So, this is my first time trying Einstein on the east coast my ugh, I was disappointed. Not sure why, but the west coast locations had more love in their bagels and drinks. Their brisket bagels had more meat and more than 1 jalapeño provided. Their caramel iced coffee, tasted exactly like caramel iced coffee - not cereal milk. I frequent many bagel specific spots like naval bagels and others. This is my first time trying einstein in Annapolis. I thought the severna park location was fantastic. I ordered my bagels for pick up and the staff was very quick and efficient. The inside was large and had plenty of seating. Unfortunately when it came to my bagel I believe they forgot the cheese. There was not much flavor to my bagel which I'm kind of sad about. I ordered the garden avocado egg sandwich. I feel like if the cheese wasn't forgotten it would have been better, and I'm not sure if it's normal for eggs to be sort of discolored/green but they don't taste the best either. All in all, I don't know if I'll be returning to this location. I spent $17 for two bagels for me and my boyfriend but I don't even know if I want to finish mine. read more

I see why they only have 2 stars. Went in today to get a quick bite. Asked for a toasted ONION with brisket and 2 eggs, I even paid for the extra egg. Repeated the order twice. Walked into establishment and workers were in the back chatting. Stood there for 3-4 minutes before worker came from back. I asked her how she was to which she did not reply. Started giving her my bagel choices to which she stopped me mid sentence and asked," How many?" ( mind you all behind a mask). I asked her to repeat herself and she said( loudly), " HOW MANY?" Got a dozen bagels. The server was sweet. This location in Annapolis has not reopened dine in yet. I've seen negative reviews because of this and while that's a legit reason for a more negative review it is not the case for me. Bottom Line: A decent place for a bagel, soda or coffee. If I really want a good bagel then I head to Naval Bagels or Uber Bagels but on a Friday morning when I was in the area I found Einstein's to be a decent place for a quick breakfast. The employees were friendly, the restaurant was quiet and clean and they had my beloved Diet Coke on the soda fountain. I had the farmhouse sandwich on a pretzel bagel. No problems here. The bagels are pretty good. I usually come for an egg and cheese bagels. The service is fine, and the waits are reasonable. They make your order fresh with a great variety. I came in looking for something light and quick to eat. I decided on the ham and cheese on a toasted potato roll. I had the option of sides and I chose the fruit cup. In the past, I've been a fan of their bagels, but I'm watching my carb intake, so I didn't purchase any. The cashier was pretty friendly, but the staff was doing a lot of personal conversations behind the counter. I noticed a huge garbage bag in a trash can overflowing in the kitchen area. A woman, who seemed to be the supervisor, made a worker remove the trash can from sight. The wait for my food was pretty quick, so I grabbed my bag and went home. The sandwich would've been so much better if the bread wasn't so darn hard! It was difficult to eat. It was thick and extra chewy. I opened my fruit cup and clearly the strawberries in this mix were old and had mold on them. Everyone knows that fresh fruit doesn't last long, especially strawberries. I have no clue why the fruit wasn't checked before they even sold it. Major disappointment and a waste of my money. If I lived closer, I would've taken it back and complained. I go here all the time - at least once a week. My standby is the tasty turkey. It comes with turkey and chive cream cheese. Ive tried the tuna on bagel with red onion and tomato and thats fantastic as well. Its never crowded! My favorite part is they serve CARIBOU COFFEE!!! I get the mocha with half the amount of chocolate they usually put and iced. Its my favorite coffee spot in all of Annapolis (even beats out some of the local yocal owned places). I'm not sure why Einstein Bros gets such a poor rap with people. While it's nowhere near as good as a local bagel shop, it's much better than places like Dunkin Donuts. This location turned out great service and had our meal up in minutes. The location, there's ample, free parking, is clean and the staff is helpful. What more could you ask for from a chain that brings lots of value? Now we all know Einstein Bros doesn't make everything from scratch. That's obvious. The bacon that goes on the sandwiches taste microwaved, as many the other ingredients tastes like they're frozen and not fresh. However, there is absolutely nothing wrong with their bagels sandwiches particularly for someone that's in a hurry which is why we come to this chain. You can get in and out in a hurry without spending too much money. I enjoy their bagels. I think they're much better then what's available at Panera nearby or the Dunkin Donuts down the street. Their coffee and teas are better quality here as well. Hands down, if you're in the need of a breakfast item or even a bagel sandwich for lunch you'll find better value, quality and service here then you would have a place like Dunkin Donuts, Subway or any fast food chain. read more

On a visit today, I came in just after 11 AM and they were out of plain bagels. What? You didn't think to make more between the breakfast rush and the lunch hour? Then my lox bagel had such a miserly amount of lox that it made me laugh, but it still tasted good so whatever. But the next guy to get a lox bagel waited for his order only to be told they were out of lox. He handed them an unopened package of lox from their to-go section, and they were like, ohhhh, right, we sell that. Made me wonder if they stiffed me on lox because they thought they were running low, and also it confuses me how a bagel place can run out of 1) bagels and 2) lox... at 11 AM... on a Monday. Before covid, we used to go here every Sunday as a family tradition. We love bagels. But this location has totally gone downhill after covid. If any business complains about going out of business from covid then it is most certainly their own fault. First of all, the mask mandate and restrictions are over and this location still doesn't let people dine in. Why??? Because the staff doesn't want to clean tables let's be real. And the staff is rude. No greeting. A bunch of people standing around working slow as all get up. The food takes forever. It's literally a bagel not a steak, not sure what is taking so long. They took away the vanilla sweet creamer in the self service station. Their outdoor eating area have no trash cans nearby. The whole thing is a big fail. Never going back. read more

This place is in a good spot (between West Street and Whole Foods). It has its own parking lot, but is also a convenient walk from a lot of places (like the Firestone across the street...don't get run over crossing West). Inside it's very big, with a whole lot of space AND seating. High ceilings and a variety of tables/booths make it pretty great for any group. They have wifi and bottomless coffee (multiple types) so it's an all around great place to go. The food is consistent and tasty, and the service I saw was fine (a couple of people weren't watching the counter, just restocking bagels. That may have bothered me, but the manager (i think?) said something to them and was really helpful when she helped me). So if there are problems, at least they're watching out. They brought my order to the table, which was a nice touch that didn't leave me lingering around the counter. My biggest complaint is this: it's loud in here. I had hoped to get some work done while I waited on my vehicle...and it was difficult. The music in this place is REALLY loud...maybe not if you;re just sitting with friends eating, but I couldn't complete a conference call without multiple comments about it sounding like I was at a concert. Even with headphones in, it's loud. They also have a semi-open ceiling, so AC noise kind of bleeds down. While this wouldnt stop me from dropping in with friends, I doubt I could come back here to work again. Power outlets are available, but only at a high top table and select other tables. So if you want a booth to work from, you may be out of luck. To the management: turn down your music and you're half way to capturing more customers. Add some power outlets and be friendly to the work from home crowd. With those changes I'd probably go 4 stars. Without them I still feel like I got what I paid for. read more

Love their bagels. I usually get mine to go for home. Toasts up great. Have ordered breakfast sandwich a few times and were pretty decent. Was there yesterday and noticed an ad at register for Schmerefuls, and I mentioned that they looked good. Cashier said, To Be Honest, They Are Not That Great If Not Eaten Right Away While Warm. Coming from the hospitality and food service business, was appreciative for the honesty. Corporate might not like it, but I do. Location is always clean and quiet. read more

Thanksgiving day I went to Einsteins because another bagel shop " Bagels And " a little walk up West St was closed. There is no comparison in the bagels. Einsteins were soft,doughy and alittle raw in the middle. "Bagels And " serves a true authentic bagel not some attempt at a bagel like Einsteins chain. Bagels And bagels have a firm outside,a delicious fully baked inside that is lite and full of flavor. If your in the area pass on Einstein and go up West street and treat your taste buds to a true Jewish bagel and not a chain immitation bagel. read more

Customer service is 'Meh and always slow. My 2nd visit: Coffee is excellent. I received a order that was SIMILAR TO what I ordered but definitely not what I ordered; I almost was going to eat it anyway but went up to address it. I was told "it'd just take a minute" to make the right order, so I told them 'thanks, sure!' I was then refunded for what they served me but then CHARGED for the fixed/correct order, which shocked me! It's been 15 minutes and I have yet to receive the fixed order..I was told that they didn't actually MAKE my correct order because they weren't old sure if I wanted it...and they are now out of the kind of bagels I had come in to order! This location is convenient and has its own parking lot for quick access, in and out service. They have a self-serve coffee bar with various brews. Most of the bagels are vegetarian, though not gluten-free. I had a coffee and my client opted for a plain bagel and coffee. The interior is laid out nicely for different table groupings but it does have loud music playing overhead. We found it was a bit hard to have a discussion while competing with the music. read more

The Einstein Bros. Bagels Store #4051 at 29605 N. Cave Creek Rd. needs help. The booths are ripped and not fit to sit on, the edging that separates the carpet from the tile is broken. It's a trip hazard. The carpeting and the tile are filthy. The coffee was warm, not hot. The owner of this location needs to up-date and CLEAN this shop. I'm not going back! read more
