My family and I came straight here after flying in for a weekend visit. This place is such a beautiful spot for a bright and delicious breakfast. The staff was all super kind and attentive - the owner, Mr. Meff, came around himself to refill your coffee pot. We had a veggie omelet and a veggie skillet with pancakes and toast (which apparently, defaults to big thick Texas Toast!). I understand completely that Memorial Day will make any restaurant busy but I have been to this place almost every Sunday and they are just as busy or even more. Yet! I don't understand how can our waiter walk past our table 6 times and he didn't even ask us what we would like to drink. I end up having to bother another waiter that's serving a different section to get my kids some Oj & Apple Juice. After 20 min the waiter came and took our order and I mention to him that we also wanted 2 coffees. Then it took about 30 min for him to bring our 2 coffees and 2 water! I don't know what happen to this place because I have never had a bad experience with this restaurant until now and I think the old owner who is Armenian no longer there. No manager or owner here today for me to file a complaint so I have to express my frustration on here. Now I'm just sitting here waiting for my food while the rest of my family is finishing up their's which is absolutely stupid and ridiculous. It's crazy to say but I will never take my family back to this place ever again! There are plenty of delicious restaurants around so I won't be sad that this place will be on my blacklist. FYI, if they are so busy and need empty tables then they need to pay attention to their customers to make sure everyone food is here so they can hurry up and eat so that they can release their table! Also, I have seen 2 group walk out of the place because no one acknowledged them. Lastly, they charge me a side of eggs for my 4 year old but it never came out! Came here because the reviews were very high. Service was good but food was not. Wife got the salmon Benedict which to me was a little fishy. She said she preferred a bagel with lox from Einstein's, which is not a good sign. I had two people recommend the chicken and waffle. Waffle was soggy and not crispy and the chicken was dry. Really really dry. My guess is either they are worried about undercooking the chicken or just the oil was too hot. But it tasted chewy and old and above all dry dry dry. Manager came by and they offered to remake it promising me that it is hand battered and fresh. So they did, second one was also dry and kind of gross. Literally everything was good except the food and sadly that's the part that matters. We won't be back. read more

I like this place as the people who work there are so so nice, friendly and helpful. The only thing I wish was different is the sourdough toast I wish they ordered from Empire Bakery as I think the toast is not good. If you go a few miles away there are two restaurants who pay more for their bread and to me it makes a huge difference this bread seems like wonder bread or some cheap choice. Also, I am not fond of the english muffin they put under the bennies. It seems like it is flat so nothing can go in the crevices which I think makes it much better. I agree with the high ratings as they do a good job so my only suggestion is about the bread that is all. read more

This place is a very nice to go during weekends, since there is a Kroger in the plaza, it s very convenience to go shopping after brunch. I am actually surprised how big the restaurant is and it is very neat and clean. Food is also good, I enjoyed my hot chocolate and French toasts. Our waitress was also very nice and friendly. The only reason I give a 4 star is because I know somewhere to get a bigger chicken steak at similar price point. However, by no means I am saying that their food is not enough, food is plenty and good. read more

It was SO great, I wanted to have my birthday breakfast at the "Eggsquisite" in Allen 3 weeks later! It's awesome from the time you walk in. They have really cute/unique decor on the walls, great seating and an awesome staff. Including the Owner in Allen, she walks around and greets everyone and makes sure your food is just right! We had heard good things about this restaurant but don't believe them. It was busy when we arrived but we were seated in a couple minutes. That was the only good thing that happened while we were there. The coffee was Luke warm at best and that issue carried over throughout the entire meal. The food was cold or room temperature at best rendering it with little or no taste. When we were asked how our meal was and we responded the food was really cold we received an "hmmm" and was told to have a nice day. We walked in and were sat right away. It was semi busy for 1pm on a weekday and now I see why! Blake greeted us within 2 minutes and I had already looked at the menu because I have a 4 year old who was hungry so we knew what we wanted. Blake was very patient with her because she likes interacting with people and she likes ordering her own food. She asked for a coloring page and he had one for her with coloring pencils! We ordered avocado toast, and I was surprised by how big the portions were because it came with 2 eggs and berries/or melon. I loved the avocado toast it was little toasty but I know some like it like that and it was easy to ignore! My daughter ate the eggs and berries and she said it was the best day ever! I ordered the turkey pesto panini and side Caesar salad. The panini was fantastic and the pesto was a pesto aioli of sorts and paired well with the turkey and Swiss. The turkey was an amazing amount because you know how some restaurants like to skimp on the meat. This sandwich did not have that problem whatsoever. I added some avocado from the toast(there was soo much) and added it and it brought it to the next level. The Caesar was okay I think it was my least favorite part of the meal maybe it was because everything else was out of the ballpark. It was overdressed and I like a lot of dressing but it became overpowering after a couple bites. It could have been unusual and an accident so I don't hold it against them since it was a side! They don't upcharge for salad and I really love that. We also ordered a side of hash browns and bacon. The hash browns with crispy and tasty, and my daughter ate the bacon. She said it was really good and it looked like it was cooked perfectly. Blake was really attentive and smiled and polite. My daughter says this is the best restaurant ever and that's saying something. She asked to come back tomorrow and I might just have to oblige. Don't miss out on this great spot read more

Entirely too small for massive Sunday crowd! The food was mediocre for a breakfast establishment. The worst part was they sat me in back close to kitchen n bathroom. The kitchen was extremely busy meaning servers were constantly in an out passing my table nonstop... noise in kitchen was loud not to mention the noise of chatter in a crowded restaurant! Back to my table: A line of approximately six stood nearby for restroom. I am speaking having strangers buttocks near my food til I moved my food over on table. Who wants strangers behinds in line for restroom near their food at same level? Not me... the owner apologized and asked me to come back but I won't return nor do I think it was a genuine invitation because the right thing to do as an owner if she truly wanted me back for a better experience offer a coupon/meal something that would entice me to return! That didn't happen just a sweet smooth over speech to keep from a bad review (which I informed I would be giving)! It's not about compensation for a bad experience but that's the only hope she would have had to get me there again everrrr . This place had tons of high ratings so my husband and I being new to the area took a chance. We came when they were slowing down from their Saturday brunch. Just overall, our waitress was nice. But we couldn't find her for awhile and then noticed that she was sitting with a group of people also eating breakfast the bathrooms were dirty. Hair and whatever else all over the floor.
