The librarians, while sticklers for proper decorum, rules, and lovely quiet, are kind, patient, and good with remembering names and faces. This location, part of the fine Anne Arundel County system, features a decent selection of hardcover and paperback fiction, nonfiction, etc. They have a large and well-displayed kids section featuring books, DVDs, and music. Unfortunately, it seems the book may have been taken instead. What upset me most was the lack of concern from the staff member helping me. When I asked if I could leave my name in case the book turned up, she walked away before I even finished speaking. A little empathy or willingness to help would have gone a long way. Mistakes happen, but the complete lack of accountability or concern is what guarantees I won't be returning.
