Le Café Gourmet is truly a gem. I recently purchased several small quiches (asparagus, artichoke,…read moreand bacon and cheddar) from Le Café Gourmet for an event, and they were an absolute hit! Every single one was delicious, and everyone was raving about them. The pastry was flaky and buttery, and the fillings were full of flavor. If you're looking for delicious, high-quality food for a gathering or special occasion, I highly recommend Le Café Gourmet. Beyond the quiches, their muffins, pastries, pies, cookies and coffee are all fantastic. They offer a wonderful assortment of baked goods, and everything I've tried has been outstanding. Their sandwiches are absolutely delicious as well. The café itself is adorable. The furnishings and décor make you feel as though you've stepped into a charming Paris café. It has such a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to sit, relax, and savor every bite. Le Café Gourmet is one of those places where the quality shines through in everything they do. Whether you stop by for coffee and pastry, a sandwich for lunch, or food for a gathering, you simply can't go wrong. I highly recommend Le Café Gourmet.

I did not have one but if the other food was an indicator, they were delicious. The service was good even though they were packed with customers. The owner was bringing out coffee and bussing tables. Also very good prices compared with other places in the neighborhood. All in all, I would definitely return when in town.

A really fun find in Charleston! This crepe house (also sandwiches) was a real delight. We chose…read morea Brittany breakfast crepe (ham, egg, and cheddar, $16) and a sweet John's Island crepe (bananas, brown sugar, brown butter, $9). Both were generous with fillings, great flavor, and carefully cooked (so easy to burn a crepe....) I also got a lunch special, which was a reuben with cabbage and potatoes as sides. I do not remember the price, but this was a real meal. The bread held up well, the sides were well seasoned, and I enjoyed every bite. Coffee (self serve) was good quality and they made sure the pot was never empty. Service was from the counter and was genuinely friendly. They were all part of the casual atmosphere. The place is relaxed and has a real neighborhood vibe. We ate many great meals during our stay in Charleston, many fancy and some low key. Queen Street stands out as the most pleasant of surprises.

We were kindly greeted by Devin upon entering the restaurant and told we could sit wherever we liked - at the bar, around the corner in the restaurant area or even outside on the large tree-surrounded patio. Lots of breakfast options on the menu (I forgot to snap a pic). Apparently they are famous for their crepes, but when I asked Devin for a suggestion he said Eggs Benedict for sure! Devin was really busy seemingly running the place by himself but still paid good attention to us. (We eventually saw a couple more employees.) I thoroughly enjoyed my Eggs Benedict. Husband had sausage gravy and biscuits plus a couple eggs. I'm sorry but the biscuits had an odd taste, although the sausage gravy was good and had a LOT of meat. Overall great breakfast dining experience. I'll try the crepes next time

Not only was it flavorful, but the fruit was placed so precisely, it was a work of art (and of the heart). The Horchata Frappe was yummy and came topped with two small cookies. The interior is brightly colored, with cute tables and chairs of different colors. All very bright and clean. The you lady who took our order and the young man who brought us our Açaí Bowls were both pleasant and helpful. I wish we had stumbled upon this place before our last day because we would have come here everyday!

Border bites was a really cute late night snack/dessert experience. I had read a lot of reviews and…read moresaw a lot of pictures before I got a chance to check it out and I was kinda on the fence about what exactly they offered; but once I tried it myself I actually thought it was a really great idea. Savannah has a lack of late night snack food locations. I don't think this place necessarily stays open late, but it's nice if you want a little snack or a nice sweet treat because a lot of those places close relatively early. I started off by getting a fresh strawberry Aquafresca, my wife tried the Horchata latte and I had the crêpes with the strawberries and whipped cream. The customer service was really great. The woman upfront was really friendly and welcoming. The chef also came out and was really friendly. The drinks were really really good and the crêpes you can tell they were made fresh and literally made within a few minutes. This is super close to my house, I'll definitely be back to check out more items and spread the word. I am definitely interested in trying some of the other different snack options. Some of them included hot Cheetos on top of elote. Initially I felt like the prices were a little high, but once I tried it I understood why; due the quality ingredients and time to make each item.
