The price was quite reasonable and the people working were very friendly. I also ended up getting a bag of coffee beans after talking with our server and getting her recommendations. She even gave me a sample of one of them they had brewed. We paid for our items and headed out. Several people came while we were there. In fact our friends missed getting to try the espresso donut because someone's that jumped in between us bought the last of them. After trying it when we got to our car I can see why! DELICIOUS!! Would go back for it alone. My husband didn't even wait until we got to the car to try his Buckeye donut and he loved it. During a busy period, there was no hostess apparent, forcing us to inquire at the cashier area about seating. They took our contact information, and shortly afterward, our table was ready. We were seated and provided menus, but the wait for a server to take our order was excessively long. It was indicated that coffee was self-serve and that customers should select their own mug. Subsequently, we observed no further service at our table, and the food was delivered by staff members elsewhere. I had to locate condiments independently. After finishing our meal, we returned to the cashier to settle our bill, which was not presented to us. The seating area within the diner is small, which is expected given the establishment's size. One additional concern is parking: the lot accommodates approximately seven vehicles, and street parking in Grandview Heights is limited. This constrains accessibility and could diminish visitors' overall experience in the area.
