We agreed upon a day to pick up and it was ready (and wrinkle free!) when I got there. I'd recommend bringing your heels both for drop off and pick up to ensure its correct length. Pricing was pretty fair! She accepts cash and card. What my favorite experience with my interactions with I presume was ivy is how sweet she is! She has very good energy. Make sure to check your garments before you leave at pick up. I've brought a couple sets of clothes here for dry cleaning. Got one set back with stains still on the garment but assumed it might just not be removable. Idk figured it was worth giving the benefit of the doubt since the staff seemed nice and capable. I should've been more diligent in checking the clothes the next time before I left but the recent set of clothes I picked up I inspected when I got home and looked untouched, in their original state and then I noticed the tag reading "needs sewing" was still on my dress strapped and unfixed. It wouldn't be that annoying since it really is my own fault but I gave the woman an extra week to fix it after she told me she was unable to do it in the original allotted time. I really should've checked in store before I left so it's mostly on me and they were a nice enough staff, just be careful before you pay. Either way, I paid full price for all of this and it wasn't cheap so I'm annoyed since I'll have to pay for them again to get done somewhere else properly. read more

I've been here twice for tailoring and plan on going here regularly for my tailoring needs as I am 5' and constantly need pants hemmed! The two ladies are sooo nice, I instantly felt welcomed and comfortable with them. I took a total of 7 pants here and I'm satisfied with the hemming work on all of them. I got one waist adjusted to be smaller. I wear all the pants regularly and there hasn't been any issues! I even made the dumb mistake of wearing one of the pants I wanted to get hemmed lol, and the ladies were super nice about it and said they could do it on the spot while I waited. It took like 15 minutes. I can't appreciate that enough!! Also Google maps says Ivy Cleaners but Yelp says Holiday cleaners, i think they had a name change. This place is overrated. I brought 3 white shirts to them to clean the stains on collars and cuffs. I picked up the shirts, the dirty spots uncleaned. The lady gave an excuse that the spots were unremoveable. I took my shirts to Mart Cleaners and the spots were completely removed. I do not recommend this place if you want spots removed. I will permanently block this store. It was truly a very bad experience. The first time I went there, the two legs of my pants were cut to different lengths. The second time I went, they cut a big hole in my pants and then put a patch on it. This is really a very low-level work issue. At first, they said they would compensate me with a new pair of pants, but then they said the price was too high and refused to make the compensation. Came to holiday cleaners because of the great reviews. Brought in pants to get hemmed and I specifically asked if they could have the hem look exactly like the original. The owner said yes, of course and when I came back to pick up the pants. They were poorly and cheaply done. I could've done this myself. Pictured are the taupe pants that were hemmed next to pants with original hem intact. Stitching looks very different. They have ruined these expensive pair of pants. Timing was also an issue. Dropped off the pants and was asked to come back at a specific time. When we arrived the pants were not ready. Was told it'll just be another 5 min. In fact, it was 20 minutes. I don't think they started on the pants until I came back to pick them up. Aside from the quality of alterations, the owner is invasive. Was adamant that we need to have a second child as an only child is not appropriate. What a weird conversation to have with customers. She also mentioned rude observations of other patrons to me. I frequented their previous location and I was sad when I saw their West Calaveras location closed. I drove by thinking I can get my items altered but the signage was gone. A quick Yelp to search for another alterations place led me to their new location. This location is bigger and more parking spaces. Their changing area is by the door and wish it was further back, with a door versus curtain. The base is also rickety and made changing nerve racking. I got three items altered, two pants and jumpsuit. I wanted more trimmed and she obliged but I know she didn't want to remove anymore. I had my jumpsuit dry cleaned as well and requested to have the items ready by Friday. I don't believe I was charged for a rush job but the total for the alterations and dry cleaning came out to $39. The alterations were great. Perfect length regardless if I'm wearing sneakers or heels, the hem was just right. read more

The staff here are the absolute sweetest people. I came by to drop off a suit for cleaning. The lady asked me how soon I needed it done by but I told her that I was not in a rush. With that, she told me I could come back in 2 days. When I came to pick up, the gentleman working was so friendly and sweet. He brought out the suit, I paid, and went about my merry way. It was $15 to have a 2 piece suit cleaned and they did an excellent job! There's a $15 minimum for card transactions here. Do not waste your time and money!! I brought a dress to be dry cleaned and a skirt to have a zipper replacement and dry cleaned. I was supposed to pickup my clothes after 1 week. One day before the scheduled pickup, I received a text stating that they couldn't dry clean the dress because it says on the label to be dry cleaned by a professional dry cleaner! Wait!! I thought this place is a professional dry cleaner!! Well, looks like they are not! Also, they needed 3 more days for the skirt because they had not ordered the replacement zipper yet!! I gave them two extra days to make sure my skirt is fixed and dry cleaned. When I picked up, there are multiple stains on the skirt and when I contacted them they said they did the best they could!!! What kind of an answer is that??? If you cannot handle the job, just close down the door and do something you can handle! Always the absolute best and a great price! My family has done all of our dry cleaning and alterations here for years. I had both my high school prom gowns altered here. I bought both a size or two too big in the chest area, one had a completely open back with mesh straps while the other was strapless with a mesh back. I didn't think it'd be able to fit properly, but they worked their magic here AND kept a nice train on both dresses, fixing the shape so it'd lay beautifully. For both the measurements before and making sure it fit after, I was in the dresses for mere minutes while the pins were put in place. They have a curtain in the corner to change. I remember her apologizing that it should take some time... to her some time was like a week. SO QUICK. The ladies here work their butts off.
