You place your order at the counter before seating yourself. The people behind the counter were sweet and helpful. We ordered the pink skies drink, which they advertised as tasting similar to a Starbucks pink drink. To me, it tasted more like a strawberry daiquiri. It was sweet and not super creamy. It had a strawberry puree, which gave it the sweet taste. The Italian sandwich had a great flavor - it had a sweet Italian dressing, mayo on the bread, fresh lettuce, cheese, and several meats including baloney, salami, and pepperoni. The bread was soft and fresh. The cucumber salad got a little soggy in the vinegar mix. They were perfectly salty, but could have been a bit more sweet for my personal taste.

The bread they use is similar to an airy pizza crust, and topped with their three blends of cheese that are melted onto the bread before the meats and toppings are added. I've had almost the entire menu over the years, but my favorite is the simple sliced turkey, with lettuce, tomato (which I opt out of sometimes just because I'm not a huge tomato on a sandwich guy, unless it's an actual tomato sandwich...), onion, and then I ask to add their garlic mayo and banana peppers, and sometimes jalapeños. Their turkey club is a second favorite if I'm craving bacon on my sandwich (they also have a jalapeño bacon!). Their other deli sandwiches are great, like the original with a mix of luncheon and other deli meats. I love their lesser known meatball sandwich and cheeseburger. My wife's favorite is the pastrami. The staff at Alvin Ord's are some of the nicest folks I've met in the restaurant industry, and they're always super helpful to new and old customers alike. The vibe of the shop is like a little beachside surf shop, super casual and comfy, with indoor seating at mismatched tables, along with two screened in porches--one that's dog friendly. I can't recommend this place enough. I'd eat here every other day if I could--and that's only because I usually turn my regular sized sandwich into two days of lunch.

It really isn't a turkey club. It's more of a turkey sandwich with the fixings of a club. What I did not like at all was the bread. It totally killed the sandwich for me. It left a bad after taste. I can't really explain it. It just wasn't good. The turkey was ok. For the price of the sandwich though, I would have expected more turkey on it. There is a much better option across the street. Try Downtown Deli. It is superior to this establishment. Again, just my opinion. Try it for your self.

The gravy is flavorful with spices and the chicken is crunchy and juicy at the same time. The sweet potatoes are sooo creamy and delicious I genuinely think about them all the time. The avacado salad is refreshing and consistent every single time I come! May I also add that this is one of the places that actually makes a proper espresso martini? Outstanding! I ordered the Fat Boy and she got the Jedi, and both were excellent. The Fat Boy was loaded -- pastrami, roast beef, turkey, ham, capicola, pepperoni, salami, provolone, plus all the fresh veggies and dressings on that soft, fresh-baked bread. Huge portion and packed with flavor. My wife's Jedi (the Italian) was just as good: Genoa salami, spicy capicola, pepperoni, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and Italian dressing. Perfect balance and really fresh. Friendly service, quick, and right in the heart of Coligny. Highly recommend if you're craving a solid sub near the beach. We'll be back!

We got the Philly sandwich on a great gluten free bun and the Power Bowl with shrimp. Both were WONDERFUL! The Philly y'all. ALL DAY. The peppers, the deliciously seasoned beef, the great bun, all fabulous! The Power Bowl was filling, fresh, and I loved all the plump shrimp! I also appreciated that they put the dressing on the side! Cappy's Allergen Friendly Bakery sells their cookies here, and do NOT sleep on the Iced Oatmeal cookie. Some may hesitate because it is soy, dairy, nut, and gluten free, but that may have been one of the best cookies I've eaten ever.
