This was the best restaurant breakfast we'd had in a long time. I had the avocado toast with poached eggs. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the avocado toast was simple and fresh. My husband had the "traditional" and his eggs were perfectly cooked and his hash browns were crispy--just the way he likes them. We just happened to be in this area, but we will try the one that is closer to us next time and we hope to have the same great experience. Also, the service was perfect. This place is pretty good for breakfast but I would never recommend any type of steak here as the steaks are consistently the cheapest cuts and are very chewy no matter how you get them cooked. The staff is extremely nice. I usually go in with my baby and of course she gets all the attention! The pancakes also aren't the best (I think there's a little too much flour in the mix) but everything else is good. Good service always brings me back to places. read more

The first time I ate here the patty melt was great - when I ordered the same patty melt on Tuesday - I received a very sloppily made sandwich with what appeared to be Cheeze Whiz and raw onions - the meat did not even cover the bread!!! On top of that - I experienced a really bad upset stomach... C'mon - I get that there is a labor shortage plus supply prices have gone up - but really?!? That is the best ya got??? Uh... Place is very nice and homely. Coffee is good. They serve real squeezed fresh orange juice unlike Einstein Bagels that put minute maid in cups and sells for $6 bucks. The Migas were supposedly a well reviewed dish, but was extremely under seasoned, overpowered by onions, and a lack of seasoned chorizo. Went for breakfast this morning and had the corned beef hash plate. Eggs over medium were done perfect but the grits were a little too gummy and bland tasting. We ventured to this place because we enjoy trying new breakfast spots when we are visiting an area. We were not disappointed in the least. I ordered the chorizo omelette and it was very good with a large omelette, well prepared and big serving of crisp hash browns. The salsa that I had with the omelette was excellent also. I had one of the biscuits with it and that was very good. My wife had a breakfast with crepes and she said it was very good also. I tried some of her bacon and it had a great smoked flavor. Our server was Zack and he did a great job; but all the staff seemed attentive. There were two surprises. First was the speed of service. I couldn't believe how quickly the food arrived. It was obviously not "prepared"; but arrived within minutes of ordering. The second surprise was when we got the bill. The portions are Texas sized, with very reasonable price point. There is one very big negative... every item on the menu looks delicious, which makes choosing which one to get soooo very difficult. I first started going to Eggsquisite right after it opened. The staff was friendly, the prices reasonable, and the food good, not exceptional, but good. I was there yesterday for breakfast with my son, and man things have changed. our bill was way more than expected and the food was actually below average. The eggs were grey and lacked flavor and it was obvious bacon grease was used, too much of it. I have not seen the Gentleman owner there in quite a while, so it may be that the business has changed hands, which could account for the declining changes. Wont be back. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants and it's not only because of the food. As you walk up to the door you expect a long wait due to the amount of people waiting either inside or outside. This place way my Favorite go to almost everyday place. But lately it's just so bad! Idk if owner change or what? I constantly see new ppl it's like a revolving door . The food use to be phenomenal now it's cold, Greasy and forget about getting utensils or a coffee refill!! Especially for the price of a cup of coffee you'd think you'd be topped off frequently. Second time is a charm. The first time we stopped here we were told the wait would be about 20 minutes, but it was so loud inside that we decided to try another time and that time was this weekend. We stopped in about 10 until 9 o'clock, which was perfect timing. I'd say there was a constant flow of diners beginning about 9:15. The tables quickly filled, and it became very loud! FYI, I would not come here if I want to have a serious talk. It is way too loud, like cafeteria loud. This is the type of place you want to come to if you feel obligated to take your one night stand out to breakfast, but you really don't want to make conversation. Anyway, the café is decorated in mostly whites and gray (think inner Joanna Gaines) with farmhouse style touches. It has a minimalist vibe going for it. It's a cute place. So, first, there was not a wait. We were immediately seated and greeted by our waitress. She was super friendly. She took our drink orders and was back in a few minutes. I noticed a large juicer at the front of the place, so I had to try the fresh squeezed OJ. It didn't disappoint. They only have one size and it's pricey at $4.50 a cup and no refills! Good, but I wouldn't get it again. I thought the prices were a little higher than I've experienced at other places, so that's something to consider if you're going to pay for a large group or family. We had 3 in our party, which is normal for us. They don't have an expansive menu, but since they're only open for breakfast and lunch, there is more to consider for breakfast than normal. I'd say they have a decent variety of breakfast dishes, healthy, crepes, French toast, pancakes, skillets and omelets. I added pictures of the menu, so you can see for yourself. Honestly, I always try the pancakes at a new place, but I wasn't feeling pancakes, so I went for the migas. My son got the Turkey Pesto Panini (he will never order a breakfast entrée) and my spouse got the Eggsquisite Skillet. It's important to mention that my son will literally eat anything, so it's unlikely that he will say anything is bad. I noticed the bacon on his sandwich was cooked well, like not too crispy and not flimsy. Just perfect, really. I spent the rest of my meal (until he ate it) drooling over his bacon. The bread looked soft and fresh. He said the taste was good. My spouse got the skillet and we were both a little surprised by the portion size. It seemed spot on and was not oversized. There was a healthy mixture of veggies and egg, but they forgot the chicken sausage. She said she was ok with not having the sausage because the skillet was yummy. It came with toast (she always eats the toast) but didn't eat all of it because she ate the entire skillet. She was pleased with it. My migas were good. Not great, just pretty good. Everything tasted super fresh and the shredded hash browns were cooked golden, crispy brown. Overall, I'd say the food here has a home cooked meal taste to it. There isn't anything crazy or fancy about the dishes. It's just normal, which is comforting. The food isn't trendy or pretentious. It's just a good ole' breakfast place. I think that's why it's so popular and the reviews are so good. Breakfast shouldn't be over complicated, and this place does a good job of giving you what you expect for breakfast. read more
