This was my first time checking out Tasi Bites and I have to say I was very impressed. I cannot believe that I haven't checked out this place before. The only reason I went today was because I had a coupon that someone gave me. It's located in the center of Seaside Farms on the main drag just opposite Lyndon-Leigh home accent store. It's very cool & hip inside, with a large menu, offering healthy lunches, smoothies, coffee, and treats. I was very pleasantly surprised, and my smoothie was absolutely delicious. Bussin' the workers were nice. We felt bad a random guy was talking to the workers about his music he was making, they sat nicely listening to him but you could tell it was weird. Anyway, the Acai bowls were delightfully refreshing and delicious! Definitely enjoyed them. The majority of us got the OG without peanut butter. Good stuff! Not the best açaí I've had before. We got the regular açaí bowl. They don't have many options for substitution. I don't eat peanut butter so was hoping to sub for almond butter which they don't carry. They also don't have options for açaí bowls with added protein. Just to be clear, I did not go inside this business so I'm basing the three star on my husband's feedback and my bites & blends. Perhaps this will serve as a way for the owners to improve for that customer base (orders but doesn't go inside). So to start, it was hard to find the website for this place. Once we found it, it wasn't complete or user-friendly so I entrusted my husband to go inside and make some good choices for me. He said that the employee was very friendly, talkative and upbeat. That's great!! I'm happy to hear that, as normally this is where the experience needs improvement. I got a Chai type drink and a Greek wrap of sorts. Those are definitely to my liking, good job hubby. The drink wasn't wowing me per say, not sure if it was the heat or the general consistency of the drink but I wouldn't order it again. The food, it had an odd aroma when I opened it up. I think I chalked it up to the fact my husband could've ordered something with fish and I didn't want to wreck his meal with my general hatred of seafood and fishy smells. Everyone who likes seafood and fish remind me time and time again that it should not smell fishy. I think the restaurants who serve it need to be told that over and over again, not me! I ate half of the Greek wrap, it didn't wow me and I was overcome with the fishy smell and lost my appetite. I saved the other half, giving the necessary permission that my leftovers were up for grabs. Flash forward to that evening, my tummy was not feeling it. It was not happy, I cannot say exactly what caused it but some of it was the food. Flash forward to the following day when my husband claimed the leftovers. He unwrapped it from its paper and I smelled the fishy smell again! It was a Greek wrap with chicken, no fish! I immediately equated the smell with wet cat food. Yuck. I was so hoping it was my imagination because I did notice it the day before. Now I couldn't blame my imagination, it was true. My husband, who is not as picky as me, even turned it away. After mentioning the smell, because I am the person who can pinpoint the smell and tell you exactly what it smells like, he wholeheartedly agreed. Yuck. My daughter got a peanut butter and jelly wrap. She will happily eat a pb & j for lunch every day if we allow it! She didn't even finish half and never wanted the leftovers the next day. She did like the fruity smoothie though. I would recommend that the owners revamp their website and make it user-friendly and easy to find! This is a huge deal for me because I preview places before I decide and often this is my first impression of the business. I don't know what to recommend for the food, it could be a personal preference and others really enjoy it. So, it wasn't a good fit for my family. Perhaps it is for you...your decision! read more

Since I discovered them, I stop into Tasi here and there for a crepe and smoothie. Usually it's a pretty great experience so I'm not saying I won't be back or anything but, my last stop in was a bit off putting. I came in with friends who had never been, which made things worse as I tried to explain that things weren't normally like this. We walked in and there was only one other table sitting down. Out of the 4 tables against the window across from the counter, two of them were either not bussed or covered in crumbs. We all ordered a crepe or wrap and a smoothie or coffee plus some waters. After ordering at the counter, we switched tables to a cleaner one. After a few minutes, our food came out. No drinks yet, but hot cooked crepes and a wrap all came out. She said she'd be right back with the waters and smoothies. We then sat there for 5-7 mins while our food got cold still with no drinks. I understand that the smoothies take time, but we ordered waters too that could have come out with our food. The other option... make the smoothies before you make the food. The two workers seemed pretty flustered from this basic order from 3 people. Like I said, I'll be back and happy to update my review again, but i couldn't ignore this less than stellar experience recently. read more

I work across the street at Tasi so I often run over for a quick bite. The staff is generally very nice and the food is fast. The inside just seems kind of dirty. When you first walk in there is a display of hygiene products and vitamins which seems odd. On a hutch there is a hat display for sale. The only thing I'm interested in buying at a restaurant/ Cafe is food. Their smoothies and juices are good. Behind the counter seems to be a little messy which sometimes makes me nervous. Their food is good there there isn't many options and the menu never changes. Because it is so close I would go again but if Tasi was to move I don't think I would follow. read more

Overall my experience was good, however, I do think they need to address the off putting stains around the restaurant. Anytime I see stains and sticky messes it makes me question their cleanliness as a restaurant all together. Aside from that, the crepe I ordered, chicken with spinach, peppers, and goat cheese, with grainy mustard was very good and the portion size is also great. As was the green smoothly. All very good options for a healthy meal or snack. Again it's just their cleanliness that turned me off. If not for that I do think I would have rated them a four star rather than three. read more

I've been on the hunt for my favorite kale-blend smoothie. I think I've found it. Five star smoothie, 5 star service, 3 star food. The wraps were so-so, the Cobb salad was better. Chicken parm wrap and club wrap were kind of bland. Would I grab a quick, easy lunch again? Probably not. Would I get the green smoothie again. Every day!! Easy parking, fast friendly service. Update: I've been going to Tasi EVERY morning. I cannot come close to expressing how wonderful every member of this business is. Alway, ALWAYS, welcoming, kind, personable, efficient and gracious. I love going here for a healthy bite to eat! I also love coming here to indulge on their crepes. This hidden gem is tucked away in Seaside Farms Shopping Center. I've had the Tasi Juice which had carrot, orange, ginger, and beet. It is not so sweet, and the beet gives it an earthy taste, so if you prefer it sweeter just tell them you want more carrot or add an apple. Another time I had the RDA smoothie. Pineapple, green apple, banana, and a shot of wheat grass. It's so yummy you can't even taste the wheat grass! The also have an espresso bar which I have yet to try. I also had the signature salad which had mixed greens, blueberries, green apples, dried cranberries, almonds, & shredded carrot with house curry lime dressing. This was very tasty however I wish that the carrots and apples were sliced rather than diced, it would make it easier to eat. But I did really loved that curry lime dressing! Everything was very fresh and very good! I love crepes and i'm glad I found a place that doesn't over cook them! Me and my husband shared the Nutty Monkey. Bananas, peanut butter, and nutella. Lovely little crêperie with a good selection of sweet and savory crêpes, espresso, juice, and wraps. I came here for lunch and got a Monte Cristo crêpe, which has roast turkey & ham, Swiss cheese, and spinach inside the crêpe, with a sweet raspberry purée drizzled over the top and a light dusting of powdered sugar. It was an excellent balance of savory and sweet, and was the perfect size for a meal (big enough to be filling, but not so much that you'd have leftovers). I also got a macchiato, which was made quickly and correctly, and was excellent! The staff was friendly and paid attention to all the customers and said hello to them as they walked in the door. The staff was sweet and worked quickly and if I could give them a review separately I would give them 5/5 stars That being said most people read reviews for how good the food is and some amazing food is worth looking through things like a bad staff. The food fell incredibly short and left a lot to be desired. The outdoor seating has some solid picnic tables so I could secure Felicia while I ordered inside. She could see me through the big glass windows so that eased her separation anxiety. "Bye, Felicia. It's just for a few minutes." Tried the strawberry, banana and Nutella crepe. It was about the size of a big burrito and satisfied my sweet craving. Also was talked into trying a shot of wheat grass. From what I read and hear, this stuff is great for you. Anyhow, I'm fairly addicted to this place. I've lived less than a mile from Tasi for three plus years and had seen the place many times...what I didn't know is that they sold crepes (which I love) and delicious shakes and smoothies. I made my first visit and was extremely impressed with the taste of my Monte Carlo crepe (ham, turkey, raspberry drizzle and a little powdered sugar) and breakfast smoothie (strawberry, banana, oatmeal). There is seating for probably 25 inside with couple tables on the sidewalk as well. The added bonus to Tasi was the amount of beautiful women who went in and out just in the short time I was there...plus a couple pretty girls working. I'll definitely be back. I had just finished my massage next door at Massage Envy and wondered next door to seek out this new place. Well I stood at the counter and NO ONE greeted me or asked if they could help me. Two worker were working and I waited and waited after both worker stood replenishing the hummus and other one cleaning the juicer. Finally, the one worker asked had I been helped and I said no. They I just asked for a plastic knife and spoon. Poor customer service and I am trying not to call it a racial issue but makes one wonder. read more

I go to Tasi often and usually get their yummy lettuce wraps and espresso mudslides. They are amazing. Tasi is a little more expensive than other coffee shops but they give discounts for Eastshore Athletics club members. They also always have yummy soft homemade cookies ready all the time.
