    All American Slam

Verdict: Deon was a great server and I had an All American Slam in front of me 5 minutes after ordering. One of the best experiences I have had at a Dennys and I have been going to them for decades! I ended up here after walking out of First Watch 0.3 miles away after being ignored by the servers. Dennys has much better service! Promote Deon!

Nice place! Service was quick and our waiter was nice. My son always loves Denny's.

    Pot roast bowl

Had a wonderful dining experience! Me and my fiancé had Brisk it all melt & pot roast bowl and HOLY MOLY, it was phenomenal. And topped it off with an Oreo shake. Not only was the food delicious, the cook was on point and our service whose name was Deonte D. was tentative, friendly, etc. Overall clean place, comfortable. First time I've been to a Denny's in years and glad I came to this one (I am an out of towner too). Keep it up

We like this Denny's, it's fast and clean and in a convenient place! We usually go on a Sunday Morning for breakfast and park in Pier One so we dont have to drive all the way around. It's a typical Denny's otherwise, but I have always enjoyed the service when we go. I do recommend this location!

We came here on Christmas Eve and it was packed but the wait wasn't too terrible. The staff was very friendly and gave frequent updates while we waited. Once we were sat, the service was quick enough to make up for the wait. We had the mozzarella sticks and onion rings appetizer which was delicious! I had a veggie burger and mashed potatoes which were fine. The burger was nice and crispy, much better than expected. The mashed potatoes were a little bit too thin. Nothing to write home about but considering the price and quick service (and my own expectations) I was pleasantly surprised. This is a great Denny's.

He let me know about the half off wine special and half off pasta Wednesday specials as well. We ordered the salmon with Brussels sprouts wild catch dish, crab dip, and the Cheseapeake pasta. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The pasta had a rich lobster cream sauce with plenty of lump crab meat and shrimp. The crab dip was flambéed table-side and it came with hot naan chips. Once seated the server approaches us with a bottle of Saratoga water and aked if this was our first time at the restaurant. I replayed yes and she proceeded to inform us of all the food stations. She continued to ask if she could take our drink order and I had inquired about the cost of the bottle of Saratoga water it was $6 and we decided to purchase the which left me thinking the tap water was not good. The food I had bacon, eggs, shirmp and sausage gravy, prime rib roast and grits. The egg were okay. The bacon was good and crispy. The grits and cheese was good, shrimp and sausage in gravy. The gravy was so thick you could not get to the meat. The prime rib was small and over cooked. I also ordered a latte with espresso and coffee both was so weak the Saratoga water tasted better. Asked that both be removed from my check. The music was great. Note: be prepared to pay an 18% gratuity/tip which included in the total on the check. There was three in our party our tip was $28 which means it's $9.33 per person.

Alexander's once before, and it was good enough for me to come back--and it did not disappoint. For this area, the cost was surprisingly budget‑friendly, especially considering the quality. The town center around it has clearly changed, with several stores and restaurants closed and even the old adjacent parking lot gone. But once we walked inside, the experience was excellent. Our server was friendly, helpful, and honest with her recommendations. My daughter and I both ordered the Chicken Palermo, and it was outstanding--fresh, tasty, and served in portions that rival anything back home in Texas. The broccoli was delicious, and I swapped one side for Brussels sprouts, which were just as good.

For a restaurant with a full bar, it was surprising they had no mezcal and were supposedly out of top-shelf bourbon, yet still served me a drink that tasted overly sweet and nothing like the premium bourbon I ordered. Another letdown was the lack of bread service. Other J. Alexander's locations usually serve croissants, so having none available took away from the experience. The food didn't make up for it either. The steak lacked flavor and felt low quality for the price. The "fried chicken platter" was basically oversized chicken tenders marketed as an entrée, and the mac and cheese was watery and bland instead of rich and creamy. Overall, the experience felt inconsistent and poorly executed. Between the missing staples, questionable bar service, and underwhelming food, this location did not feel worth the cost.

Full On Craft Eats. The Toast online ordering system was easy to navigate and adorned with pictures of every menu item. I could not get past the onion rings on the starter menu hoping they would taste as good as they looked. My friend offered to split the Slammin Salmon sandwich and onion rings since she has had it before and never finished the entire thing. I took her up on it and the order was placed. A quick ask for mom to grab it on the way home and the food made its way back quickly. WOW is all I can say. When you order food to go there is a level of expectation that it will not be as good as it is at the restaurant, especially fries and onion rings. But in this instance WOW. Talk about food that travels well. Fourteen minutes away and the food was still warm, the onion rings were so crisp, and the garlic and dill aioli and onion ring sauce were just right. The Slammin Salmon was served on ciabatta bread that was not too soft not too hard, with salmon cooked perfectly. The lemon dill aioli was a game changer so much that my friend's advice to order extra was well received and committed to memory. The onion rings lived up to the hype, cooked perfectly with a crust I cannot even explain. The kind you bite into without losing the entire onion from the breading. Dip it into the sauce and you have a match made in heaven. Half the sandwich was more than enough but the next day I would have loved some leftovers. Now for the extra razzle dazzle. I left to visit a friend in DC and sent him the menu, shared my experience and he was locked in to try. Online ordering was closed since they were closing at 10pm so I called as a last-ditch effort since the anticipation was already there. The nicest most warm individual answered ten minutes before closing and was more than happy to take my order. She even made sandwich recommendations. I quickly arrived at a shopping center that was easy to get in and out of. Walking in you immediately arrive at the counter and takeout area to your left with a nice bar area a short walk past on the right. The cooks and wait staff were having the best time using the 6/7 saying that was all over social media late last year. They were considerate when they noticed I was in the restaurant, but I assured them I loved their energy. I see why the food is so good because the energy shows it was made with great vibes and laughter all around. As I grabbed the bag to leave the hostess stopped me to add another fork and extra napkins since I would need them to add the pickled veggies on my sandwich. Such a nice touch. Thirty plus minutes to DC and the food still did not need to be reheated. The Mai Thai sandwich was a hit with flavors that married well and the onion rings delivered again. The Spicy Thai wings were good for wings but typical. They had a lot to compete with.
