Dropped off two tops to be sewn, and the entire process was easy with friendly service from staff. Not the quickest turnaround time considering such small fixes (brought my garments in on Friday, and the quoted ready date was the following Wednesday), and the cost was $10 apiece, higher than what comparable tailors and seamstresses charge. At least they accept credit card payments, which is convenient since I don't like carrying around cash. No issues with quality of their work. Came in on Monday to drop off 3 men's shirts to be altered like my Abercrombie cropped shirt ($20 a piece....) and 1 men's xL shirt to be altered like the Uniqlo women mini t shirt ($45....). I knew that it was a mistake on my end for not asking for the price beforehand, because Kim was really kind and i trusted him. But I've talked to a lot of people about this and they told me that I was scammed with the pricing. I paid a total of $105 for all 4 T-shirts to be altered which cost more than all the t-shirts itself. I'm not gonna lie they did a really good job, but I feel like other places would've done a good job as well for half the price. Safe to say that I will be asking for prices beforehand (it was my first time getting something altered) and I will never come back after that pricing. Also when I dropped it off on Monday I came 30 min before closing and they told me that they would just call me to let me know when it was finished. And yesterday (friday) I had to call to ask if it was ready because it had already been 4+ days without any call, and a lady had told me that it's been ready for pick up. Idk they were both really nice people but I really feel scammed of my money especially, because for the 3 men's t-shirt only the bottom of the shirt was just cut off to fit like the Abercrombie shirt (not worth $20 a shirt.). read more

This is a small dry cleaning store that has been in business for a while. I always take my dresses there to get altered. All of my dresses have come back well done and are a good fit. The pricing isn't bad but they did go up in price. This makes sense because everything is expensive now, but I rather support a small business and pay an extra $5. Definitely recommend getting your alterations and dry cleaning done here! They are really nice! read more

If you are looking for a place to alter your clothing and dresses fast and for a good price, you have found it! This review is so long overdue! Way back during the summer before my junior year of high school in 2011, one of my friends asked me to be a part of her cotillion court. Thankfully, she had chosen the dress, all I had to do was order it. Since it was from a dress retailer in China, I wasn't sure what my size would be! I ordered a size 8 because the site said "order two-three sizes up from your dress size". Since I was so young, I hadn't owned a dress yet so I guess it would be three sizes up from my pants size (size 2)...omg I was so wrong! I definitely learned my lesson on ordering clothing online since then hahaha. Anyways, my mom and I took my dress here to fix it. Luckily the length was just right, it was just very loose on the side! I was worried that it wouldn't be able to be fixed, but I shouldn't have worried because Kim reassured me that he would be able to alter the dress. There were so many layers and fabric, that it had to be taken in twice. I thank Kim and Tammy for their patience though. Since the dress came from China, shipping took awhile and by the time I got it, I only had about a month to have it altered (which isn't a lot of time considering it was altered twice). If not for them, I don't think my dress would of looked so nice as it did for my friends cotillion. To wrap it up, I trust my dresses with Kim and Tammy! They do very high quality work and quickly too. They're also very friendly and welcoming into their little shop. My mom and I were also thankful that despite all the issues with my dress, they surprised us with a little discount. Ever since then we've been faithful customers! I highly recommend this shop and look forward to posting a picture of the next dress they're altering for me later this summer! read more

This place lost $400 worth of clothes!!!!! I came into the store to pick them up and they couldn't find them. They assured me that the clothes weren't lost and that they would call me later when they find them. The owner called me later that day and said that I picked them up a week before, on a day that I wasn't in town.... WHAT??? I asked her why I would come in today if I picked them up a week earlier and she automatically assumed that I'm trying to scam her, even though she's the one who lost my clothing and won't admit to it. I told the owner that I needed my clothes or that I needed to be refunded and she said, "you have your clothes, no money, that's your problem".... Unbelievable! She made a mistake and said it's my problem to deal with! I've been to a lot of dry cleaners in my life and I've never seen any business as terrible as this one. DON'T GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! I am a regular customer and I got over 5+ dresses for alterations and 10+ suits/shirts for dry cleaning here. I am sadden that I have to end my relationship with them with a recent unprofessional encounter. I would stop recommending my friends and family to come here. They did a poor job with my recent dress and made assumptions and excuses that I lost weight resulting in me not fitting the dress. I brought in two dresses and was able to fit in the other one but not one. If I lost weight, I would not be able to fit into both dresses. My weight have always been consistent. I brought my dress in a month early so I don't need to rush to get it altered. And I know my body and that getting it altered a month early shouldn't have such a significant difference in measurement. I have many dresses months early for alterations before and there was no issue. The pass dresses that I have brought it also still fit perfectly and those have been altered earlier this year and in 2020. I am very upset that they try to make excuses for there unprofessional work. I have to end up paying twice because they did not do it correctly the first time. I feel cheated and scammed. I will never come here again and will bring my business elsewhere. read more

i had a great experience with this place. i recently had to get a bridesmaid dress altered and went to them because i saw the reviews said prices were pretty affordable. I consider myself extremely asian when it comes to paying for things, so i didn't think their pricing was that affordable, but others told me it was pretty good, so maybe i'm just too poor to live in the bay LOL i paid 25$ to get the dress shortened and 15$ to get it pressed. the dress looked great when i got it back so no complaints there. the couple (i assume) who helped me were really sweet also. read more

All you have to do is look at the picture and you'll know the reason why I gave 5 stars. Closest one to my house and that picture is one of the many reasons I keep coming back. I've had so many awesome experiences that the prices don't even matter at this point, even though I know for the fact that they won't rip me off. I don't get my shirts washed bc the dark ones fade and get damaged. I pay extra to dry clean them. Upon dropping off my clothes I asked the gentleman twice to ensure these will be dry cleaned and not put through the washer. He assured me they would be done as requested. I picked up today and the different edges of my dark shirts looked faded - around the pockets, collars and cuffs. This is the exact outcome I was trying to avoid by repeatedly asking for them to be dry cleaned. One of my shirts was not even pressed properly - the creases on the sleeves were mangled and someone forgot to finish the job. When I pointed this out to the male employee, he didn't seem to care. He told me everything looks good. When I insisted this is a problem that my shirts have been washed and another has not been ironed properly, he offered to iron the sleeves while I wait. Ignored my complaint about the dark shirts looking faded. At that time a female employee appeared from the back of the work area and addressed me directly in a semi-aggressive manner saying there is nothing wrong with my shirts and they are fine. I pointed out that she had not even seen the issue I identified so she can't claim nothing is wrong. She continued to make the same claim and then started addressing me in a foreign language. I'm no expert but whatever she was saying may have been too inappropriate to say to me in English. She continued this behavior until after I paid and walked out. Still she followed me to the parking lot. I wasn't sure of her intentions and feared she may attack me with her wire coat hangers. Luckily I was able to get in my car before this progressed further. My shirts still have pet hair on them that could easily be removed with a lint roller but they didn't use one. And there is a tear/damage on the sleeve. Smh. Look at the photos and judge for yourself. With the poor customer service, poor quality of dry cleaning, three days to get 5 shirts ready, and the threatening act of following a customer outside, I would not recommend patronizing this establishment. read more

Upon picking up my last alteration, the guy working there was kind enough to tell me that my alterations did not take much work and gave me a discount on the spot. Finally! A great quality & affordable Dry Cleaner in Milpitas! I've used this Dry Cleaner twice and am always impressed with their quality of cleaning & pressing. I used to take my clothes all the way to Mountain View, but I became unsatisfied with the quality I was receiving. So I tried another place in Milpitas, but I didn't want to pay $6 to have my slacks dry cleaned. Drop N Go Cleaners is great! Regular price is $2.50 per item and they do a great job. As much as I love Kathy's Cleaners and chatty Kathy, I don't want to pay $6 per item. So I gave this little place at try. At $3 an item, DNG Cleaners did a surprisingly good job. My clothes smelled like fresh flowers, not chemicals. I hope it's due to the "eco-friendly" procedure stated on their website. Service was very friendly. However, I wanted them to stitch up a hole in my destroyed jeans, but the cleaner guy had a hard time understanding me after several explanations. Eventually, I opted out of the stitching so I can go to Kathy's where there were less communication barriers. For the price and quality, I'm definitely coming back for dry cleaning. read more

I now have to deduct an additional star...last week I was wearing a pair of Express brand pants (quality brand) that I got altered here and later that day at the gym, when I was changing...I discovered that the seam from the alteration (located on the booty area of all places) had COMPLETELY opened up--and I had been walking around like that ALL DAY. The only saving grace I had was that I had worn a long cardigan that day--thank goodness! I was pretty shocked and disappointed...I don't think I have ever had that happen with something that was 'professionally' altered...it happened a lot when I was in high school and did my own alterations on my clothes, lol...but that's why I pay someone to do it now. Mostly good but then over-charge occurred... I've had shirts laundered and dry cleaning done here for 5+ years...and even though the owner cannot remember my name, I have not had any pblms before. Then last week the owner charged me $3 (the dry cleaning price) when I picked up my business shirts that get laundered ($1.50). So the bunch of shirts was $18...not he $9 I was expecting. And he argued with me when I said that I want the next bunch of shirts only laundered and not dry cleaned. When I asked why he suddenly charges $3 for shirts, the owner said 'these shirts should be dry cleaned.'...that is not true. Maybe he has spent too much time sniffing the chemicals! I then said wait a minute, you are over-charging...but he made some comments and stood there without apology or price adjustment. I see other people are having same problem...perhaps there are other reasons this guy is under stress? Well, sorry, he needs to treat his customers politely and respectfully. So I'll be looking for another shop to get my stuff cleaned. Too bad, it was good up til this. read more

It is very displeasing to have to write such a bad review, but feel it is necessary as I have had two, very poor experiences with Drop N Go. I thought the first may have been bad timing or an anomaly, but after the second experience I know I will go elsewhere. The first visit was simply poor communication on their part, and while frustrating I understood their position. My second experience though was quite different. I had a sport coat taken in for alterations, and was measured right on the spot at Drop N Go. I was very pleased with how we 'pinned' the jacket in Drop N Go, and was really excited to finally have it fit correctly. I waited a week, as instructed, and then picked up my jacket. Upon trying it on, the jacket was NOT how it was measured and pinned at Drop N Go the previous week :( I brought this to the attention of the owner, and he said to me he 'doesn't make mistakes' and neither does the company they contract for alterations. I was very displeased by this, as he told me I would have to pay ($25) to have the jacket taken in again. Why am I paying for somebody else's mistake. We are all human, and mistakes will happen, but asking me to pay full price for another alteration for something that was no fault of my own is just ridiculous. I was not mad that the alterations came back wrong, mad that I was asked to pay full price and told in essence, I made the mistake. How did i make a mistake, you measured me...i didnt measure myself. While this place is close to home, I'll definitely drive the extra distance to have quality customer service and deal with a company that can own up to their mistakes. read more

This Cleaner is so outdated. They still use a hand writing receipts. In my second try, they misplaced my silk blouse worth $300 from Theory with something else. I returned the item not mine and requested to find mine. After 4 weeks waiting, they still couldn't locate it because nobody returned a misplaced item. Guess what? The owner says their indemnification policy is to pay 10times of the fee they received no matter how expensive missinf item is. So they pay $30 for missing my $300 blouse. The owner says they will return the item if their customer return it but I have a doubt. I am not going back but want to warn ppl not to leave an expensive item on their hands because it can be lost and then the owner smiles and pay $30 and be done with it!!! read more
