Stop stealing packages!…read more I run a small business and used to drop off my shipments at the Crofton USPS because creating labels at home made it convenient. Unfortunately, I've experienced issues with this location twice, where I believe my shipments were stolen. Without a scan, the items aren't in the system, and I've had to deal with disappointed customers who never received their packages. I spoke with the supervisor, who suggested that packages sometimes just aren't scanned but will still be delivered. However, my experience proved otherwise. I typically drop off 10-12 items at a time, so it's puzzling and frustrating how just one item could be missed if they're altogether. I can't afford to lose inventory and resend items. Due to this repetitive issue, I've resorted to having my home post office, in another city, pick up my packages to ensure every item is scanned. Be warned: dropping off packages here without verifying they've been scanned is risky. I wouldn't recommend it if you value reliability and proper tracking.

OMG, she was so pleasant and helpful, she patiently took care of my documents and gave clear instructions, at the same time assisted other customers just as efficiently and friendly as she did me. It is refreshing to receive this type of service AGAIN! I have gone to several USPS locations in Rockville, Bethesda, Kensington, College Park and now Beltsville. I have to say the service and tone of this Beltsville location is superior than the others. I say it's refreshing because in today's world the type of service we receive is horrible. I just drop them with the clerk and I am certain of two things: He/She will scan it and it will be on the noon truck to processing center. If a customer says my first class package must be here in Glendale, Arizona on Friday then I use this post office to ship it Monday morning out by noon truck to processing center it is at customer on Thursday afternoon. I am very grateful to the postmaster and the clerks that run this post office. They provide exemplary community service.

The have two automated doors to pass through . Then you see to your right they have a drop-off postal box for international mail and PO BOX AREAS too if it wanting it ropped off at their houses.
