Very small location in a shopping center near the beach. On a dreary Sunday morning we stopped for breakfast at 10:45 - and was surprised that the place was not crowded. We reviewed the menu and placed our orders at the counter, which were quickly delivered to our table by the cashier. However, on an island where everything seems overpriced, this is a wonderful find. I have been coming to the island for about 8 years now and enjoy starting my first day on the island eating here. A good, simple, very well-cooked meal by an award-winning chef. You can sit outside or inside. Everyone is always friendly, from the staff to the customers eating. I always come alone but have never felt alone. Some other notable things that I appreciate are being able to see where my food is being cooked and the open counter. I love that no matter how long or short the line is, the food always seems to take about the same amount of time and is always on point. However, the thing that stands out the most for me is the fact that over the years and with all the customers they seem to serve, they always remember me and it makes me feel like I'm walking into a family member's house to get a meal. I look forward to coming back next year and catching up and seeing the changes. read more

My wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch and both decided to try the best rated burger on HHI! It wasn't bad! The burger is almost like a meatloaf consistency and thick, not like the popular smash burgers that are the rave right now. The fries were fresh cut and HOT when they came out! The burger was hot too! It may not have been the best burger I have ever had, but it was the best burger I have had on the Island! Although, to be fair, it is the only burger I have had on the island... The staff was super friendly and although the inside was cramped, it was well air conditioned and a nice break from the heat! This is not a 5 star dining establishment and not looking for a James Beard award, it's a beach burger shack and it delivers! To those about to dine, I salute you! read more

I enjoyed this restaurant. Came early in the morning, no wait and sat outside and enjoyed the weather & scenery. It's in a good area by the beach. The burrito was extremely good. The gravy tasted a lot like the flour wasn't cooked out all the way. I'm sure other things on their menu are just as good as the burrito. read more

Went down for breakfast this week and it was so cold in the restaurant that we opted to eat outside. My husband got pancakes and I ordered the waffles. They were very nice and heated up the syrup but I asked what kind of syrup is it and was told "maple" but it wasn't . The waffles were too sweet with sugar on top of the fact that they are sweet to begin with so did not enjoy that too much or the plastic cutlery we were given. read more

This cozy restaurant was clean and friendly. They have a local radio station playing and local hot sauces. I really appreciate that and the garlic one was so good that I'm going to go to the store down the road and buy it. The coffee was hot and flavorful. They checked several times to see if we wanted more or needed anything else. My omelette and potatoes was good. Nothing special, nothing memorable. Cooked to order breakfast, so it was fresh and hot. My burrito ingredients with eggs, cheese and veggies was prepared well. I'm often reluctant to order this meal, as I find many restaurants just combine a thick omelet and then layer other ingredients on top of it. Here at least the eggs were scrambled and integrated with all the add ons. Unfortunately, even with the side of salsa, the flavor of the dish was incredibly bland. . After two bites, my tastebuds were bored. Where was the punch from all the incredible Mexican spices? None of the individual components were well seasoned. My husband's two fried egg breakfast with spuds and toast suffered from the same. I could easily cook up a morning meal so much better than we had here. No reason to give them another shot. Besides, the two guys behind the counter seemed more concerned with a bar fly seated at the counter who was lamenting about her life. Really? We came here for a late lunch the day after Christmas. We were glad to see this open, as a lot of places were still closed. We were scoping out the menu outside and a few passerbys told us that this place was great. They have outdoor seating which we took advantage of, even though it was a little chilly. We ordered the pesto chicken sandwich and the BBQ pulled pork waffle. We liked both of these. The cole slaw that I got with the pesto chicken sandwich was really good and creamy. I liked the bread on the chicken sandwich. The BBQ pulled pork came with a big portion of fries and a heaping mound of the yummy cole slaw on top. I stole a few fries, they were good. I also stole a little bite of the waffle. I liked the waffle, it was really sweet and vanilla-y. If I were to get the chicken and waffle sandwich, I would see about getting the syrup and sugar on the side, as the waffle is already really sweet. Overall really good experience here! read more

Haha, what a great name. They defintiely are a Fusion of Mexican and American. Biscuits and gravy are nice, the huevoes Rancheros were not what I was expecting with fried tortillas but it was a not bad experience. Chorizo always makes things better. It's defintiely packed inside so if it's a cold morning be prepared to be in the cold shade outside. The inside defintiely had a warm cozy free but max they can fit would be four people, couldn't even fit a fifth at the end if you wanted to due to how small and narrow it was. read more

Cool little diner in a quiet corner of this touristy shopping district. Definitely has a great 'greasy spoon' vibe. Very limited seating inside so expect to sit outside. I'd guess given the amount positive reviews that the breakfast menu is quite good.- unfortunately we ordered lunch items. My biggest issue was with the hamburger which somehow they posts signs in the windows as "chosen best of the island". Not a chance. Really not even a hamburger in my opinion.
