Great breakfast spot with a large menu, friendly staff and good food! I went here on a weekend morning and was sat immediately. Since it was my first time visiting, I was happily surprised at the large menu and specials. To start, I ordered a hot latte with almond milk. It was really good! For food, I decided on the Goodness Gracious Omelet, which is an egg white omelet with spinach, onions, mushrooms, and feta cheese topped with sliced tomatoes. I also added turkey bacon for a small upcharge and opted for the fruit instead of the home fries. Everything was really good! There were a lot of tables inside and there is outdoor seating as well. Our server was so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

For a diner experience, I'm giving five stars. The interior was so light and airy, fun kitschy artwork graced the walls, furniture was simple but attractive, atmosphere bustled and the staff were all cordial and helpful. The menu was well organized and easy to read, a big plus when a restaurant offers so many varied items. There would be a major issue if a customer couldn't find something to appeal to his or her palate here. So many dishes sounded so tempting....freshly made croissant donuts, crème brûlée French toast, crab cake Benedict, chicken fried steak n eggs, Belgian waffles, buttermilk, caramel apple, and strawberries n cream pancakes, breakfast platters, burritos, omelettes, bowls, etc etc. Lunch items included burgers, salads, melts and sandwiches. Better come hungry as the ample portions would easily fill up most stomachs. My husband and I sat at the counter as we were pressed for time. We split a perfectly made patty melt with fries. Usually this preparation is made on rye but the expertly griddled Texas toast was just as good. We have eaten enough of our share of smash patties, but theirs stood out in spades. The meat actually had the lacy crispy edges that this preparation is supposed to create. Bonus that some of the American and Swiss cheeses oozed out and caramelized as well creating a toasty, nutty, decadent flavor. Fries could have been better had they had a quick dunk in some hot oil before serving. The spuds were then tossed in some light spices, but it really didn't do much to add flavor. Better to perfect a great fried potato than trying to introduce a spice mix that fell flat. Yes, we will be back. It's the perfect spot to stop at if you're taking the back roads to Savannah.

Excellent brunch meal on a Sunday afternoon!…read more This is an active farm with home grown veggies and chickens for eggs and more (maybe)? Because chick. Is certainly a star of the menu! It was for our meal - complete with chicken legs and chicken livers and chicken nuggets asking with some good sides including deviled eggs with homemade bacon bits. We also had Mac n cheese, broccoli casserole, tomato and cucumber salad and green beans. They have great hours including brunch until 3pm on Sundays - and they seat until 3pm, which we were grateful for, as we arrived just prior to 3pm. We called ahead to be sure this was acceptable and we were told with friendly, welcoming voices that as long as we were seated before 3pm, we were welcome - so here we are! Yum yum! Checkered red and white table cloths, chicken pens out back, the garden patch complete with scarecrows and a perimeter fence to help keep the critters out are all featured at the locale! There is plenty of hubbub about this place on the talking boards and review boards - and now we've added our two cents - which reminds me that the prices are really reasonable and the service was fantastic! The fried chicken was hot as a fire cracker - freshly made with a fantasist batter. The livers were outstanding and also served piping hot! All the veggies and casseroles were super and served at the perfect temp! The salad and beets were so tasty and they were served chilled and were perfect! Kitschy and clean - and not a bit of mean! We will be back!

Danielle was our waitress and did a great job with taking orders and making sure we all had separate checks. Parking can be a bit challenging since there are only several parking spots in front, but you can also find parking on the side road and near the other parking lot areas. They have a drive through as well. They were somewhat busy when I was there around 11:30, but plenty of tables for customers including an outside porch area. For lunch, I ordered the Soup and Half Sandwich for $10. I substituted the She Crab soup for an extra $2.95 which was very much worth it. For the half sandwich I had the ham and swiss cheese on sourdough bread. Very thick ham and the bread was toasted. It was excellent. I highly recommend the She Crab Soup. It's worth it.

The eggs were what you'd expect, the hash browns were god awful, luck warm at best and very soggy with no flavor at all, the bacon was junk, the sausage links were ok. No jam or butter for the toast and dry as all get out. Her sandwich was just as bad, looked like they sprinkled 5 shreds of cheese on it and the sausage patty was soooo small. The fruit was not edible at all. The service was decent and that's why I'm giving two stars and not one. This is a one and done for us. Way better options in the area for better food and price. They are WAY over priced btw. You go and decide. It's just my opinion.
