What a joke of a restaurant! Sign out front stating an extra egg charge due to egg price increase nationally.. guess what egg prices have leveled out so why not take this bs charge away. That's not just a "small increase" on ur old pricing folks! And be aware, the weight staff at this facility loves to extra charge you for anything they can come up with! I asked one day for a club sandwich to which the waitress said ham and Turkey club sir and I said of course. When I got my bill I was being charged extra For the turkey. They sell a ham club and they sell a turkey club, but they don't sell a good old American club, which includes both turkey, ham and bacon. Many markup tricks to their menu. You can easily visit this place and have your significant other with you and walk out with a $40-$50 bill! For breakfast? I'm less than a mile from this place, but I would rather wait for the Sunday brunch at Frankie bones, full blown buffet and a heck of a lot cheaper than the screw you outta your money Omelette Café. You enter the restaurant not expecting the stark sterile look of the interior. Reminds me of an industrial cafeteria. I would be generous in giving the interior 2 stars. My server gave positive review of the cheesesteak sandwich. Overall the sandwich had sufficient filing but it was grilled in a lot of oil. The onion rings were good. The grits were terrible. The other menu items rated 3 stars. Our server was accommodating and attentive. Rate service 4 stars. Average the ratings to a 3 star. Ar 9am on a Sunday, I was a little apprehensive about visiting a small, neighborhood breakfast place during the pandemic. When we walked in, there was a line that started too close to the door to enable safe distancing. There was no one monitoring it. It was a seat-yourself type of place and I didn't like the options at all. The tables are VERY close together, making social distancing impossible. I was about to tell my buddy I'd rather go somewhere else, when she pointed out a large booth on the end. I reluctantly agreed, since it enabled us to be somewhat distanced from other tables. Our server approached us quickly. She was pleasant and quick about taking our order, suggesting grits, jelly for my toast, etc. Her service, and the taste and value of the delicious food will have me returning after the pandemic is over, but not before. I just happened to look over and see this place after I left McDonald's in disgust over the unfriendliness, attitude, and lack of CS there. Couldn't believe this place, omelette, toast, coffee, grits for under $11 incl tax. Rona and other servers welcomed everybody who came in and said goodbye to everyone, sincerely smiling, kept coffee topped off, offered to give me coffee to go. I had a grits bowl with onions and pork sausage, it came with toast. I had cinnamon toast. I also had a half order of biscuits and gravy. My wife had the breakfast burritos, with eggs, cheese, green pepper, and ham inside the burrito. The grits bowl was very good, the cinnamon toast was OK, but the biscuits and gravy were not very good. The biscuits were chewy and the gravy flavorless. The breakfast burritos were good. Not sure why this place has a mid range rating but I Have to say I was nicely surprised. Looking for a very early morning breakfast after an airport run. A bit off the main drag by a quarter mile in a storefront. However, being the first customers of the day at 6:30 the place was getting ready. Greeted as soon as we walked in, picked our own table, good breakfast menu is as you expect for a dinner. Large booths for families. The place was very clean with no signs of need repair. tables well stocked ( salt/pepper, napkins, cream, sugar, etc,) floors and bathroom were very clean. I checked the kitchen which is open to the seating area, well organized and clean. Service was great. Several contacts for ordering and follow up. Omelettes we ordered were large and very good. Hash browns were good but if you like more crispy just ask. They were good in my case. Wife had grits....said they were also good. Best of all.....very budget friendly. $22 plus a $10 tip to server, $7 to cook and a take home tray as the servings were a bit large. read more

The waffle was your basic waffle no frills nothing special to it. The chicken was not at all what I was expecting as it was chicken cutlets, very dry chicken cutlets. The best part of the meal was the honey mustard sauce lol. The worst part is that 30 minutes later my family and I got viciously sick for hours. I'm not sure if something was old, or dirty oil, or unsanitary during cooking but that is not worth the risk of ever returning to this place.
