Our Food, promptness and service all excellent our last couple visits! We've had much experience at Dennys than the newer Cracker Barrel.

I can admit when I have the wrong impression. Usually, I am not a fan of any chain restaurants & I rarely seek them out. Also, the local Denny's here is in a bit of a difficult location, depending on which way you are going. Today I had an early appointment for fasting blood work and I was famished afterwards. Denny's was on my way home & I was headed in the right direction to pull in. What a pleasant surprise. A woman behind the counter called out a friendly greeting to each person who walked in. The server who waited on my was fabulous. She kept checking on me & refilling my coffee. She even offered to give me a cup of coffee to go. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was HUGE. The fact that the hash browns are inside it made it unusual, and very tasty. This was the friendliest team of people I have encountered for a long time. Kudos to Denny's! read more

It was SO HOT in that restaurant we were not even able to stay and enjoy our meal! It was our second time going back to this location and the first time it was hot. I thought maybe they were having an issue with the air conditioner so we chose to give it another shot and I can't believe with these 100 degree plus temperatures that these workers have to work in that condition! How is anybody able to enjoy their meal and conditions like that??? this is directly to the owner. You need to do better.!!! Should call OSHA for unsafe working conditions!!! Verdict: Deon was a great server and I had an All American Slam in front of me 5 minutes after ordering. One of the best experiences I have had at a Dennys and I have been going to them for decades! I ended up here after walking out of First Watch 0.3 miles away after being ignored by the servers. Dennys has much better service! Promote Deon! read more

My husband and I went to this location for breakfast this morning. We had a very good experience. We were seated promptly and our waitress was very attentive. She was friendly and very proactive. Our food was prepared and delivered to the table in record time. My husband ordered the Lumberjack breakfast and I ordered the crepe breakfast. Both meals were good with large portions. Generally, OK, but the prices seemed high, compared to my recent visits to comparable places like Bob Evans. Six of us were there at noon on a Sunday, obviously peak time. We were seated promptly & got good service. However, the place loses one star because of the terrible quality of the food I ordered. Wanting something different, I ordered the brisket skillet: chunks of brisket over mac & cheese, with fried onion rings. Two of us got this, and the brisket looked like little chunks of charcoal. We asked about it and were told that the restaurant gets the brisket pre-cooked, and it "gets that way" in the process of being recooked/reheated before service. I'm not buying it! I love smoked brisket, and at a real BBQ joint will sometimes order "burnt ends." These little chunks were done beyond that. Crunchy all the way through. Not bad enough to keep me away from the place in the future, but I'll certainly never order brisket there again. Maybe Mission BBQ has me spoiled. read more

Had a wonderful dining experience! Me and my fiancé had Brisk it all melt & pot roast bowl and HOLY MOLY, it was phenomenal. And topped it off with an Oreo shake. We like this Denny's, it's fast and clean and in a convenient place! We usually go on a Sunday Morning for breakfast and park in Pier One so we dont have to drive all the way around. It's a typical Denny's otherwise, but I have always enjoyed the service when we go. I do recommend this location! read more

The first time we went here, it was wonderful. Everything was good. The second time, not so good. The breakfast was not bad tasting at all. As a matter of fact, it was good. However, it was room temperature apparently sat in the window too long. Our waitress was third world and pretty much indifferent. Basically, a very lack luster experience. We usually bypass the table line and grab a seat at the bar, especially on weekends. We always get fast service with the great Denny's values. The coffee is a little on the weak side, but the servers keep it flowing. Our meals come out quick and hot. I'm partial to the Grand Slamwich, which is a good combo meal, and they get it spot on every time here. The servers are quick and attentive, but still are friendly. Only downside is the entrance on 450 makes getting into the parking lot a bit tough from the traffic, and you can only enter from one direction. This also makes a great meetup point for those of us who ride in groups. read more

We came here on Christmas Eve and it was packed but the wait wasn't too terrible. The staff was very friendly and gave frequent updates while we waited. Once we were sat, the service was quick enough to make up for the wait. We had the mozzarella sticks and onion rings appetizer which was delicious! I had a veggie burger and mashed potatoes which were fine. The burger was nice and crispy, much better than expected. The mashed potatoes were a little bit too thin. Nothing to write home about but considering the price and quick service (and my own expectations) I was pleasantly surprised. This is a great Denny's. read more

This places 3 disorganised when it comes to waiting list. There were a lot of people of course following social distance rules but the restaurant had no way of knowing who was in order except for asking the customers. This pretty much set the tone for me but on a good note The waitress was outstanding in bringing us our food and drinks. Truly a great dining experience! My wife and i were in the neighborhood and decided to stop for brunch. The wait was minimal and the host constantly acknowledged us and kept us updated. Our server was Christine who was friendly and amazingly efficient! Wife got the crapes and 3 eggs and hash browns. I ordered the lumber jack Grand Slam. My family went to Denny's restaurant in Annapolis, Maryland on Thursday, January 26, 2023, to celebrate our granddaughter's 17th birthday and have dinner. The food, and its presentation, was excellent as to flavor and quality. The server was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us great service. Brought the fam here for early morning breakfast. My daughter had hair hanging off her toast. It was then that i noticed the lady in the kitchen had her long hair flowing unrestrained. I inquired our server and was told that hair nets and such are not required. I told her MD emplyee health code law DOES reqire hair to be retrained. ( COMAR 10.15.03.14) she disagreed with me and said she has been here for 20 some years and it has never been required. So if you dont mind the possibility of being served hairy food, enjoy this establishment. Because of the attitude, We wont be returning. Update; it is my understanding the situation has been corrected and the employees are now aware their hair must be restrained. If this is true the hairy food issue should be resolved. You'd think that a restaurant would want customers to be able to sit down so they can order and pay them for something. If not the franchise owner or manager, then at LEAST the server so they can get tipped for something. But no...the entire staff bumbled about the restaurant as far from the growing crowd at the host stand as possible while the number of empty, unbussed tables visibly increased. Once you get in here and get a table, everything is smooth sailing. We had a great server who was very attentive and friendly. The food was the consistent, hearty fair I look to from Denny's and I had to restrain myself from some attractive items I saw arriving at other tables due to a new commitment to eat more healthy. My friend and I were starving and I was happy to find that although very busy, the kitchen was on the ball and our orders came out quickly. Docking from significant stars here though as this is singularly the most irritating business I've ever tried to get into. Its impossibly located and we had to drive way out of our way and then cut across the Pier One parking lot because of the divided road with no turn access from the opposite side of the street. I have an SUV and actually considered driving across a small field to get there when our second attempt to figure out how to access the parking lot failed. Lots of folks waiting around for a table at noon on a Sunday, so if you're heading there for your post prayers pancakes, be prepared to mill around in the far to small waiting area. read more

Save your sanity and go somewhere else. While the food is decent and the servers (some) are good, the overall experience is shameful. I've gone there multiple times on a Saturday or Sunday morning for a quick breakfast, this time was the absolute last. The hostesses are the worst I've ever seen, while this includes the manager because she acts as the host too. Watching the hostess trying to seat customers is like watching "The 3 Stooges". Many tables are open while customers wait to be seated and the hostess walks (slowly) around in circles just trying to figure out what to do. Only thing that's gets you through the experience is the pure comical relief watching people trying to do their job. This place needs new management, needs to fire half their staff and put a "Now Hiring" sign out front. I'd like to note, that not all of the servers are bad, most of them run around circles around their coworkers. But safe yourself the time and go to Double T diner. read more

It's a Dennys, so if you are familiar with the chain, you know what to expect. This place is great, though, if you have a noisy gang and want to eat out but don't want to bother everyone else's dinner. With the TVs and the general bustle, this place always seems to have a lot going on, but in a well-lit environment without the whole drunken bar scene. Two MAJOR drawbacks for this location: it's impossible to get into the parking lot unless you are coming from the direction of the mall - and there are no good U-turns in the other direction. Total pain - add 10 minutes to your travel time. Don't ever order anything not on the 'regular' menu - pancakes, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns - check, check, check - consistently good and cooked right. Dinner entrees, seasonal items, anything with avocado - forget it. It will likely add 20 minutes to your wait and it could be sketchy. read more
