Very speedy, no-frills type of place! My husband and I have been patrons since we moved to Milpitas last year. After our wedding, I asked if they were able to dry clean my wedding dress. I loved that they were honest and said it had too many details for them to do so, versus attempting and potentially ruining the dress. They did dry clean my husband's suit well. He has also dropped off several other pieces, and has always been satisfied. Most recently, I brought in a multi-layer chiffon bridesmaid dress for length hemming. Holiday Cleaners provided the best rate and had this completed next day! (I brought in the dress Tuesday morning and they said it'd be completed after 5pm on Wednesday.) The only qualms I have are that the hours are short - they close at 6pm which is a struggle with work, as well as a small, cramped parking lot. Zero stars if I could. Horrible service. Extremely rude & unprofessional. They ruined my dress and gaslighted me saying I brought in the dress already ruined. Super unprofessional and disrespectful, saying that I brought in an old, dirty, messed up dress. (this dress was brand new, still in the package with the tag still attached). They refused to compensate me for the dress, after I had already paid for the dry cleaning & tailoring fee. I gave them my receipt of purchase for my dress, and they refused to pay the price I paid. TWO WEEKS later they eventually paid me but only paid me a "sale" price (which is only half the price I paid for) they found online of a DIFFERENT dress. BIG MISTAKE!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! Dry cleaning service is TERRIBLE or they charged and did not even bother to dry clean my items. Price would have been affordable but it does not help because the COATS WERE STILL DIRTY. Owner is rude. Details: I called in to check how much they charge for a coat. The lady on the phone gave a price but told me a more expensive price when I got to the store. I agreed anyway since she might have seen the designer brands of my jackets. 2 days after, I came to pick up my jackets. The good thing is that I verified if the coats were clean before leaving. I found Jacket #1 still dirty. I showed the owner the dirty parts which would have easily been removed after 2 days. She said she'll have it cleaned up again and asked me to come back the next day. I agreed. She marked them with yellow tape. I left the store. Just as when I was going to my car, I took out the other jacket and found a lot of lint. I decided to go back to the store and showed her lints on my jacket. She tried to scrub it with a lint brush. It added more lint to the jacket and told me "see..." I told her that's not what she should be using, she should use a lint roller, the sticky one. She took one out and started to scrub. Sure enough the lint was slowly taken out. She stopped after doing a sleeve. She said that's not her job. And so I said "Give me the lint remover". I started to clean up my own jacket. I was upset since I was a paying customer. After doing one side, I decided that THIS IS UNFAIR. I should have taken it to another shop instead of Holiday cleaners. At this point, I politely asked her for a refund since I am an unhappy customer. She disagreed since she told me they already cleaned the jacket. "But the jacket is not clean and I'm not happy with the service" I said. She agreed to give me half the price I paid. I told her to roll back the full transaction since I would have to take the jackets to another cleaner and would have to pay full. She became rude and talked to one of her people. I insisted that she roll back the transaction but she disagreed. She just gave me half of the price. To be fair, I checked if the spots were stains. I was able to clean them up when I got home. They were not stains. DO NOT waste your time and money. NEVER GO HERE. read more

I've had trouble getting bridesmaid dresses altered. Materials are not easy to work with so bunching occurs or not measuring correctly so it's too short, etc. A friend recommended this place and the owner listened to my concerns and what I wanted. I dropped my dress off on Friday at 6 pm and it was ready for me Monday morning. The dress I have has multiple layers and the bust needed to be taken in (zipper removed and re-sewn on). I had been putting off getting my wedding dress cleaned for 6 months. I finally chose Holiday Cleaners because it was close-ish to home, had good reviews, and did not charge an arm and a leg. Well let me tell you...you get what you pay for. I drop my dress off and come pick it up a week later. When I went home, I was getting ready to hang the dress up in my garment bag when I noticed large blue stains on the bodice and the sides of the dress as well as some smaller yellow stains that were not there before. I was furious. I mainly wanted them to clean the bottom and the train of the dress (from wedding day) but when I got the dress back, although the bottom of the dress was acceptably clean, there were NEW stains that completely ruined the dress. Unacceptable. I immediately gave a call to the cleaners and the owner told me to bring it back so she can redo it. I went through the hassle of driving back to the store, and although I really wanted to cuss them out, I didn't. Another week goes by, and this time I bring my hubby to pick it up because I wanted to inspect the dress on the spot. The blue and yellow stains were gone, but I noticed a snag at the bottom of the dress that again, was new. At this point, I was tired and I didn't want to bring it up anymore, since there was not much more that could have been done since the damage was permanent. I am only thankful that I had already worn the dress on my wedding day so I technically wouldn't be "needing" it. 1 star for the extra stains and snags +1 star for attempting to fix it. The owners are really nice people but I wish they had done a better job or paid more attention - they are in the business after all. read more

Amaziiingg customer service!! I called 5 places to help me do a last minute alteration at 530pm that I needed for my bridesmaids dress. The wedding was the next day in Yosemite so I had to get it done that night. Everyone said no way impossible. Kim however was like yes! We can do it come in now. They close at 7 so I rushed on over and got there around 545. She measured me and told me to come back by 630 if not earlier. I was shocked out how fast it could be considering everyone else was saying otherwise on the phone. I came back at 630 and the dress was already done. So that must mean it was done in less than 45 minutes!! And the hemming was great!! It was perfectly balanced and the right exact length. Everyone was very nice there, accommodating, and so sweet. I was truly grateful they were able to get me in so late and I recommend this place to anyone. It's a small little place that seems like a hole in the wall but definitely worth your visit. First time at a dry cleaners and Holiday Cleaners was a good first experience. The ladies in there were very friendly and helped me tailor my suit jacket and pants. I came in on Monday and my items were ready by Wednesday. Once I tried on my jacket again at home, I noticed that one of the jacket sleeves is shorter than the other. While the difference is minimal, it's not the desired look I wanted. It may have been because she only measured one sleeve and not the other (that was longer)?
