Surprisingly not a bad brunch spot I would come back to again hopefully in the near future. This hidden spot seems like it's buried within some office buildings, with a parking lot that seems like needs to be paid to get in, but is free, at least when we went on a weekend. We had the pork belly rice bowl, which was not bad. Theres good flavor on the pork belly, and it is a very colorful signature dish. The pork belly could be a bit juicier and slightly less dry. Also had the chilaquiles which was flavorful. Same thing the the meat that can be slightly less dry, but overall also a flavorful dish. I'm glad the sour cream on this dish isn't overwhelming. Both dishes come with a slightly runny egg on top. The coffee and the service feel standard, nothing bad or standing out.
A place you'll want to go is definitely at Eggspresso! Eggspresso was one of those hidden gems I'm glad I found. Located in an industrial area of Fullerton, it's easy to miss, but it's worth seeking out. Just remember to validate your parking, I learned that lesson the hard way and ended up paying $10. I ordered the pork belly rice bowl and a lavender latte. Calysta recommended the rice bowl, and the recommendation did not disappoint. The pork belly was perfectly crispy, and the combination of brown rice, pickled onions, avocado, arugula, and pesto was fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. The pesto was an unexpected addition that really brought the dish together. The lavender latte was just as enjoyable, and yes, the latte art got me. What stood out most was the family-owned feel. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was relaxed, and everyone was welcoming. Special shoutout to Jen for her kindness and for sharing a little about the business. If Eggspresso were closer to me, it would easily become a regular stop.
Fullerton has so many good places to eat at. So many hidden gems. Glad I came across this place. Took my aunty's for brunch and we enjoyed the lemon pancakes and the pork belly rice bowl. Latte was delicious as well. We got there around 9am on a Saturday morning, plenty of parking inside and outside. Got busy quick tho. Cool place, try them out!
Such a cute spot for brunch. I was worried about parking because its near a hospital & lots of buildings however they have their own lot & they do validate parking! Came here for lunch with my son & we got the fried rice & chicken and waffles benedict. We also got the dirty potatoes which was such a nice touch to go with the rest of our food. The strawberry lemonade is really refreshing & the matcha is so good. I love that there's outdoor seating & indoor seating! Service was great as well
Plenty of patio seating outside & inside. Great service & a clean interior. Ordered the cremini mushroom toast and subbed with dirty potatoes - delicious!! A must for mushroom fanatics. Great portion sizes too. My friends enjoyed their Kimchi fried rice & Pork belly rice bowls! I'll have to get that next time. Only downside is the paid parking. Just remember to get your ticket validated before leaving!! You get 2 free hours w validation, but anything over is $10/hour - which isn't super horrible but not fun. It's a decent cafe that delivers quality meals! Will be back!
Husband and I had breakfast here today, it was really good! The parking lot was a bit difficult as it is tiny and it seemed 50% of the spaces were reserved for other businesses. You also have to pay for parking, unless you validate, which my husband forgot to do so it was $10 for less than an hour! Make sure to remember to get the validation. We sat inside and the chairs were hard and uncomfortable. The patio seemed way nicer, I would sit out there next time. You scan a QR code on the table and order/pay from your phone before the meal. My husband did tip $10, but I didn't really see the point as there isn't much "service." Our drinks and food were brought to us, but nobody checked on us again, and since you pay up front you don't have to wait for somebody to bring you a bill. I ordered a peach jasmine iced tea, it was $6 and VERY weak, I should have stuck to water, this was not worth $6. Husband had an iced latte and said it was fine. Both of our entrees came with an arugula salad, but for an upcharge you could sub for fruit, potatoes, or mushroom fries. The upcharges were $5 and $6, yikes! This ended up being an almost $80 breakfast, and while it was tasty, I think it was too expensive. That being said, we really liked our food. He had the Breakfast Banger, a tasty sandwich with rosemary sausage, loads of cheese, a fried egg, on an english muffin. Loved the sausage! His Dirty Potatoes were good, they came with a side of creme fraiche, which wasn't needed. The potatoes are cooked with garlic and sage, yummy. My breakfast was the Croque Madam and I subbed for Portobello Fries. THE FRIES wow so good!! I wish more places had this as a side, they are delicious! They come with a really good aji sauce on the side. My Croque Madam was very good, nice sourdough bread, lots of gruyere cheese, tasty smoked ham, and whole grain mustard. The egg on top was slightly overcooked, I would have liked a more runny yolk. Overall though, we both enjoyed it.
Such a gem ; seen this place on instagram a few times so decided to give it a chance. The parking sucks you kind of have a park a little bit away but there is a parking structure nearby. The location is really nice and chill. I got the mimosas package and chicken & waffle Benedict with the eggs on the side. Everything was soo delicious. The chicken could be a little more season but once the syrup is on everything it's fine. Everything came out in a reasonable amount of time. The star of the shows is those breakfast (dirty) potatoes. 10/10 those were so good my boyfriend and I ordered another side of them . I would definitely come back such a great brunch spot
Saw this place on tiktok, cute interior with plenty of seating. food was okay, nothing crazy to rave about. - pork belly dish: pork belly kind of burnt and small portion. not a fan of brown rice, not sure if they did subs but had to order through the online qr code. fish salmon benedict was pretty salty too. nice spot to vibe out at but would maybe try other dishes besides these. not a ton of interaction with staff is everything is basically self-service, which is up to your preference of dining out. would possibly give this place another shot. parking is a bit tricky too, as it is a very small lot so be prepared for brunch on a busy weeknd.
One of our go to favorite brunch spots! I usually get the Classic Breakfast plate but I was really feeling kimchi fried rice, which was delicious, the Korean pickled radish was a nice surprise and added a sweetness that I didn't know I'd enjoy as much as I did. Aside from their classic breakfast, their chilaquiles special is really what we came here for. They use ropa vieja for the protein and it's so tasty! I like that this spot is a casual brunch spot with no frills in terms of the dining experience. I like to eat in on the patio when I dine here.
I know it'll be a good start to my day when I eat here. The food feels hearty and healthy while being fulfilling and tasty. This time around I had the green goddess salad and my daughter had the pork belly rice bowls. In my journey to healthy eating I opted for the salad but I couldn't resist the hot lavender latte. The salad was alright, I felt the chicken could've used a bit more seasoning or the dressing needed more flavor, regardless I ate most of it. The pork belly rice was super yummy, of course that plate was gone quickly. I really enjoy coming here, and sitting inside or outside depending on the weather and enjoying a nice cup of coffee.
Saw a Chorizo Burrito on Yelp and it looked delicious. But turns out they don't offer that anymore so I was bummed. Ended up getting the Classic Breakfast - 2 eggs, 3 sourdough toasts, 2 sausages, dirty potatoes, and jam. Everything was decent. The Breakfast Banger was OK. A little messy and greasy. The muffin was too soft for me. I wish the ordering app had a Special Instructions so I can request for the potatoes to be crispy or butter or whatever. If I go to the counter and ask for these things, by the time I get to the front of the line the food already comes out. Unfortunately, nothing on the menu really jumps out at me so not sure if I'll come back.
Came by to try something different than the standard breakfast options. Conveniently located next to St Jude hospital area, the private parking lot currently does not require validation or payment. The Egg white omelette special was really good. Lightly seasoned with butter, spinach, chicken, cheese, potatoes/sweet potatoes and other herbs, this was a fairly big portion for one to finish. It's both filling but light at the same time for breakfast. Came with a side of their arugula salad, gives a nutty flavor to it. The other dish, my wife tried it and it was also delicious. Avocado toast with smoke salmon and a half of hard boiled egg on each. This is good for the savory, buttery texture if you were craving this in the morning. Each dish is about $20 per, and felt it was a good value for the dishes. Staff was quick, friendly, and mainly stayed behind the counter. Decor is bright, inviting, and has outdoor seating if preferred.
I'm super confused by the 5 star reviews. We ordered the Chilaquiles (not on regular menu) and Kimchi Rice and both were disappointing. The Chilaquiles lacked flavor and the Kimchi Rice tasted like ketchup rice. It was abnormally sweet and there was very little meat. Im guessing it does well due to the people working at the medical offices not wanting to lose their parking spots so they eat where they can walk to.

We went here early on a weekday so not to many people but I can picture this busy during peak times. The service was quick and most importantly the FOOD was DELICIOUS. This was our first time here and the food was so flavorful. I can't wait to come back and try something else... read more

I tried the Strawberry Matcha, and it was actually better than I expected. At first, I wasn't sure if strawberry and matcha would go well together, but after the first sip, I totally got the hype. You get this sweet and fruity strawberry flavor up front, and then the earthy matcha kicks in--surprisingly well-balanced and not too overwhelming. It's a great pick when you're not in the mood for coffee but still want something fun and refreshing. Plus, it's super Instagram-worthy, so definitely a vibe. If you're into matcha or just want to switch things up, I'd totally recommend giving it a shot! read more

I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. The food was phenomenal. Loved the house made sausage patties and the pear French toast. The pears made in house clearly are the star of the show. Service was good. Pick up was a little confusing waited in line when I didn't think I need too - I know for next time. Price is a little high but overall I enjoyed my food. read more

Perfect little brunch spot with good vibes, great coffee and amazing food. Make sure to get your parking validated before you leave. You order and then pick an open table to sit at. There's plenty of seating, especially outside. My faves were the seasonal fruit toast, portobello fries and pork belly rice bowl. The fruit toast was definitely a surprise! Must try if you you're in the mood for something light, sweet and crunchy. Judging by the food we ordered, I don't think there would be a any misses. Would come back for sure! read more

However, today I tried the Bacon Jam BLT (sub chicken) and wow it might actually be a close 1st. Their new lychee coconut matcha may just be a seasonal drink but I hope it stays around cause it's becoming one of my favorites. So refreshing and perfectly sweet especially as the weather has been getting hotter. read more

this place is all self service. i came in the morning so it was pretty empty and parking lot was empty as too (validated). you order on the menu and also clean up after urself sadly. the chicken and waffles benedict was good. the chicken is tiny but amazingly fried and i loved the sauce that came with it. the waffles were kinda super dry tho. the pork rice bowl was good and i think the pork was cooked very well. i think the thing i didnt like about this place was the self service part. i mean, when u order it u have to pay it right away too and theres an option for tip. to me i think that pressures people to have to tip good or else they wont be getting their food made well or fast. there is a person standing there in case u need questions but they would help u at all with clearing the tables. ive been to other places where ive had to clear the table myself and this spot is just extremely hard to do so because its a huge box and u have to reach inside to dump ur food in, and its just not easy at all. read more

Solid brunch spot in Fullerton! The parking lot requires you to get a ticket but you can just ask for validation up to two hours, and the staff there are so nice that even if you stay longer than two hours (like I did) they validate it once more so you don't have to pay. So thank you thank you! I got the croque madame and loved the crispy texture of the bread but "meltyness" of the inside. It wasn't overly oily and buttery, and the egg on top was the perfect touch. I wasn't a big fan of the side salad, it just tasted like plain arugula. My friend had the classic breakfast, and as the name suggests, it was just a classic breakfast. I would def come back and get the croque madame again and replace the salad with fruit next time. read more

We came over after an early tennis game to beat the morning heat wave, and we were treated with a delicious spread of brunch foods. First time here and it wasn't as good as the reviews say in my opinion. I think it was overpriced for the quality of food. The portabello fries weren't crispy but the batter was seasoned 3/5 The dirty potatoes were plain and bland. Didn't taste the garlic or even salt. We had to add salt and pepper. I was hoping they'd be a little crunchy since they're fried but they were soft and just tasted like boiled potatoes. Maybe we just got a bad batch but they weren't worth 9 dollars. 1/5 The chicken sandwhich was decent. Nothing special and I should have taken a picture of the chicken because it was small. Awesome! Good food and it's quite pricey BUT! It's worth, i must say it's worth, the meat is so good and a lot! The bread they use is good! The Kalbi Mac and Cheese, oh wow, the Kalbi is good and soft for my toddler to eat, both likes it so it's a winning menu for me, not to cheesy taste, all are so well! The pork belly rice is adequate for sharing, the portion is big (for me it's big) so yes, it's best for sharing! The meat is generous and it's in big chunks, so it fills well! The veggies on the side of the sandwich is fresh. For service it's also good. Don't forget to validate the ticket! We also ordered the latte, which I like as well. Will we be back again? We might! Was expecting a little more from all the hype it's been receiving everywhere but was mediocre at best. The service was okay, our straws were just tossed on our table from the lady working but the gentleman provided good service. Was glad that they do offer free 2 hour parking but isn't somewhere I'd go again. The food was good, especially presentation but not anything special. read more

A tad bit pricey but hey, what isn't in 2023. The spot was crowded and inside seats were at a premium. They have ample outdoor seating and 2-hour validation for parking. I got the Breakfast Banger- English muffin with fried eggs and a delicious sausage patty and some green lettuce on it. I didn't get the cheese. It also came with a simple salad with red onion in it. A cup of coffee was at least $4, and I got almond milk in it. No Splenda, just sugar and stevia. Really lively atmosphere with various people and families.I'm glad that I came. I think that my wife will like it when I bring her. read more

Food is excellent. Love all the greens on my plate. The side salad was fresh. The creamed spinach goes well with the smoke salmon. The Portobello fries was so tasty, even without the savory dip. Staff were friendly, made sure we got our validations covered since we were there quite long. In the inside dinning area is a bit small, but there is plenty of seats outside. There is a gated parking lot , but again they do validate. They can use a lot more parking spaces but since we went on a Sunday, some parking stalls that was assigned to the other business there was not open so many people parked at those spots and it was OK. read more
What I appreciate the most is that the food is served so fresh. The lemon cream pancakes are excellent. The pancake is light and fluffy and topped with a scrumptious lemon whip cream. The breakfast banger sandwich is simple yet delicious. What kept it from a 5* was that the bacon in the salad didn't seem like it was cooked at the restaurant (or maybe it was made days earlier). Also the prices are on the steeper side. The service was excellent and the location has indoor and a nice patio area. Eggspresso is definitely worth coming to. read more
Had the Mrs Eggspresso on this trip. It was so good! Crispy, well seasoned chicken, maple slaw, sriracha mayo, pickle. The textures and flavors worked so great together. We went to Eggspresso for brunch today. I ordered the "Mr. Egspresso" which was an egg sandwich with a brioche bun. I also had a side of fingerling potatoes which had a sour cream dip. My SO ordered a breakfast burrito and a side of bacon. The burrito came with salsa and the bacon had a green sauce accompanying it. The food was good and came out fairly quickly. I truly enjoyed everything about this place from the ambiance, food, service, and drinks! I got the vanilla latte, pain perdu, and mrs.eggspresso. The vanilla latte was very good with a strong coffee taste. The pain perdu I highly recommend for those that like french toasts! And thr mrs.eggspresso was amazing! Probably my favorite there! It's a fried chicken sandwich with cole slaw and sauce in a bun! The only con I can really think of is the price. A little on the more expensive side, but worth! read more

I mean, the coffee's good and the staff are nice. Thats really about it. Look Eggspresso's a nicely decorated brunch spot with plenty of space to sit, chat, and drink coffee. The food is kind of just an accessory here, and you can really tell by how it tastes. Which is bad. The pork belly rice bowl, which is so hyped up here, literally tastes like it was made yesterday. The pork is kind of crusty and while tender, really not anything impressive. The portobello fries are also not crispy at all, so you're really just eating breaded mushroom - which is fine, but temper your expectations. The coffee is great though, strong with well balanced flavors. It's probably worth it to come for the coffee, and then have some forgettable finger food to chat over. read more

I'm so glad we found this gem. We happened to come across this place looking for a breakfast spot open later in the afternoon. We came back a few weekends later - it was still great. He had the croque madame. We shared the dirty potatoes. I had the off-menu special: egg white omelette with grilled chicken and butternut squash. DAVOON! Hope they add it to the menu permanently. The matcha is delicious and has the option to come unsweetened!! Praise God! We'll be back for more. read more

One of my favorite brunch spots in Fullerton!! Fantastic food, coffee and great service! If you are a coffee snob like me...you need to definitely check this spot out! I genuinely crave their espresso tonic and honey oat milk latte at least once a week! Few of my favorites from the menu, the fruit toast with seasonal fruits, chicken and waffles, portobello fries and kimchi friend rice are my favorites. The flavors are well balanced and cooked to perfection. Portobello fries are literally one of the best l I've tried. It's so good, I promise, you will be coming back for it the next day! This is a pretty great brunch spot to go to if you're in the area. Not only is the food delicious but the drinks are as well. After you order, you find a seat and they will bring the food to you. You do have to get up though to pick up your coffee from the bar. At this point, I've tried every single item on the menu and there is not one that is not delicious. They also offer a stamp card, which is nice because you can also redeem it for a free drink once you fill it up. There is plenty of seating outside and a couple tables inside. It can sometimes get a bit busy but the food always comes out pretty quickly. read more

Before making our trip to Disneyland, we stopped by to grab breakfast here. We ordered the pork belly rice bowl and kimchi fried rice. To fuel us for the day, we ordered a black hole (charcoal latte with house made rosemary syrup) and a regular caramel latte. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and were quite full. If you order any charcoal drink, be mindful that your teeth or tongue may be stained a little. It does not linger too long, but just keep that in mind. Customer service and ambiance of the place was friendly and welcoming. The staff working were helpful with any clarifying questions we had when ordering. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking in the area was a little confusing for us since we are not familiar with the area, but the restaurant will validate for parking, so do not worry too much about that. read more

Very nice casual brunch spot. Plenty of seating and parking. The food is really good and the coffee is decent. Extremely friendly service as well! Chicken and Waffles Benedict: Classic chicken and waffles, but with a twist! The hollandaise sauce that comes with it is well done. Buttery and rich with flavor. The eggs came perfectly poached. The chicken was okay, pretty crisp but the meat was mid. Waffles were kind of soft too but the hollandaise, syrup, and eggs completely made up for it. 8.5/10 Mr Eggspresso: Breakfast sandwich with turkey, pesto, cheese, scrambled egg on a brioche bun. Pretty tasty, but lacked in comparison to the chicken and waffles benedict. The salad on the side was really good! 7/10 read more
