The service is great, the restaurant clean and bright, ambience comfortable. They have a couple of tables and chairs outside. My problem with Einstein bagels is they aren't crispy . My bagel was very chewy and hard to bite, this was the first time having it that seemed almost damp and humid wet. I just found out the same company owns bruggers which I always drove to lane to get bagels but this last time found same problem not crispy little chewy. I always preferred bruggers but now taste the same. I also only eat plains and a lot of times hard to find a bagel that is well done - lots of times they are way to light and I leave. Not giving up yet will try new Gahanna Einstein if same. I will still to Giant Eagle. read more

I came here for a lil weekday breakfast. It was amazing, simply. I got a vanilla cold brew of course. Are we shocked? Pretty average but for a basic breakfast place?! Killed it. I also got a bagel, yummy yummy. I would definitely be willing to come back to try another coffee flavor and bagel, I am not so sure I would get the same flavors again. Well, I've been going to Einstein's two or three times a week for over a decade. It's the only easily accessible place on the north side that you can get LOX n BAGELS WITH EZ AND AND EZ OUT. As far as service goes, the app makes it easy to order ahead and by the time you're driving over there, it's already waiting for you on the far left protected from thieves on a stack where you have to talk to an employee to grab your food so that some DoorDash person doesn't steal it, which we all know happen for a while at every restaurant in town. The ambience has gone from losing our tables to sit at with friends during Covid back to the normal Hangout, but they added a section for the mobile food pick up people to be able to come and grab the stuff and leave. No, or else gives you more bonuses and free coffee all month that I found as long as you order something during the month. Mondays, they have a bakers dozen for $10! Who does that? The brisket sandwich with the jalapeño cheddar bagel has become one of my go to when I don't get the LOX set up. So I would say the good the bad and the ugly look like this: THE GOOD: consistent. Cost-effective. Great deals. Right off 270/sawmill Road, and they even have a drive-through if you're super lazy and working on adding food to any trip you're about to take and don't want to get out of the car. THE BAD: if you're in love with the LOX or smoked salmon, and bagel set up, all of us that have been coming there for decades are pretty upset that you can't order it in the app to come, "open faced" with two separate bagels with a stack of food on it in the long rectangular box they still have, but you can only get access to it, "open faced" if you drive there. Walk inside. Stand in the line. Order it at the counter. Otherwise, if you order through the app, which is so much more convenient, they're gonna smash it together like a pile of slime and when you take a bite, it's gonna all smoosh out the side. LOX work like a hamburger guys! THE UGLY: I really can't think of anything ugly here. One time I was trying to take advantage of the Monday morning Baker's dozen with 13 bagels for only $10, I hit the wrong button and got the one with custom build which bagels you want inside instead of the auto assortment that's standard, so I didn't get to select the bagels but I did get two cream cheeses added and it was still only $15 on Monday so I don't think you could really complain about Einstein's other than saying the multiple locations they used to have in places like German Village in the base of the HUNTINGTON Bank on the Square downtown have disappeared and the only place that I'm aware of is SAWMILL Road/270 up in the northwest corner. read more

I've stopped by this Einstein Bros location multiple times for bagel breakfast sandwiches. While my order is always correct and tastes good, this location has no inside seating. Yesterday was my first time in this location and it was busy for an early Saturday morning. However still highly efficient and clean. The staff was also very friendly, and despite wearing all wearing masks (which is obviously a good thing as well) they were somehow also able to convey good vibes before 9am. And despite the amount of heavy traffic, the line moved quickly, and social distancing guidelines where set up to be easily followed and highly functional. I ordered my usual Bagel and Lox with plain light cream cheese and chai tea latte. The chai tea latte was excellent with the perfect amount of sweetness and spice. My Bagel with Lox was also delicious. They offer to thin most of their bagels for a lower carb experience as well as have avocado which is surprisingly rare for Columbus bagel shops these days. Consider me impressed. I will definitely be back to try out some of their additional items. read more

First time here and I am a happy customer and will be returning here again. I am very picky when it comes to bagels and I must say this place does have really good bagels. I ordered a baker's dozen worth of bagels and 3 types of spreads (garlic and herb, garden veggie, and Jalapeno.) All of the bagels were great and so were the spreads. My favorite spread however was the jalapeno. I went there on a Saturday morning and there were traffic but it was moving pretty fast. All the staffs were super friendly and are very open to giving suggestion if needed. All the staffs were wearing masks and gloves and there are signs of you wearing masks and social distancing but thing was enforced. Well I'd have to say as a newbie here to Columbus and never had tried this place I'm very disappointed with my first experience. I decided to place a mobile (app) order after signing up as a new rewards member. I received a welcome gift of a free bagel and "schmear" that wouldn't expire until the end of December but I decided to use it right away. I was sitting within 150ft of the restaurant due to already being out and about. The schmear is considered any of spreads they offer. The app also includes special deals and offers not limited to being a new member but to all members. There was a special offer for a free iced coffee with mobile purchase so I figured I give it a try but there was no option to add cream and sugar or sweeteners. I ordered a blueberry bagel (lightly toasted) with almond butter, the party churro bagel (that looks like a donut), 2 large iced coffees and 2 twice baked hash brown puffs. I inquired about adding cream and sugar upon arrival and to see what options I had even if I'd had to pay more so that the coffee was sweet. The store associate suggested either adding the standard 3 cream, 3 sugars or having it on the side since I wanted it sweet. I told them it's okay to add in but do a little more than average. He confirmed 4 cream, 4 sugars would be added. I asked about syrup or additional flavor options that I'd be willing to pay for but in he said it wouldn't be an option for the free coffees. Understood. Everything that I ate was underwhelming to say the least. I first took a sip of the iced "coffee." It doesn't taste like coffee whatsoever.... I seen the sugar settles at the bottom, gave it a good stir and still tasted nothing. Now I'm on a mission to add my own sweetener to these coffees. The potato puff have no flavor and is a mushy texture although you can see there's cheese inside of the hash brown. The blueberry bagel w/ almond (didn't get a photo due to hunger) was meh. Nothing memorable. Panera had better bagels imo. They have a variety of selections so that's why I'd be willing to give it another try but honestly I wouldn't be quick to go back or recommend. read more

Was so happy to see one of these down here in Columbus since the pizza bagels are addictive, especially when you get it on a asiago cheese bagel. Got take out since I just had dim sum to enjoy for supper. Service was fantastic. Learned of a good sushi place in Dublin and when I drive up again, should learn of great Thai restaurant from workers manning the order counter. Pizza bagel was quickly made as we talked. Since I live in about 12 miles away, it is a little of a drive, but worth it. It seems that the places I like to go is in the more douchy part of metro Columbus as EBS would have said, but at least they are close together. The bagels themselves are a solid 4. My brother's ex used to work here and was always ringing us bagels. The everything and the cheese bagels were my favorites but I never had one I didn't like. However the sandwiches and service knock a star off. Everyone is always curt and I even garnered an exacerbated sigh when I asked a question about what was on a sandwich. I know working in food service, especially fast food places, doesn't pay well and certainly not enough to put up with the kind of people that can come through. I've been there, I know. I had a mcdonalds milkshake lobbed at my head when I was 14 because the woman thought I personally changed the formulation of the vanilla flavoring. Einstein Brothers Bagels is a chain which means it may suck. It depends on when you go. The busiest times are of course in the morning, when it's expected to be busy. It's better going after the big rush. There's lots of good choices for healthy eaters here. I like the plain bagels even though there's many choices. It goes well with anything. The hummus is good on it. It's about $5 for a bagel with a good amount of toppings. This isn't the cheapest but it's good. It's in a really busy area which is the wrist thing about it. There's more parking areas in the shopping center, just watch out for the idiots. I hate the chains but Einstein Brothers Bagels is good. It's not the best you can get but it's not too expensive and it's healthy. There are lots of breakfast options but this is a good choice if you want healthy options. read more

Ordered in person, not super busy time as we were 1 out of 2 couples inside and no line.. only to have our order handed to us incorrectly and unfortunately noticed when we got home so decided to drive back since it's not too far. A younger guy with longer dirty blonde hair, seems to have been a supervisor or some manager level (will leave his name out on purpose), acknowledged the mistake and grabbed my correct order from the counter.. proceeded to open the correct order, unwrapped each bagel, touched them with his hands and stated they would be re-made since they are cold by now. Initially, I thought that was very nice and an appropriate response since he handed me the original incorrect order. Well shocked is an understatement when he then CHARGED me for the new bagels and then turned it around on me saying I refused to take the correct order that had been sitting on the counter after he opened and unwrapped each bagel and touched them with his hands and it was now cold.. I said YOU told me you would remake them and I thought you were just being nice? How can you re-charge someone for an order that YOU messed up? Another middle aged/ older man got involved who I assume was the GM or a higher level manager and gave us a refund for the new bagels the other younger guy has re-charged me for.. but I still paid $20 for the incorrect order, no refund and was told I could not get a refund for that original incorrect order so I said whatever and left with 4 bagels.. 2 were correct and 2 were not since they cannot take the incorrect order back (understandable). All bagels and the hash-browns we got were still cold.. I should've been refunded for all of it considering how rude and passive aggressive the original younger man was. I wanted to really like this place but I have just haven't had a great experience here. I have been here 3 times, the first time was great, although busy. The last two times I have been here were on thursdays around 11. The first time I ordered the chicken bagel with chicken, cheese, cream cheese on a tater bagel which was what I got the first time I came here. They forgot the cream cheese which was annoying but okay. I came back today to give them another shot and got a cream cheese bagel but basically just got a bagel (see pic). For over $5 for a bagel and pop I would expect to taste more cream cheese and not be skimped. The only plus to this place is that they serve mr pibb. Their bagels and breakfast sandwiches are good, but portions continue to get smaller and prices continue to raise. Their lunch menu isn't much better from a value standpoint. Unfortunately for this location, that coupled with their poor customer service isn't combination that makes me want to return. My co-worker and I couldn't decide on a lunch spot, so we ended up here because we wanted some "healthier". Einstein's had a better selection of lunch food items than I expected. I ordered the chicken salad bagel and my co-worker ordered the avocado toast. The ratio for both dishes of bread to toppings was way off, so everything tasted dry. I've come here several times and the service is always great along with the sandwiches and bagels! I highly recommend the farmhouse sandwich and their chocolate chip bagel! What a fun and relaxed place!! Everyone was so happy and helpful and the atmosphere was so relaxed. I ordered a latte and it was hot and delicious. Now let's talk about the real star of the show my breakfast bagel. I had the farmhouse which was billed as a "fave" and now I know why it is. There was an egg (you could opt for 2 if you so desired) and honestly I don't even remember what all else was on there but there was a "schmere" on the bagel and the bagel itself was toasted to perfection and was crispy and delicious and perfectly held the delectable contents.
