This was my first time getting my own clothes dry cleaned. I avoid it as much as possible, but there's a first for everything. Since it was my first visit, take this review with a grain of salt because I don't have anything to compare it to. This place made my first dry cleaning experience so efficient that I just wanted to leave an informative review for anyone looking for dry cleaners. Prices: Dresses $6 Blazers $5 Pants $3 Jackets (peacoat) $6 Dress shirt $3 Prices are flat so for 3 pairs of pants, 2 dresses, 1 coat, 1 blazer & 1 dress shirt, it was exactly $35, which seemed extremely reasonable to me. Turnaround: 2 days! I dropped off everything on Tuesday right before they closed and picked it up on Thursday also right before they closed, ready on the exact day they told me. My boyfriend who has been here before anticipated a 3 or 4-day turnaround so the 2-day notice was nice. He actually said he's had same-day service, too. It probably depends on types and number of garments. Service: I'm no expert and my clothes weren't disgusting to begin with, but my clothes seem overall fresher to me so thumbs up in that department. I had no serious stains to remove so no words on that. The girl who helped me both times was quick and seemed friendly from what I could tell during our short encounters. I was rushing to pick up my clothes on Thursday evening at 6:15pm. They close at 6:30pm and I was afraid they might be the type of small business to close JUUUST a little early so they could get home as soon as possible. I got there at 6:25pm and there was no sign of them moving to close up shop for the day. Yay, got to pick up my dry cleaning. Smooth transaction all around. Give them a try. Updated: Had to take off a star because they broke the button on my friend's blazer. I feel bad that I didn't notice this beforehand. Reasonable dry cleaning prices. $6 for coat or dress. I was quoted double at another place. The owner was very honest about what she is able to do. She even called to inform me about a button that was missing from my coat. They also patched the crotch rips for my J Brand jeans for $10. read more

888 Cleaners is awesome! I have a weird schedule and I hate waiting around in a laundromat, so I thought I'd give dry cleaning and wash/fold services a try. I was feeling pretty sheepish about not doing my own laundry, but the lady working there was so friendly and cute. It made me feel good and confident that I would be well-taken care of. I was kind of in a hurry to go finish other errands, so I left things in her good hands and went about my day. She took the liberty of separating washables and dry cleaning and everything was pressed, folded, and ready within a couple days (I had a big basket that was pretty packed.) She provided a nice bag for my folded clothes and all my shirt and pants were hanging and looking crisp. I'm super happy with the results and the price was as awesome as the quality of work. Still the best service around with great pricing. And OMG they have the best repairs evaaaaarrrr. My jeans had crotch rips like I had been attacked by a rabid raccoon and they patched it up neatly and just the way I needed it. They even worked with the denim that I had provided them. 21 oz denim ain't nothing to F with and they know their clothes. 888 Cleaners is my go-to place to get my jeans and dress shirts hemmed. What I like: - Their hemming services. I always bring my jeans and dress shirts here if I need them hemmed. I've never used their dry cleaning services so I can't comment on it, but I wouldn't hesitate to come to them for that either. - The staff is easy to work with and prompt. I admit my hemming needs are pretty simple, but it's nice to have people who can understand your request without much explanation. Dropping things off is always quick. I go in, tell them what I need, get pinned (if needed for the jeans), get a pick up slip, and off I go. I love 888 Cleaners!!! If you live in Milpitas and need a dry cleaning place, you must visit 888 Cleaners. The couple is so nice. It's super fast service too! You can do same day pick up and there's no additional charge! I trust them with my most expensive clothes (I don't trust most places because they often ruin my clothes). They have a little area (curtain) where you can change in case you want to hem your clothes. I always come to them to hem my vegas dresses to make it shorter :). It's 12 dollars each to hem dresses. I also mainly come here to dry clean my jeans which is about $3/each :D. They accept credit cards which is a good thing for me!!!:D. I always carry extra cash though so I can tip them. read more

Been going here for over a year for my dry cleaning and tailoring. Love their service. The family that owns the cleaners is very friendly and helpful. They exceed my expectations for my denim repair and customization. I've taken alot of different types of raw denim (flathead, sugar cane, nudies, apc) to get rips in my crotch, back pockets and other areas of stressed repaired. The repairs are very strong and of good quality. What really surprised me was their ability to flawlessly attach the orginial bottoms. I've been able to get many jeans with chain stitching and other sorts hemmed without a probl They are extremely knowledgable. WOOHOOO! i just put my raw denim 501's through a wash (not the machine, just in the tub) after wearing them for almost a year without washing, and they came out beautifully, however i had a small crotch blow out/rip/tear thing, and was afraid to wear them because it would make it worse. the people here were really friendly, and they took care of the tear, patched it, made it look brand new for 5 dollars, then said 4 dollars was ok! CHEAP AND RELIABLE! they did it in 5 minutes for me!!! like most asian owned places though, they require a minimum fee for using ur credit card (which is illegal), so make sure u bring cash if ur paying under 15$!! read more

This is the only dry cleaners I ever go to. Not only do they remember who I am every time I go in or my husband goes in but they are also very friendly. Their prices are very reasonable and can do quick cleaning as well. They are very accommodating to your time schedule. I have never had a problem there ever. They have also done alterations on cloak. We started using 888 Cleaners when they first opened. They do good work and are friendly. Any problems we have had have been solved quickly and to our satisfaction. They were mortified once when my wife thought something had been lost. They offered to pay for a replacement. My wife hesitated to accept the offer and good thing she did. She found the item in her closet. We moved to Sunnyvale a couple of years ago but make the trek back to Milpitas to have them do our dry cleaning. Both of us work, so we have a lot of dry cleaning. It's well worth the trip to us to make the drive. Really good dry cleaners are hard to find. This one is a real find!!! read more

This is my first time at this particular dry cleaners. I needed two suits done by the next day. Very quick inexpensive, in my opinion. $20 for two suits. Were supposed to be done two days from when I dropped them off. I requested the next day and they did it at no extra charge. Next time I dry clean I'll definitely be back. i don't do dry cleaning, but brought my bridesmaid dress here to get altered. Silly me, i ordered a size way too big and i passed my 14 day return so i came here! Henry, the owner is super friendly and nice. His wife was the one who helped me with my alterations. i love how she took her time, gave suggestions and walked me through everything she was doing for me. it wasn't just in and out. 5-star cleaners! These guys are great! picking and dropping off is only a short time but each experience was very friendly and pleasant! And i know they make sure of it! They really care about each of their customers. The first time i went there, i came to get my dress pants hemmed. The lady who is in charge of the place helped me and did what she needed to do fast and briskly. No hesitation. Just straight A-B. really great. Other times i would come in, i just walk in and said " I'm here for my... " and she knew exactly who i was and got my clothes ready for pick up! Really nice. The husband, it looks like, seems like a really nice guy too. They both have the same kind of customer service quality in both of them. I dropped off 1 item, which they promised me by the next day. However, the item (an imitation fur blanket that I thought was too delicate to wash at home) wasn't ready for another day. Also, it came back with part of the seams torn off, so they agreed to repair it at no cost... and I had to wait another 3 days. I was really disappointed with the repair job - messy and unprofessional. I decided to bring the blanket for its next cleaning to another dry cleaner, and the guy there was kind enough to inform me that I could wash it myself using a commercial washer (laundrymat), and he was surprised that 888 Cleaners didn't tip me off but instead charged me $15 for something that I could have done myself for $4. read more

I came here for the first time and was really pleased with their service and speed. I brought 2 coats in and they were done within 2-3 days. One of the coats had a bunch of oil stains that I forgot to tell them about, so the stains didn't get any special treatment. I asked for a redo and the lady was so nice about it and redid it free of charge. When I got the coat back again, it was spotless and like new. I was relieved and grateful that I found a dry cleaning place with such great service! read more

I have been a regular customer at 888 cleaners, always used them for dry cleaning and pressing clothes. I gave a couple of very expensive trousers for alteration, they ended up ripping off the buckle on the trouser and tearing up the material around the buckle. To make matters worse when I went back with the trouser the lady owner said this is very common.....huh!! I expected much better customer service than that!! She did take my trouser back though and said she would try to mend it. But after mending the trouser looks like a botched patch up effort!! Extremely poor customer service!! And the lady owner is very rude! I also gave a yellow shirt for ironing recently ti the same place thinking the trouser fiasco was just a one off mistake but to my horror they put some weird blue color on my light yellow shirt while pressing and screwed up my whole shirt. To add to my horror the owner lady denied having anything to do with the blue color on my yellow shirt and was very rude in the manner she told me that her cleaners could not have done this!!
