Bagel & Flavored Cream Cheese (scallion)

Pros: The bagels here are very solid. Nice crusty exterior and chewy inside. Pretty close to a traditional NY style bagel. The "everything" bagel is a standout. Bagels were toasted nicely and served warm. Cons: Did not enjoy the cream cheese at all. Had weird consistency and flavor was not good. Music was incredibly loud at 10 am. Understaffed and seems like it needs some management. Egg and cheese is microwaved for bagel sandwich.

Consistent! The bagels always taste super fresh. I love how many choices they have for toppings. Their breakfast usually my favorite but they also make a nice lunch bagel. Good coffee but not crazy about the iced tea!

I was craving a breakfast sandwich, when I passed by this spot. I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on a toasted bagel. I washed it down with a large cup of coffee. The two employees were bantering back and forth about the dining room set up and drink station supplies. I felt like they were focused on getting cups out rather than preparing my order. The sandwich wasn't great. I couldn't put my finger on it but the sausage was not very flavorful and the bagel wasn't great. Overall disappointed in this experience.

One of our favorite spots to get bagels in the area is Barry's. A few of the things that set Barry's apart from the rest are the wide array of bagel selections and the amount of salmon you get on the lox sandwich. They are also one of the few places you can get Matzah Ball soup on our side of town. You can get it with chicken and noodles or just the broth. I'm a huge fan of the chicken and noodle style. Barry's is located in a strip mall in Dublin on Frantz road. It's a huge Deli style affair where you order at the counter and either pay and go or have a seat, at one of their many tables. We typically order door dash and I either have a salt bagel and lox or matzah ball soup. Occasionally if I'm feeling really froggy I'll have both. My husband usually gets the veggie and hummus bagel. They also have huge chocolate chip cookies and Rice Krispie treats. Both are phenomenal. Love this place!

I also got a bagel, yummy yummy. I would definitely be willing to come back to try another coffee flavor and bagel, I am not so sure I would get the same flavors again. Very convenient, fast, easy and quick. I was out the door in 10 minutes, even though it was very busy, even at 8:00 AM! Kind stuff. You know your girl got a to go container of their honey almond cream cheese for her bagels at home for girl dinners, DUH! Clean, perfect location, absolutely killing it, keep up the amazing work! Perfect for a family spot or quick date.

Well, I've been going to Einstein's two or three times a week for over a decade. It's the only…read moreeasily accessible place on the north side that you can get LOX n BAGELS WITH EZ AND AND EZ OUT. As far as service goes, the app makes it easy to order ahead and by the time you're driving over there, it's already waiting for you on the far left protected from thieves on a stack where you have to talk to an employee to grab your food so that some DoorDash person doesn't steal it, which we all know happen for a while at every restaurant in town. The ambience has gone from losing our tables to sit at with friends during Covid back to the normal Hangout, but they added a section for the mobile food pick up people to be able to come and grab the stuff and leave. No, or else gives you more bonuses and free coffee all month that I found as long as you order something during the month. Mondays, they have a bakers dozen for $10! Who does that? The brisket sandwich with the jalapeño cheddar bagel has become one of my go to when I don't get the LOX set up. So I would say the good the bad and the ugly look like this: THE GOOD: consistent. Cost-effective. Great deals. Right off 270/sawmill Road, and they even have a drive-through if you're super lazy and working on adding food to any trip you're about to take and don't want to get out of the car. THE BAD: if you're in love with the LOX or smoked salmon, and bagel set up, all of us that have been coming there for decades are pretty upset that you can't order it in the app to come, "open faced" with two separate bagels with a stack of food on it in the long rectangular box they still have, but you can only get access to it, "open faced" if you drive there. Walk inside. Stand in the line. Order it at the counter. Otherwise, if you order through the app, which is so much more convenient, they're gonna smash it together like a pile of slime and when you take a bite, it's gonna all smoosh out the side. LOX work like a hamburger guys! THE UGLY: I really can't think of anything ugly here. One time I was trying to take advantage of the Monday morning Baker's dozen with 13 bagels for only $10, I hit the wrong button and got the one with custom build which bagels you want inside instead of the auto assortment that's standard, so I didn't get to select the bagels but I did get two cream cheeses added and it was still only $15 on Monday so I don't think you could really complain about Einstein's other than saying the multiple locations they used to have in places like German Village in the base of the HUNTINGTON Bank on the Square downtown have disappeared and the only place that I'm aware of is SAWMILL Road/270 up in the northwest corner.

It's super busy on Saturday mornings, but mid morning during the week, there's short lines and your choice of tables. Several people had laptops too, so it's quiet enough for that as well! Their pastries are what bring me here, the coffee brings a lot of others. Their blueberry galette is delicious - large flaky pastry, ripe blueberries, with a delicate sweet cheese filling. My friends go to is the Biscuits & Jam or the Ham & Swiss. I picked up an Everything Danish to go home - like an everything croissant with an herbed cream cheese - so good!! We also enjoyed black coffee and an iced Chai! Look forward to my next trip back to Dublin!

Our last visit we were blown away at how fresh and well baked everything was. Even the oatmeal was smooth and creamy. The servers were also so happy to help us select items and tell us about the products. This time, we were an afterthought and seemed liked a nuisance for not knowing what we wanted. I felt like the pastry selection was small compared to the location we went to before. The breakfast sandwich was really thrown together- the last time it was warm and cohesive with a good amount of sauce and the eggs were so fluffy and light. This time very rubbery. The croissant I had was raw/doughy although well flavored. Oatmeal was one big clump versus smooth and velvety. The strawberry matcha was super sweet with almost no "matcha" layer. Our cinnamon roll was over baked with no delicious gooey bits. Seemed like an affluent neighborhood which will support this addition, but maybe an instance where expansion is happening at the expense of quality.

They have a small shop tucked in a plaza, and their display of desserts and Turkish delight was impressive! The honey cake was my favorite, although the layer of honey fell off on our journey home It was slightly sweet with a layers of cake, cream, and grainy powder that was really good. The hazelnut baklava was tasty as well, and it was covered with a sweet cream which made it wetter than Greek baklava. Since they specialize in Turkish desserts and drinks, we also tried the Turkish coffee. It's served hot and was brewed very quickly. Since Turkish coffee is prepared without filtering, we were surprised by the layer of grounds on the bottom, but it's part of the taste and uniqueness of the coffee. It is on the stronger side so it paired well with the sweet dessert. I would like to try the coffee with some cream or milk next time.
