Calamari, little ears of corn and green olives. All deep fried in beer batter. And an IPA beer.

At terminal B at Denver airport. I had the calamari, little ears of corn and green olives. All beer battered. It was very good. Never had any of those things deep fried in beer batter. I'd definitely get it again. The seasonings they used was good too. Also had an IPA but I forget the brand. Service was on point too.

Becoming a A regular stop while in DEN. Last time I got the Chinese chicken salad to go. This time I had 3 hours to kill so I got a Dirty martini and the steak salad and ate at the bar. I requested half romaine lettuce and half arugula versus all arugula. And the steak I ordered medium rare. First version, the steak came out overdone. The chef came out and apologized. Second version was perfect. I liked it a lot - it was excellent - but the chicken salad is lighter which I prefer when flying. Definitely recommend this place and I will return.

Every time we have a layover in Denver, this is our lunch go-to. The service is stellar and the food is top-notch. Special shout-out to Bobby for making our experience memorable. We'll be back!

Elway's is a well-known restaurant in Colorado for fine-dining. After being delayed at Denver International Airport, I decided to try it out for the first time. Why not? Located conveniently right next to the escalators off the train, my first impression was that it looked nice and similar to many nicer restaurants I've been to. The food itself was ok. I tried to find a better adjective to describe the food but ok was the word that kept popping up on my mind while eating. First off, I wanted some vegetables so looked at the sides and was very surprised to see that both the broccoli and asparagus were $16. Wow. I opted for a side salad which was $6 and tasted like a $6 salad. The salmon was quite expensive at $48 and I thought it was a bit overpriced for what it was. I was not too impressed there. The salmon was cooked well at a medium which was what I asked for but I thought the flavor was a bit bland. Service was awesome. Erin made sure that I never was waiting for anything too long and was very attentive. Thanks Erin! Overall, if you want a nicer meal at the airport and don't mind spending a bit extra, Elway's may not be a bad choice.

Location All the way ay the far end of terminal A Parking We were between flights Atmosphere Classy bar Seating Bar, tables Service Outstanding/friendly Menu We had the steak tacos-comes with 3 but for additional charge-they serve 4. Chock full of steak, no fat/ gristle. Comes with guac, pico, and salsa. Btw, everyone we saw at the bar ordered the same! Full bar. Summary Worth the walk if you have time to get there. Great food, outstanding service-classy bar-seats are wonderful.

Shocked because it was honestly really good airport food (so much that i wrote a review here). Not much wait and the staff is really friendly too! FOOD: Steak Salad (9/10) - One of the better salads I've had in my life (and steak cooked really well too) Calamari (6/10) - This one wasn't the best though. Rhode Island style calamari

Pretty good breakfast for a "steakhouse " in an airport. Service was fast and Julie took good care of us. Eggs scrambled perfectly and I really liked the way they made the home fries. The biscuits were surprisingly flaky and tasty. No real ambiance - it is an airport after all - but it was not unpleasant and well laid out for diners with luggage. The espresso martini tempted me. Next time...

Great place to grab a bite while waiting for your flight. Friendly staff. Pretzel app is delicious. Tons of fondue for it, but they said if we need more bites it's just $3. Such a great deal. Well lit, great music, and big screen tv in the bar area. Nicely done.

Service was exceptional. It's a very nice atmosphere. Food was very good except.. my biscuit was not cooked throughout. Doughy! My steak was very good, but for $42 I should have more than 4oz. Lots of potatoes. My eggs were cooked perfectly

I've been here a few times now. It never disappoints. I did have one time where my filet was undercooked but they brought me a new steak and were very understanding. I love the staff here as well. They always go above and beyond for me. 10/10 would recommend!

Good lunch here last Wednesday afternoon. Pleasant atmosphere located within the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Phenomenal wine selection by the glass. I had Elway's own production. Excellent! I started with a side Caesar salad and then the filet Mignon with truffle French fries. Good choices all around. Service was excellent, professional, attentive, and friendly.

My server was Rebecca, and she was great. She was attentive and knew how to interact with someone who was Deaf. Most people tend to shy away from me. I lip-read very well, but the Deaf community is diverse. If you have questions, write them down or use your notepad on your smartphone. It's not that difficult. Koodos to her! Also, the burger was thick and well-made, juicy, and tasty. The wait wasn't significant, but I was willing to wait. Rebecca made sure my glass was filled with soda and the other with water. She was awesome!

The vibe is upscale, the service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. For food, my wife and I shared the Filet Flight, which included samples of their prime, wagyu, and grass-fed 4 oz filets. Such a fun way to experience the different cuts, and every one of them was excellent. We also started with the Yellowtail Hamachi Sashimi, which was incredibly fresh. We also got the Oak-Grilled Broccolini and Duck Fat Fries, both of which were fantastic sides. There were also so many other side items on the menu that sounded amazing, including the Hand Made Gnocchi, Black Truffle Mac & Cheese, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, and Whipped Potatoes. Definitely a place you want to come back to and try them all. As a small extra touch for our anniversary, the staff gave us a handwritten card along with a few dessert bites, which was really thoughtful and helped make the night feel even more special. An easy 5 stars and a perfect spot for a celebration or date night.

Lots of professionals seemed to hang out here after work. They offer a great selection of steaks, half size portions of sides (which is amazing) and an array of cocktails and wine. I got grass fed New York and my friend got filet. Hers was slightly under but nothing she couldn't eat. The best thing on the menu... black truffle Mac and cheese!! Wow! The octopus was also tender and had great wood fire flavor. Our server was a bit all over the place and when we needed something, I had to track down someone else. Didn't love that. Would definitely come back again!

Celebrated a big business success recently and decided to go whole hog (is that even a saying these…read moredays?:) on a dining-extravaganza. Decided on A5 because 1) it's got some great appetizers / starters, 2) love the servers there, and 3) was in the mood to chow down on a hunka-chunka serious steak, and for the first time get a tomahawk slab o' beef that I had seen before on the A5 menu. Came in early on a Thursday night (6:15 pm) so the place was losing its happy hour crowd and had not yet been swooped down on by the hip dinner crowd. A great time to go. Could not have been better. Started with their crab and shrimp dip app and Japanese milk bread, both of which are stand-out non-steak items on their menu. Ordered the tomahawk steak which is ridiculously large (over 40 ounces (10 of which is from the large rib bone)) and ridiculously good (and ridiculously expensive . . . as in like over $225), along with an order of asparagus. Loved it all. Of course, we split the steak and had no room for dessert. Brought home probably 10 ounces of meat along with some other leftovers which will give us another night of good at-home eating. Bottom line . . . wonderful experience. Pricey but they made it a true celebration for us and it was well worth it. Go. You'll have a great time there, and if you don't want to blow a bundle and its your first time at A5, check them out at happy hour. It's probably the best deal for the best HH food in Denver.

We started with the burrata based on Yelp reviews and they weren't wrong. Super fresh tasting, and the focaccia paired with it perfectly. It's an upcharge but worth it, and you aren't at a place like this to pinch pennies anyways. We both chose the rigatoni, we had a heavy lunch, and it was perfect. The sauce was deep and hearty and the pasta was exactly al dente. We split a strawberry guacamole sorbet and glad we did, it was larger than expected and absolutely delicious. Place has the feel of a modern restaurant, very sleek. My only complaint was that we were seated next to a room with a large group and it was hard to hear each other talk, but nothing to be done about that. It was tender but maybe a bit dryer than I like for a filet. The peppercorn crust was amazing! The Saratoga chips are made in house and they are very good as well. Super crispy with the right amount of salt. We got a history lesson from one of the servers, about 10min worth of backstory about the restaurant and it was almost like dinner and a show. This was by far the worst part of our trip to Denver... be warned. Parking: There is free parking in the back of the building. When we first walked in we were greeted and brought to our reserved tables upstairs. If you decide to try this place, get a reservation and do downstairs. There is so much more to look at downstairs! Instead, we were brought to a backroom that was much cooler(in temp) and had way less to look at... we felt "put into the corner." It was busy, and it appeared they were short staffed. It took a long time for our server to get to us. She was very sweet and I definitely felt for her, she was really trying! However, it took awhile to get our drinks, the complimentary bread came out after our appetizer and house salads... anything complimentary should come out right away. The food: We got the Rocky Mountain oysters and I actually thought they were good! The cocktail sauce is very tomato forward and the "horseradish sauce" was a joke! There was absolutely no flavor and I am convinced it was just sour cream! If you do order these, ask for their ranch- it was dill flavored and delicious! The house salad was good But wet... like I had water on my plate. If you want a Caesar Salad it will cost an extra 7.50!!!!!!!!! Why!? That doesn't make any sense! The complimentary sourdough was good but the whipped butter had no taste at all... we had to sprinkle some salt on it for it to actually taste decent. We got the New York strip 16oz and the Elk steaks. The New York strip was the worst steak we have ever had! It was supposed to be cooked to a medium but was definitely closer to a medium rare. The butter on top did not have any flavor and was pointless. It had a fair amount of fat on it and the crust tasted "ashy" to us. It was expensive so we ate it, but terrible! The mashed potatoes were not mashed well! I had a whole potato in it! The veggies were mushy and overcooked. The elk steaks were actually very good! I would recommend that! The wild rice was brown rice with a few wild rice pieces... and again mushy veggies! The total price for one alcoholic drink, one bottled soda, a half order of Rocky Mountain oysters, the New York strip and elk steaks was over $200 with tip. We went to the restrooms afterwards and they were disgusting and dirty! If we are spending over $200 on a meal it better be great service, food and ambiance! This missed the mark HEAVILY! If you do feel the need to go here, get a table downstairs, make a reservation, get the Rocky Mountain oysters with the dill ranch and the elk steaks.

Quiet and cozy with the Rat Pack looking on, the mood was chill, anticipation high. Service is consistently attentive, prompt, and friendly here. Jason greeted us warmly and followed this with soft, warm bread with Anaheim-spiced garlic butter that we could have filled up on and left happy. It's stellar. Drinks arrived quickly: my Great Divide farmhouse ale and a potent White Russian that had mom in silly mode. Mom took her salad to the woodshed. My cup of green Chile corn chowder hit the spot. We were stoked when our server from my last birthday brought our entrees. It felt like home. While the "Sugar Steak" is their calling card and a number of topping combos are available, we went for straight up beef. No regrets. Medium rare? Perfect. Mom's filet mignon torched the one I had at Gallagher's in Las Vegas a week ago--at a much better price. I tried the wagyu coulette (picanha). Unbelievably tender, it's my new Bastien's fave. Side and soup or salad come with your steak--none of the a la carte nickel-and-diming found at most steakhouses nowadays. This sets Bastien's apart. We enjoyed the twice-baked potato and white cheddar mashers. I can vouch for the loaded baked potato and French onion soup, as well. They timed our pre-ordered apps perfectly and cleared the table right on cue for the tomahawk steaks and sides. Our birthday girl had a great time. We brought a cake, but since it's $5 per person to cut and serve, we boxed it up instead. The restaurant is definitely a vibe perfect for a girls night out and not too far to walk down market street (or uber/lyft) to the bars. For larger groups, the "private" open seating area requires a $2,000 minimum spend with a $1,000 deposit to book. Parking is easy with garage validation next door or valet available. Keep in mind valet will end when the restaurant closes so if you plan to stay out later, let valet know and you can pay so that you have your key to take your car at the end of the night. Super kind guy by the way!

After reading other reviews and checking out photos beforehand, I knew the Colorado lamb was a must-order. It's not something I usually go for, but it ended up being my favorite dish of the night. Absolutely worth the hype. We also ordered the birria short rib and hickory smoked picanha, and both were solid choices. The shrimp and corn grits were amazing, and I really loved the aged cheddar mac and cheese. Other dishes like the chickpea croquettes and the chili relleno were also pretty good and rounded out the meal nicely. The wait staff was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself has a cool, lively vibe. The only minor downside was that the outdoor heaters were a bit too hot, but that's a very small nitpick. Overall, an easy 5 out of 5 stars. Great food, great service, and a place I'd happily come back to.

The lamb was excellent, but the sweet mashed potatoes absolutely stole the show and easily the best thing we ate all night. Everything was well prepared and flavorful. For an appetizer, two meats, two sides, and dessert, our total came out to $88, which felt like a great value for the quality. Overall, it left a really good impression and we'd definitely come back again.
