Had 2 pairs of pants I needed tailored! (1 waist and length taken in and 1 with only length shortened). The whole process was very quick and convenient! You have to try on the pants and the owner will pin them to your liking. The pants were finished from Wed-Saturday so very fast! Quality was wonderful, she created a new hem for my pants since they were ripped at the bottom. I love wearing them now, it's like I got new pairs! The price came out to be 68$. The woman who runs this store and does the work is very no-nonsense. Keep in mind she runs it by herself, is limited in her communication, and she is the only one doing any sort of sewing work. I have brought 3-4 different garments here. The first was a bridesmaids dress where she helped me alter the length. I was a little bit last minute on getting the dress to her, which I think affected her workmanship. She had it the right length, but I had asked her to help me add some fabric in the chest area so it wasn't so exposed and she did a pretty questionable job. The second time I came in, it was for another bridesmaids dress. She had me change into the dress and went about measuring and adjusting. When I went back to pick the dress up, she made a couple of remarks about my weight and how she had some trouble zipping it up, which didn't leave me feeling very confident. All in all, she's quick - kinda expensive, kind of classic older generation no filter type of person, and you get what you get. read more

I haven't met such a rude person as the lady who runs this store! I took a skirt for length alteration. Simple work, open the hem and fold again and then hem. She quoted $20 for it and when I was surprised at the price, she shrieked and crumbled the sheet in which she was writing the details down. She asked me in a very demeaning tone if I was still interested, I said yes since I really needed the alteration. Went to pick it up, the lady was joyful at that time. She has masterfully done everything from pants, suites, dresses, readjust straps and rework a design to make it fit me. She has also done my wedding dress and then my daughters. Went there to get my prom dress tailored and the Korean lady was very rude and gave a lot of attitude. She said she needed me to be in my heels even though I wasn't going to wear heels for prom and refused to measure or do anything if I didn't wear heels. So ridiculous why would you need me to wear heels when I'm planning on wearing flat shoes to prom anyway! I tried explaining and tried having a calm conversation with her but she was very hostile and shut me out. I thought it was a communication issue and asked her to do it again and agreed to pay additional charge. The end product was to my liking so i went again to get couple of pants altered. She's very quick in her turn around too! And the best part? Her prices are totally affordable! She lists prices in her shop (granted some may differ depending on the difficulty of the alterations) but definitely reasonable. So she's very transparent with her prices. The location isn't the most ideal as its tucked away in a plaza that doesn't have much activity. But in this case, you'll never have to worry about parking. The lady here speaks very little english but if you want to make sure that she does what you want, I suggest that you bring in a picture as an example to be sure. I brought my wife's jeans in to be hemmed and my jeans to be tapered under the knees. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my jeans to "stack" at the bottom and she knew exactly where to "taper" them after she saw how the jeans fit on me. I got them back and they were perfect. Went here a few months ago. Needed some work done with a good reputation and fair pricing. Tailoring can be very pricey at times if you look elsewhere. Bought a suit for a wedding that was going to take place on a Friday. I bought the suit Sunday. Did a little yelping and noticed that Amy has very satisfied customers and she did some good quality tailoring. Dropped by during my lunch time to drop the suit off and get sized. I was running out of time and I could only hope that she could get this done by Thursday as I was planning to leave for a wedding in Napa that same night. She was very nice and sweet and said usually it would be done ON Friday latest, but she said she would have it ready Wednesday, Thursday the latest. Thought to myself, hallelujah Amy is a beast! And it looks like she may be the only person operating and working there so I was more than happy that she was able to accommodate me with such short notice to have a blazer with the sleeves trimmed, shoulders lightened up, and a slightly slim fit at around the bottom of the blazer. Alongside the pants being shortened and tapered, to me I felt a break (phew). Came back and everything was perfect! And for a very fair price, I could not argue. The only downside is that she does not take any form of card or electronic payment. Which is ok because she will tell you how much she when it will be done so you have plenty of time to withdraw before it is finished. This is now my go-to tailor! I came in looking to bring in the waist of one pair of high-waisted jeans, one pair of paints with an elastic band, and one pair of shorts also with an elastic band. The price was right and she got all three done within a week, and they fit PERFECTLY! The shop is run by a Korean lady, who greeted me as soon as I came in and asked what I needed. Her English is very limited, but I was able to explain what I needed and she was very to-the-point about pricing and timeline. She had me try on my pants, pinned them up, and told me that they would be ready in five days. I ended up coming back to pick up a week later, after closing time no less, but a quick phone call and she accommodated to my schedule so that I could get my pants. When all was said and done, my pants now fit like a glove and I couldn't be happier! There is ample parking in the strip that the shop is located in. The shop does not accept credit card, so be sure to bring cash! I would prepare to encounter a language barrier if you do not speak Korean, so I would think longer for more complicated alterations. But if you're looking for a place to get something hemmed, tucked, or pulled in, I recommend this shop to everyone! read more
