card and ssn. change address, request request/sue for rent refund...basically change my entire life because ups @ 9103 woodmore center drive, lanham, md has shady, non-responsive practices towards their paying customers. don't rent from this location. read more

Since the shipping was already paid for, I just knew I was going to have to pay for "handling." When it was my turn at the counter, I was met with a smile, great customer service and no extra fees. Store is unorganized and do not give customers the proper attention. I went in today a few hours ago to send back a laptop that was purchased for over $1,000. I paid for the boxes, packaging, etc (paypal claim so everything had to be right). I specifically repeated twice that I needed a signature confirmation to the gentlemen working the desk, and he even commented about it while working. He even had my cell-phone to read the Shipping Address and to check to ensure all requirements were met, where it clearly stated items over $750 needed signature confirmation. I get home to submit the Tracking # and found out he did not include the "Signature Confirmation" and now I have been on the phone with UPS hearing how they are unable to upgrade my shipment, I am pleading with paypal to figure out a resolution. Save yourself a headache and go to the actual processing center where they are concerned about your products, refunds, and needs. Now i stand the chance to not only lose a faulty laptop, but if the receiver claims he never received it I will not be granted my refund either. First and last time ever using this store. read more

Just to note: I only use UPS to drop off my pre-paid Zappos box to return shoes. So I can only speak about this particular service of dropping pre-paid items off. With that being said, the staff here is SUPER NICE. They always acknowledge me with a smile and a "hello" AND they ask me if I would like a receipt. I've neeever been asked if I would like a receipt at a UPS store. Like ever. So this is amazing and now my new favorite UPS store when I'm on this side of town. That is all. read more
