Here I am again making another review for this place. I tried again to give them another chance as…read moreI thought maybe it was circumstantial with my previous packages. This time I believe the delay was intentional. I make custom items for people and rely on great shipping services so that's why I choose UPS. Please also note that my husband is a driver for UPS so I know EXACTLY how the shipping process and cut off times work. I know exactly when the stores get swept. On Friday, June 14th, I dropped off a package at this location. I asked the tall slim lady with brunette hair if the store had been closed out/ did I make the pickup for today? She said "why do you care, it's only ground"? These were her words verbatim. Now I just brushed them off because I knew I had made the cutoff because it was way before 6 and the driver was just getting there. Mind you, I dropped off a package a few days before and was told by the short small lady that as long as it is before 6, then all is good. (She's great by the way.) so today I decide to track the package because it should be out for delivery. I know this because I ship to this area frequently. When I look, I see that the package has sat in the store the ENTIRE weekend. That means it didn't get picked up until Monday!! So this store deliberately let this package sit for 2 SWEEPS just because I asked if I made the cutoff. Yes, stores get swept on Saturday too!! My package shows a Wednesday delivery. Now when I bought the label, I was told a TWO DAY delivery. It has ALWAYS taken 2 days for my packages to be delivered to this location. This store has already made me loose the business of a state representative because of their delayed shipping, now I have to refund this order to a client because of nasty staff trying to be funny. Like I said, I've tried my best to give this store the benefit of the doubt, but it is the ABSOLUTE WORST and I do not recommend if you need your packages sent. Go to Prince Frederick. Never had an issue with that location ever!! Also, for the comment that the manager made below, total BS. I can during the week around 4pm. I know the pickup process. The package was to be delivered on a FRIDAY so how could I come on the weekend?? Make it make sense!! It was your store because that is what the customer service dept for UPS told me when I called in. So just stop.

Terrible and Unprofessional Service…read more USPS in Upper Marlboro has been incredibly frustrating. I was expecting packages today that were too large for my mailbox, but instead of delivering them to my door, the carrier marked my address as "vacant" and returned the items to sender. I literally saw the carrier in my neighborhood. After calling customer service, I was told this particular carrier marks mail as "vacant" if people don't check their mailboxes frequently. That's absurd and unprofessional. Now I have to wait another day for redelivery, all because of laziness or personal assumptions. Completely unacceptable.

I received a call back from who I believe is the owner or manager over the phone he asked me to send pictures which I did. i explained I need this transaction to be no more than $1000.00 and I was assured by him it wouldn't be more than $1500. I explained that if we needed to remove some items to keep the cost low we would be willing to do so. Knowing my budget was of great concern he explained once he had eyes on the items at the storage facility he would give a more accurate price quote. He then told that There was a shipment going out in two days and he would like to have my items on that ship. My initial response was that is such short notice I don't think I can do that. His response was he would give me a 10% discount if I were to make that shipping date. I then agreed to have my items ready for pick up on that Sunday Sept. 14th (we were on the call that Friday evening Sept. 12th). I was able to scramble and arrange to have my items ready for this two day notice pickup. They came to pick up the items however the representative was not there to confirm the cost as I did not receive a call from him as he promised. He purposely was not there so he did not want to give me a price. If he had quoted me $2869 of course I would have said NO and went with a different company. He waited till they had my items in their possession. This is when all the foolishness took place. I received a call on Monday from the office stating that my invoice was ready and they had sent pictures of the items wrapped up on pallets. To my utter disbelief the invoice was $2869. I told the woman on the phone That is not what we spoke about on the phone, your rep. said it would be no more than $1500. She said no and that if I wanted I could pay the rest in two weeks. I told her I don't have that all I have is $1500 and she said she would take that payment. I didn't understand what was happening so I reluctantly agreed. This company is trying to extort me by holding the items and demanding more money than what was originally discussed. I was taken advantage of me they knew I had a budget but still tried to squeeze money out of me. They are current holding my items hostage at the shipping yard in Jamaica 10/8.
