I wanted to leave a positive review because I was told the business is struggling, but unfortunately my experience doesn't reflect that. The initial drop-off and consultation went smoothly. However, when I returned at the agreed pickup time, the store was closed at 10:15 AM despite both the door and online hours stating a 9:00 AM opening. I came back about an hour later when the store was open, only to find that none of the alterations had been completed. I was told she was surprised I came so early and had planned to call to ask for more time. This was very disappointing--if the work wasn't going to be ready, I should have been notified in advance, not on the day of pickup. She complained that I came too early in the day. I gave her my clothes over a week ago and she said to come back the following Saturday, not specifying any time. Due to the situation, I requested all of my items back before any work was done. Overall, this was a frustrating experience and not the level of service I expected. I'm going elsewhere. read more

The lady promised that she would give me my clothes back after two weeks, and she said seven articles of clothing to alter her far too much and she'll give me them whenever she was done. The problem was she only gave me three back and almost 2 months later she never finished the other four. She later lied to me and said that she was sick and that's why she could finished it. while another customer was being served, I asked the other customer how long ago was it when she gave the seamstress, her clothes to get cleaned and she said two weeks ago. That does not quite add up to me. I am frustrated. I paid my $31 for the clothes that were tailored. I am very unimpressed with the customer service here. read more

Do not take your clothes to this cleaner for alterations ! I brought in 2 dresses to have hemmed . She kept them for 2 weeks and still did not hem them . She only cut a little fabric off and charged me $55 when I took the dresses back and told her she did not hem the dresses she wanted to charge me half price to cut off more fabric . I will never go back to this cleaner . She charges double the price to hem a dress and really has no set price for anything . One time she will charge me $20 and sometimes $25 for the same service . She got $55 from me for nothing and no customer service to fix the issue . She did not want me as a customer even though I paid the price she asked . read more

The owner is super attentive to our requests and we always have our clothes delivered on-time. In the rare occasions when there was a delay, she would let us know way in advance. I came here to get my brand new suit pieces dry cleaned. The vest piece had two removal metal pieces to the belt buckle. When I got it back one of the metal pieces was missing. I brought it to her attention and she didn't care. She then tried tell me that it was never there in the first place, which is complete BS. I have never even worn the vest.. it was brand new. Really wanted to provide a great review for this place for doing simple alterations but the "sweet old lady" facade quickly disappears when it came to pick up and payment. She becomes the most intimidating person to deal with. The sewing work was just not done with proper attention to detail, with loose threads, double lines, and knots showing. When I asked nicely if she could maybe take a look, she refused pointblank and kept repeating "they do the best and it's the best they can do okay??!" She then explains that she doesn't do the work but her seamstresses do and she doesn't know what they do, "they just do what they need to do. I don't take care of it." This is horrible as she told me what their plan was during drop off, but suddenly during pick up she has no clue. She's super sweet during drop off, and provides a quote that's slightly higher than the price list in store. Which I'm totally fine if she could vaguely explain why. She lowered it when I asked for the reason. During drop off, she just gives total final price, and gets offended when you ask which alteration cost what. She then keeps repeating the price and asking for your form of payment. The most annoying part of all this is how her English language suddenly failed her when she wanted it to, and she kept doing the "thank you have a nice day, no no no okay byeee" walk away to disappear in the back of the shop shuffle. read more

I went to executive cleaners to get a suit and sports jacket fitted. I had gone to 2 tailors before and they simply said that it was not possible to do it because of the size but The tailor at executive cleaners was really helpful. She told me what was possible and priced for the work was reasonable. I went few days later to pick up suit and fit perfectly. She was very good and also very clear about what she was going to do. They completely ripped off one hem from a new pair of trousers during dry-cleaning. They should have inspected the clothing before and after, and fixed the hem. No dry-cleaners should damage your clothing, and this shows lack of attention to detail. They have lost a customer. read more

I have no complaints about their cleaning. For 1-2 dress shirts, it'll cost $2 each. But if you bring in more than three shirts, the cost would be $1.75 each. Turnover time is usually a week. But there were times when my shirts were ready in less than a week. I normally get my pants hemmed here. Most places charge $10 per pants. It's only $8 here, and for better quality hemming. Unfortunately, I'd hesitate to get anything else tailored here. Last year, I brought in my coat to be altered. They quoted me a pretty high price and then suggested that I shouldn't get the alteration done because it's a lot of work and it's not worth it. I ended up taking it to my old tailor and it was done fairly quick at a reasonable price. Bottom line... When it comes to just hemming and (dry) cleaning, I'm still a fan of this place! read more

F***K THESE CROOKS!!! I had to go back on yelp just so they won't be able to do this to other people! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I noticed a stain on one of my shirts and I let the lady ( a very generous word as she was a pretty rude individual) know that it had a stain. She tries to tell me that I paid only for a wash and that stain removal was $3.30! Seriously?! Pay for a stain that wasn't there when I dropped it off? So I inspected the rest of the shirts and found the same stain was on each shirt. This clearly was a machine issue. The bitchy lady didn't feel the same way. She had the gall to instead say that it was oils from my neck. Neck Oils? Reaaaaally? I must have some powerful oils coming out of me to have it be orange and all in one isolated spot of the collar. I never had a problem with this place until now. Definitely gone downhill! I was so upset that I stormed out and left the $1 change I had. I read all the good reviews on Yelp and decided to check them out. I needed to dry clean 2 knee length dresses one I can consider formal and the other could be normal or formal. I had a cake stain on one dress and the other just normal dirty from being worn but nothing noticeable like a stain to look for. The jacket is the same, just dirty from normal wear but nothing noticeable. I was so happy to hear all three items were only $29 [$10 jacket, $10 dress, $9 dress] When I priced places back in Kansas City I would have to pay about $30-35 per dress based on the description I gave on the phone. So I'm a fan based on the reasonable prices they offer. I dropped everything off on Thursday evening and they were to be done on Monday evening, but the lady also mentioned if they needed to they may need to send it back so when I called Monday I found out they needed to send back one of my dresses to be done Tuesday. I picked up my items they look clean and I trust that they are so I give it a 4 Star. I feel bad I cannot give 5 Stars yet because there is not something I can base that judgement on yet. This is because I cannot tell how they really cleaned the items and if they are honestly clean. I believe they are due to other reviewers, but I also know in my past my other friends have gone to other cleaners and it was like they bagged up the clothes to look like something was done but nothing wasn't. Price is good but customer service is sub par. Very often she just ignores your questions, even when they are very reasonable. Her dismissive attitude can be quite annoying. I had gone to other more pricy places because of this. I came back recently but had the same thing happen to me again, leaving me scratching my head. Brought 2 dresses in for alterations at Executive Cleaners on Abel St. Both were to be hemmed and in addition the other one, the straps needed to be shortened. Picked up both dresses yesterday. One of the dress was visibly concerning. It had plenty of snagged throughout the front bodice and was very crinkly. It also had lint all over with various loose threads attached. The straps were not sewn in but was just folded over and stitch giving it an obvious cheap look. I quickly paid and left to another dry cleaning place. Upon arrival to Holiday Cleaners and Alterations located in Calaveras Blvd, I brought the above dresses for price comparisons. The alterations were quoted lower. The seamstress at the Calaveras location offered to steam out the crinkles. When she hung the dress up she noticed dark stains throughout the back of the bodice. This dress just received brand new days prior to bringing for alterations and no stains or any type blemishes observed prior to bringing in for alt. Anyhow, the stains were very noticeable even from a distance. They were definitely created by Executive Cleaners, We couldn't figure out what it was. It appears to look like either from soda or Vietnamese coffee. The threads used for hemming were of a different color therefore seemed sloppy and not matching with the rest of other threads. The other dress, the seems were sewn crookedly giving the unflattering look when worn. Given the above disappointing experience on the shoddy low quality work, I would not trust Executive Cleaners on Abel St. as the work is of poor quality and the seamstress is sloppy and lacked skill compared to other seamstresses. The front desk lady with a buzz cut could not justify the breakdown of the prices when asked. She said she doesn't know the prices as it was set by the seamstress. Wait, she rang me up but could not explain the price breakdown. I should have look and ask for the price when she handed me a blank slip before walking out of the place. Since i don't have to wear a dress shirt to work very often, maybe 1-2 times a week, i usually just drop off 15-20 shirts for her to dry clean and they get them done pretty quick. I guess i had a couple of shirts that i wore in Vegas that were stained, i didn't really notice but it was great to see that they were very detailed in cleaning shirts and asked to keep them one day longer. THANK YOU Executive Cleaners! They saved my butt a few days ago. Had a huge work meeting, and that morning one of the buttons on my dress shirt popped off. I rushed over to this shop, stripped off my shirt, and in less than 5 minutes the lady sewed the button back on, and my shirt was good as new. To top it off, the lady refused to take any payment for this work, even after I insisted. She even refused to take a few bucks as a tip that I tried to offer. I had been trying to find a good dry cleaners around the area and stumbled upon this place via Yelp. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the owner, I'm assuming. She wasn't overly friendly and at the same time she wasn't rude. If anything I guess she was more tired and wanted to be done with the day, which is totally understandable. I had dropped off a few of my Vegas dresses, work pants and boyfriend's dress shirts. She asked me if I can pick up my items in 3 days, which is fine cause I wasn't in a rush. Total charge was under $20 which wasn't too bad at all. I came back to pick-up my clothes and she still had the same tired attitude, which I'm not really complaining about, just a small observation. Service and clothes came out great, however the only reason why I didn't give this place a 5 star rating is that she keeps her business doors wide open and right next door is an Indian restaurant. Some time ago, the dry cleaning place I regularly went to closed down and it's been quite a while since I found a new place I could say I could trust. Well, that time has come. I recently had purchased two new dresses that I could not return and due to some weight loss, these dresses did not fit me as I would like and how they were suppose to look. So I did a search on Yelp to find a dry cleaners that could not only do dry cleaning, but do alterations. I came across Executive cleaners, which had excellent reviews, mostly about dry cleaning, but when I saw that they did alterations as well, I decided to give them a try. Last week, I brought two dresses there to be altered. At first, the lady who was in the store kind of seemed unfriendly, but as we continued to talk and she pinned my dresses for the alterations, she started to warm up. The alterations required were a little pricey, but understandable due to the material and the quality of the clothing I had brought over. Yesterday, I picked up my dresses. The ladies that were in the store were very friendly and even said that they steam cleaned my dresses for me just in case I was planning to wear them out later that night. I thought that was very nice of them to do especially since I did plan to wear one of the dresses. Before I did leave the cleaners, I did notice that they did shoe repair as well. My next task I'm planning is to bring a few pairs of shoes in for repair. It's great to find a place that can take care of not just dry cleaning, but alterations and shoe repair. In conclusion, when I got home, I tried on the dresses and even looked at the stitching / alterations that were done. The dresses fit perfectly and the stitching was remarkable!!!! So I bought my suit online and then when I tried it on realized that waist was too big! Tried to go to the store but they didnt have it available there... I was totally screwed, until I found this little cleaner through Yelp! The lady was super nice and I told her I needed it by Thursday afternoon because I'm flying to Seattle today for a wedding this weekend. Put on the pants, she stuck a bunch of safety pins and said come back Thursday. I was freaking out because what if it didn't turn out right, came in and the suit was nicely dry cleaned. I got to put on the pants and they were perfect! You cant even tell they were altered as well, so I have her a thumbs up! Everything cost 23 bucks for altering the waist on the pants, dry cleaned my suit and a dress shirt. I am totally coming back here now to get all my dry cleaning stuff done. To be honest, I've never dry cleaned clothes in my life. So this experience was my first grown up task. On my 22nd birthday, I wore an all white, brand new, $74 cuffed blazer. I failed to see that it said Dry Clean Only. I also failed to refrain myself from throwing up on my birthday on the way home. I was unaware of how badly I stained my blazer. There were vomit stains all over the place AND a weird black/dirt stain...I think I was leaning on a pole or something outside. Two days later, when I asked my hubby if he had started the laundry, he said my blazer was dry clean only. In a panic, I immediately use my Yelp skills to find the best cleaners in Milpitas. The next morning, I brought my blazer and another suit in for cleaning. I asked the woman if she could save my jacket and she said she'd do her best. She said come back Friday. Naturally, I totally forgot. So on Saturday, about an hour before they close, I race over there and another woman got my order out. AND THERE IS WAS, MY WHITE BLAZER LOOKING THE WAY IT DID WHEN I BOUGHT IT TWO WEEKS EARLIER. There must have been some kind of magic done behind closed doors because I was pretty sure she couldn't fix it. FIVE DOLLARS TO FIX MY NASTY BLAZER? WOW. JUST WOW. I brought my husband's wedding suit and my wedding dress to get cleaned here since they had good reviews. We had an outdoor wedding so my train was pretty dirty. The woman took a look at it and gasped (I don't blame her, it was dragged in the dirt the whole night). I just told her to do her best with it because it WAS pretty dirty and she warned she couldn't guarantee it to be cleaned off completely. Okay, fine. The dress-they did a good job on cleaning off the major stuff, but it's still noticeable that the train is discolored compared to the rest of the dress. Upon closer inspection, you could tell there were spots they didn't pay close attention to and I had to go through each part of the dress, using a tide pen to get the rest of the discoloration out. Also, I found random costume beads stuck on the dress. I guess I expected better for a $50 cleaning job. My husband's suit is another story. The cleaning itself was fine, but when he took the suit out to wear for his office Christmas party, he found a huge split in the crotch. This made me angry because if the split had happened before we took the suit to get cleaned, they should have mentioned it or let us know it was there. If the split happened during the cleaning, then they should have hemmed it up and also mentioned that. Either way, their silence is an admission of guilt. I needed to have a dress shorterned three days before an event - meaning rush job. The shop is clean and neat and there is plenty of parking in that quiet shopping center. She had me change into the dress and pinned it all around. Then she had me check several times to make sure the length was ok. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I called first thing Saturday morning to check to see if it was ready and she said go ahead and come down. Maybe I'm easily impressed because some other shops won't even start on the item until the day it is due. In and out in less than 5 minutes. Dress was perfect. I was willing to pay extra just so I can get them done the same day I dropped them off. They don't do the dry cleaning at their location. They send it out. Solid dry cleaning experience. I took my power pants-suit here for dry cleaning on a Wednesday as I needed it for the following Tuesday morning. The lady initially told me with would be ready Tuesday evening, but when I suggested Monday she said it could be ready by Friday without a rush fee. Sweet! It cost $10 at pick up and was satisfactory. One thing I did notice was that my pants (with lining) were ironed and creased without the inside panels of the outer layer opened so upon close inspection one would notice the lines were asymmetrical. Certainly, no one would scrutinize my pants to this extent, but I would expect it from a professional service. I would come back for future dry cleaning (unless I find another viable option in the area that is eco friendly). read more
