    Basically a VERY mini-breakfast "sandwich"
    Dave H.

The coffee was OK. QUITE disappointed with the breakfast "sandwich." I asked if they had something like a bagel with egg and sausage and she said "We have a breakfast sandwich with egg and sausage patty." For $6+ I got a small hamburger bun with runny egg and a patty. I was looking for a new spot, relatively close to home for morning brew and a place to do a bit of work.... sadly, this won't be it....

I'm a big coffee guy, and this place is the place for me by Columbus. I'm by this area and the Cinci area and this is still one of the best between both. The coffees good, hot, and reasonably priced. There's always a place to sit and study, sometimes customers are a little loud but with headphones it's fine. Super cute place too, with the bathroom being super nice & smells great because of the wall plug they use. The baristas do a fine job & never are rude or give me the wrong thing. Very nice place, 9/10.

The New Grounds Festive coffee flight line up change every month and can't wait to see what would it be for December. Not to mention, this place is super cozy. Plus the shop is surrounded with local product for you to shop. They may looks similar but the flavor is different. Some taste more subtle and some are richer. My favorite would be the Apple Pie.

Tried a new coffee shop earlier this week. Place was really clean, and coffee and Scone was delicious. They also have a gathering room, if you had a small meeting or group. They had several people working so the drive thru and inside items came out fast. Restroom was very clean.

We have been here twice. Just realized I didn't write a review last time. This is a great little local coffee shop. They have a variety of drinks. Even bubble tea. They have a buckeye latte that is amazing. It's a signature drink. They have pastries from Der Dutchman in Plain City which is cool. They have a drive thru that's always busy. It's a very cute little shop. They have a nice indoor seating area with couches and tables. They sell some really nice local crafts in the lobby. I got an iced caramel mocha and omg it's delicious. Makes me want to try it hot too. Next time! My husband their other signature drink. A New Grounds mocha. They do not skimp on the Carmel and mocha syrups that is for sure! Definitely pop in if you're in the area!

Lovely little coffee shop that's definitely underrated in Hilliard. The vibe is very nice, and the staff is super friendly. We loved looking at all their decor, especially the candles. They smelled just like their description, and their toppings were so cute!! The drinks were also delicious. From regular coffee to fun blended drinks, we all enjoyed what we ordered. There was a nice seating area too. Very family friend and I would come back.

Going in and avoiding the drive through drastically cuts down on wait time. I got a buckeye latte and was very impressed with the styling and flavors.

I always love coming to New Grounds. It's pretty consistent and you can order any type of flavor profile you could want. Throw in a cinnamon roll, you won't regret it

I had an okay visit at New Grounds Coffee House. It's a small coffee shop in a pretty boring area of Hilliard. The location may not be exciting, but this is a nice shop if you would like to enjoy some alone time. It's not busy like the corporate chains. That makes it preferred over them. I like supporting local businesses so it's good to see places like this. It may not have the variety of something like Starbucks. The good thing is they are knowledgeable of what they have. It's also nice because employees aren't like robots having to memorize a whole bunch of items. They have weekly coffee specials that change. I think New Grounds Coffee House is better for those looking for some good but affordable coffee along with friendly service. It's not as big of a menu as the corporate chains but this allows them to make what they do have better. The service is much more enjoyable than other chains and they have good wifi here too.

The coffee tastes great, service is amazing too! They have a very friendly staff! It's my favorite shop to stop by when I am in Cbus.

Love their coffee and the employees are always nice. It's better tasting coffee then from the national chains.

An adorable coffeeshop that was (quite clearly) built into what used to be someone's house. This…read moreold-home vibe comes with small rooms, small doorways, and lots of little nooks and crannies that would be perfect for working. Worth noting: this business has religious overtones to it with multiple Christian decor items around it. PROS: -Love the upstairs area. Upstairs, there were two separate rooms with good seating areas. Both offered enough privacy to feel like you were having a "private" conversation at the coffeehouse and you felt far enough away from the people on their laptops to feel like you weren't disturbing them with your conversations. -While some of the furniture "appears" older and classic, they have nice upgrades. A full-wood table, for example, had outlets built into the table for laptops. -Really friendly staff. We didn't know what to get, but they were really patient with us. -Decent parking around. This is in the busier area of Hilliard, but it's off the beaten path enough that there's decent parking within a one block radius. Lots of free parking options if you're willing to walk a couple blocks too. I didn't look for a dedicated parking lot. -Mini sizes of drinks. Coffee Connections seems to sell a "Mini", a "Small", and a "Large". The Mini appears to be about the size of a couple of espressos, and it's adorable. I could see that being a great size for kids who want to "have coffee like my parents" in a matching cup. -Delicious coffee. I know it's a coffeeshop, but sometimes the vibe is almost as important as the actual product. Coffee Connections has a lovely, small-business vibe but they also have the yummy, sippable coffee to match. Latte was served piping hot, and it was a pleasure to sit and chat while waiting for it to cool down to drink. -Cute outdoor area. A door right off the order counter takes you to their outdoor seating area. Coffee shops with outdoor seating are hard to find, and this one even has beautiful lights strung up for you late-night coffee drinkers. It honestly feels like it'd be a super-cute date night spot in the evenings. CONS: -Built into an older home, Coffee Connections has smaller hallways and older flooring. Nothing seemed dangerous uneven, but if you need lots of space and flat flooring to maneuver, this may not be a good fit.

This could be one of the more esthetically pleasing places in Columbus! All the pastries looked so good within the display case and I had trouble choosing. The service was friendly, and I ordered a chocolate eclair and a braided cheese danish. I really enjoyed the eclair, and it had fun little sprinkles on it. The cheese danish was very cute, however, it was mostly air and very little filling, so I wish I would've just picked the normal one. The two pastries were about $12, so a little pricey but definitely worth the novelty. I'll have to come in and try their food/drinks next time.
