Picked Gr8 Bites for lunch (takeout); it looked like a cute little cafe with breakfast, lunch, and even ice cream. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwiches to go... They were ok, but for the price ($15) not great.. keep in mind fries/sides are not offered with the sandwiches and are full price to add to the order. They did technically put a little ketchup sized container of a pasta and potato salad, but that's like a bites worth... we didnt try either. For $15 a pop, I expect a nice big overflowing Philly or at least a side with my sandwich - this unfortunately was neither. It still tasted good but was rather mediocre. Kinda like if I grabbed a small hoagie roll from the store, cut up some beef strips, and added some peppers/onions, and cheese... nothing special and not bang for buck. I will maybe try an ice cream or something when I'm back in the area, but there are a lot of better options around. read more

Long wait for food. No refills on drinks offered had to ask. Slow service. Restaurant wasn't packed tables were open. We were a table of 3 and the tables that came in after us, were served their orders before us. No one acknowledged that we were not served. read more

I have to say I had stopped by to pick up some of their delicious soup on a chilly day and the usual server was not there. The two teenage girls were very rude and definitely need a lesson on proper customer service! The usual server is quite lovely and very accommodating! I went there on Thanksgiving for brunch and she was very attentive and made my lonely day, feel a bit better. Quiet little place, seems to be a lot of locals dining there. read more

We had a wonderful breakfast here and would definitely return. The croissant was one of the best we have had outside of Europe.

My wife and I had breakfast here on Friday. I read a bunch of reviews on yelp before I went, since I was a little concerned about the location in a not great strip mall. But the reviews were spot on. Friendly owner, cute and immaculately clean store, and the food was very good. We will return. We have a condo on the north end, and the restaurant selection in this area is not as prolific as it is on the south end, as everyone knows, so I enjoy discovering places like this that I can easily bike to. My wife got Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on a croissant, and I got the daily special, which was cinnamon swirl French toast with eggs and bacon. I think we will go for lunch next time, as a Nathan's hotdog is calling my name. read more

Had lunch here with my wife. Cute sandwich and ice cream shop. We both ordered sandwiches, which both were soggy. My wife' chicken sandwich looked like the chicken was pre-cooked and microwaved to order. I had a ruben, which was extremely soggy since no one bothered to drain and press the sauerkrout. I had a side of chili, which was nothing other than just ordinary. It had been heated up by chef microwave as the middle was hot and the outside was barely warm. The restaurant was not busy yet, we waited over 30 minutes for our food. I'm disappointed at best. We will not return. read more

Tucked away in Main Street Village, this place is really cute! It's a little ice cream parlor and lunch spot with a solid seating area. My friend and I came for lunch here. The food was pretty good! All I wanted was a breakfast sandwich to go. It's tough to find a good spot when you're new to a region AND the community hides everything behind rows of trees and minimalist signage. So I Yelped my search and this place seemed interested. I popped in and was met by the brightest, kindest, friendliest lady behind the counter. It was obviously busy but she smiled, showed interest, finished her phone order and was patient as I placed my order. It was ready in a few minutes and when I opened the container I was thrilled to see a large home cooked sandwich! It was delicious, hot, fresh and filling. The place had sit down and to go. We visit HHI every year but this is our first time to try Gr8 Bites. It is a very unassuming spot close to the movie theater. The menu is very diverse with super high the quality food and ingredients. We had the pork schnitzel, pananis, and navy bean soup. All were excellent and exceeded our expectations. They also had great vegetarian options, too. They have tons of ice cream treats as well. Service was top notch as well. Will definitely be back! read more

Just finished breakfast here and looking forward to coming back again. Staff are friendly, adhering to mask/hand sanitizer, etc. protocols. Gr8 Bites is open for breakfast and lunch. Gr8 Bites came recommended by a new neighbor, so we tried it out. My wife had a vegetable Omelet and I had a Western Omelet. Both came with fantastic home fries and an English muffin. We noticed that they had mushroom soup as the soup of the day. We got a quart and had it for our lunch the following day. Stopped in here for the first time for breakfast which is served all day (nice since I sleep late on vacation). It was so good and the service was wonderful. The only thing is you are served at your table but then have to pay at the register which felt like take out so I completely forgot to tip. I am so sorry.
