5 Stars all day long. They are friendly, affordable and efficient. They've made a repeat customer out of me.

When my former dry cleaner suddenly closed, I had to find a new place nearby. After trying a couple of other shops, I didn't feel comfortable with their work -- most were small operations without their own dry-cleaning equipment. I found 888 Cleaners on Yelp, gave them a try, and I've been coming back weekly ever since! The staff is always friendly, parking is easy, and their prices are very reasonable. What really stands out is their honesty -- instead of automatically marking everything for dry cleaning (which can get expensive), they actually check each item to see if washing and pressing is a better and more affordable option. If you're looking for a new dry cleaner, want to save a little money, or just want great service you can trust, check out 888 Cleaners. They've definitely earned my loyalty! read more

Service is considerably better when an older nicer lady is present at the counter. And the quality of their work is always very good. I trust my clothes at their hands. read more

I've been going here for a few months. Their prices are reasonable, and my clothes always come out clean and fresh. I also had some of my pants tailored here and was very happy with how they came out. I'll continue to use their services read more

888 Cleaners - 888 Cleaners - Laundry Services Near Me - Milpitas, California

Came in yesterday after work to get my sisters sweater sewn up. Anticipated dropping it off and picking up the next day. When I walked in I was greeted by Nancy. She took a look and asked if I wanted to wait since it would be a quick fix. I let her know that I'd come back since I didn't have any cash on me at the time. Without hesitation she said don't worry about it and 10 mins later I was walking out with the sweater all fixed up. I've been coming here for years and service has been consistently great from the whole staff. Thanks Nancy I appreciate you. read more

888 Cleaners - Beautiful hem - Laundry Services Near Me - Milpitas, California

My go to dry cleaners in the Milpitas/San Jose area. Super quick and very affordable.

Man this place was way better when it was own by previous owners Lany and Henry, now this place sucks, this new owner is very rude, first, she couldn't find my garments and I helped to find them, I asked to help me to put the garments in the car because I am recuperating from shoulder surgery and she got really mad because she was by herself, and she have more customers, when she came to my car she walked fast ending bumping to me, telling me I made the other customers wait which is not truth. I felt harassed by this lady Christina it is unfortunate that things change drastically just by ownership change. I felt calling the police but I didn't because I am a better person than Christina she is evil. Be careful ya 'all! She talks like sweet like a child, but inside has the devil! She is lucky if I give her one star. read more

Wanted some clothes ironed fast. Dropped off clothes in morning around 9 and they were done by 2:30. It was fast and good quality. Will recommend and be a repeat customer for sure! read more

I can't say enough great things about 888 Cleaners - they got the job done for me under such a short timeframe! The owners are super sweet and are always happy to help out. I had a memorial service to go to in SoCal last month and my boyfriend's suit that he was planning on bringing smelled super WACK. I think when he got the suit dry cleaned at another place, they forgot to air it out before zipping up the cover, so the entire suit had a dirty water/musty smell. We didn't find out until the day before we were going to leave, so I quickly called them to see if there was anything that they could do. They said they were turning off their machine soon, but if I could come in 10 minutes, she would see if they could steam it really quickly. When I got there, I was obviously panicked and she also noticed the smell too and asked me what time I needed it by - 8 am the next morning. I don't know what they did, but they worked their cleaning magic into my boyfriend's suit LOL, she had it ready by 7:45 am, all clean and pressed with NO LINGERING SMELL at all. I was so happy that they were able to turn it around in such a short notice. So reliable and satisfied with their service all the time! I always get my dry cleaning done here now, since I've been working from home and my old dry cleaners is out in Mountain View. read more

This shop is truly a mom & pops store. I took my wedding dress, husband's suits and other items to get them dry cleaned & was very satisfied with the price and quality of service! I called around and other dry cleaners were charging way more for wedding dresses. The folks here are nice, reliable and affordable! Little did I know that my husband had also used their service years ago when he lived in Milpitas and was extremely happy too. read more

First time customer and I'm very pleased with their service. I brought in a pair of silk dress pants that had alcohol spills on the crotch area and I was told that it would be very difficult to remove the stains but they would try. I came back and the stains were GONE. Amazing. I've been told that the material was difficult to clean but they must have done some magic because the stains are gone. My $150 pants were brand new again and I can't wear to wear them again. read more

Absolutely the best service ever! They were able to hem my pants super fast and it only costed me about $25. Loved the customer service and communication. I got a text letting me know my pants were ready for pickup and was sooo excited. I loved that I didn't have to call to find out. I recommend this place to everyone! read more

I've never gone to a dry cleaner before but my new clothes required me to. The people here were pleasant to meet. I was able to pick up my clothes the next day and I feel like they looked better than when I first got them! read more

My go to dry cleaners! I never write reviews but after what I witnessed today I couldn't help myself. This woman ended up backing up the line and causing unnecessary drama. The owner, Christina took this in stride though, never impolite with the customer even juggling the rest of us in line waiting. Props to Christina for how she handled that situation with the grace of an angel, because lord knows I personally wouldn't be able to. read more

10/10 customer service! I will definitely be back to this mom and pops store. I had a bridesmaid dress that shipped late, needed them to tailor it on short notice & my old tailor wanted to charge extra so I looked this place up. I tried on the dress, she pinned me exactly how I wanted it & it was soooo much more affordable than other quotes I got. Picked up the dress 4 days later and it fit perfectly. read more

They altered my clothes in good quality and price is competitive. Usually they finish in one or two days.

888 Cleaners is my go-to spot for alterations, dry cleaning, and making my stains disappear as the clumsy person I am. I have come here on several occasions.. - Have my prom dress taken in - When I threw a red sock in with a white romper.. - Spilled coffee on a white dress They were able to fix everything I needed at an affordable price. Service is always great when I come here. The owners Henry and Lannie are welcoming, understanding, and super personable. 888 Cleaners is located off of Park Victoria & Landess in a plaza shared with Wells Fargo and Milpitas STAR Aquatics. There is a private parking lot and parking is usually easy right out in front of the store. Support your local small businesses and try them out! I highly recommend it. read more

Sweetest people to work with and great service. Only dry cleaner I trust. Highly recommend!

Moved to the area recently and needed some dry cleaning done. Found this place on Yelp and thought I'd check them out since there are quite a few dry cleaners in the area. I havent gone anywhere else since. This place stands out because the owner will give you honest advice. One time I went in to get a dress cleaned and he was like you can just wash that yourself and told me how to do it to not ruin the dress. Saved me $15 I was going to spend with him and now I know I can really trust him. Will be going back for all my dry cleaning needs. read more

They always do a good job with my alterations and dry cleaning. Good value and they always get things done on time.

The owner is very nice. Cleaning at reasonable price with good quality.. Very satisfied and happy to recommend it to my friends.

Been going here for years! Can't believe I haven't written a review for this place until now. Our go to spot for dry cleaning services. Prices are competitive. Turn around time is delivered upon the promise date. They also offer alteration services for those who need it. Never had issues with dry cleaning services here. Happy to support a local mom and pop store in the area! read more

Found this place from a recommendation. I had my wedding dress cleaned after the wedding and they did a good job in getting most of the dirty spots out for a cheap price. I was quoted much more at other places. I would definitely recommend this place for dry cleaning! read more

I just got my wedding gown dry cleaned here. My friend told me about this place when I told her I needed to dry clean my wedding gown. I'm so glad she told me about it because they did an awesome job. It took about 9 days to get my gown back and I was impressed. When I brought my gown in, there were some stains on it and they weren't there anymore when I picked up the gown. In addition, my gown wasn't wrinkly and it looked like I just purchased it from a store. You can get your gown boxed, but I didn't want to do that. I'll definitely be back here in the future even though I don't live close by. read more

I have frequented this place for eight years now ever since I moved less than a mile away. The service is great, the cleaning is great, and people are always super friendly and nice. I'll continue to use this business as long as I live here. To clarify something "Nick" posted below, it is not illegal for merchants to have a minimum purchase charge for ATM/credit cards. It was the "Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act" passed back in July 2010 (remember all that legislation surrounding those "too big to fail banks?") Well, this was a tiny little part of a bunch of laws/reforms passed saying merchants can officially do that. Anyway, I love this place and will return again and again for the small amount of dry cleaning that I require. read more

Dropped off my sons' Trues because he ripped a hole in the seam on his bike. They charged me $10 and did a half assed. I asked him if they could put the stitching same color on the seam to make it look better, and he said "We don't have that color thread" who he hell doesn't have this color thread?! Got the feeling he just didn't want to do it. laaaaaaame. Took it to the strip mall behind to Holiday Cleaners and they did the stitching for FREE, took them 5 minutes! Holiday Cleaners review to follow!Never going to 888 again , took them a solid 6 days to do nothing!! read more

888 Cleaners is the best dry cleaning and alterations place I've ever gone. The people are so sweet and their work is as great as their prices. I got my wedding dress altered here beautifully. They are attentive to detail in their cleanings as well as their alterations. I've had them point out potential issues with delicate fabrics, which I appreciated, and they always did a great job nonetheless. The only reason I don't go here anymore is that I moved out of the area, but I miss 888 and highly recommend them. read more

888 took great care of my college regalia when I went in to have it steamed. I've had great success here over the years.

The clasp of my new pants broke and I was devastated. I brought them in to 888 praying they'd be able to repair it. I placed the pants on the counter, showing miss lady the damage. She looked at the clasp, pointed at it, and stated plainly, "That's broken." Yes, I know it's broken. I was wondering if you could fix it. Without hesitation or explanation she told me no and sent me on my way. So minus a star because they couldn't solve my problem. And minus another because she didn't even try to console me when I fell to the ground weeping into my broken pair of once-worn $80 pants. Well maybe that last part didn't exactly happen but I was still pretty upset. read more

I like this place except for one thing. Sadly my brother doesn't like them because of that one thing and won't let me take his clothes there for dry cleaning or laundering ever again. Their customer service is friendly, they let you know the price up front and keep to the deadline or target date they promised to have our clothes ready by. Nothing was wrong with the clothing at all. Superb cleaning job, no smell. The prices are very reasonable. Got all my garments back, nothing missing. The only problem for us was the fact that they stapled colored number tags to our shirts, pants, etc. This is the only thing that bugs us. I do not want my clothing stapled/pierced/punctured in any abnormal manner that it wasn't meant to be. I also do not want to be picking off stapled tags when I need to throw on my work clothes and get to work. If they could stop with the stapling of things/tags to my clothing, I would rate this place 5 stars. The parking lot is a pain though! Be prepared to park further away and carry your clothes to the store. read more
