Due to it being summer, I wasn't sure if we would need a reservation for lunch or not, so I made one - just in case. We got there, had to a wait a couple of minutes to be seated. The space is cute, nice decor/vibe. Our server was friendly and service was quick. I tried the frozen painkiller, which was delicious. Calamari appetizer was crispy and I really enjoyed the aioli that came with it - it added a nice, light flavor. I ordered the Sullivan's sushi wrap, which included spicy tuna, avocado, crispy shallot, sesame, teriyaki sauce and a spicy aioli. They did not skimp on the sauce, which I love because it adds a nice, flavorful punch. The tuna was fresh and tasty. Not sure what the wrap was made of - not sure it added much in terms of flavor - but it made it into something handheld, which thankfully is better than some of the "sushi burritos" I have had before. Overall, it was fresh and tasty. Definitely a good option if you're in the area.

A quite enjoyable birthday lunch! I appreciate that their non-alcoholic beer wasn't strictly an IPA and a pilsner. They have several mocktails and a NA golden beer. The calamari was cooked and fried perfectly, and the aioli was a perfect addition. A little over half of the calamari was just the small squidlings which doesn't bother me, but I can see that being an issue for many. It doesn't have the same flavor as the rings and it's a bit saltier, but maybe that's just personal preference. The Isle of Palms of wrap tasted really fresh, loved the fish and the tuna and shrimp. I found the outside of the wrap (rice paper?) a little bland, but it didn't detract much from the rest of the contents. Next time I'd like to try the shaded outside seating because it looked beautiful.

Very cute place! Good food too! My husband and I came in for lunch before going to the beach. I ordered the shrimp & grits. It was the BEST shrimp & grits I've had since moving to SC earlier this year. It had a soupy texture but the flavor was excellent! I'd come back here just to get this meal again, that's how good it was! I would definitely recommend checking this place out while on Sullivan's Island :)

We were in the mood for some sushi & fresh seafood and decided to check out The Longboard Restaurant located on Sullivan's Island. It was around four in the afternoon and to our delight they serve lunch until 5pm and also had Happy Hour specials. It is absolutely gorgeous in here. A beautiful space with coastal decor. Ideal for large groups & holiday makers. I strongly suggest making a booking in high season. I've seen the lines down the street in the height of summer. The dishes were absolutely delicious fresh & beautifully presented. Saylor was our server and she was attentive without being obtrusive, knowledgeable & helpful with the menu. She made our entire experience so much more enjoyable. Parking can be difficult on Sullivan's but The Longboard is definitely worth the hassle.

Beautiful decor, nice ambiance! DJ on the deck outside. No lunch menu on weekends but solid brunch options and impressive raw bar!

Went here with my family of 5 the night I moved in to Charleston! It is in such a cute spot on Sullivans island, walking distance to the beach and an ice cream shop and has the CUTEST coastal beachy vibe inside that was perfect after just moving to the beach. Our service was great, everyone was very friendly and helpful! She had great drinks recommendations and I loved my cocktail. The most disappointing aspect of this place was the food. We ordered a good amount of different things and everyone tried each others. The resounding response from everything we tried was that it was so SALTY. There were multiple items we couldn't even eat due to the salt. I can't remember the last time we had inedible food due to salt. On top of that, I do believe the food prices are very overpriced for the taste as well as the pretty tiny portions you receive. Because of this, I don't think we will be back to eat here. However, I do think this is a great spot to grab a few drinks! Great vibes and super fun looking cocktails. I will be back for drinks for sure. Just be aware of the appetizers, as those were also super salty. Maybe someone's salt shaker broke that evening, but still a pricey meal......

Loved lunch at The Londboard! Came here with friends for Memorial Day at Sullivan's Island: loved everything! The restaurant is perfectly airy and gives island vibes (for good reason--they have a restaurant on St. Thomas as well!) I thought the teal longboard hanging above the bar was really cool! For drinks, I got a frozen painkiller, while my friends got wadma-law-breakers for Happy Hour ($10 per cocktail!) It was also Oyster Hour, so we got 1/2 dozen Charleston oysters for $12--so delicious we ordered a second batch! We also got the crispy calamari--perfectly crispy and tasty! For actual meals, my friends got salads. I got veggie, fish, and shrimp tacos--all freshly made and very good. I would come here again. I walked to the beach with a full belly and high spirits. Also, chat with the restaurant manager, Louis, who is also a tennis expert! Receipt attached for reference on prices.

I really wanted to like this place, but the experience fell short overall. The biggest issue was the service--it was extremely slow. There was only one waitress handling everything during lunch: hosting, bartending, and serving. While she was doing her best, it clearly wasn't enough to keep up. At one point, I literally watched two couples get up and leave because it took so long for her to even greet them and take a drink order. As for the food, it was a mixed bag. The grilled oysters were absolutely amazing--easily the highlight of the meal and the one thing that stood out in a positive way. Unfortunately, the fried rice was disappointing. It was overcooked and the portion size was smaller than expected. Between the slow service and inconsistent food, it just didn't live up to expectations. I hope they can improve staffing because there's definitely potential here.

Food was excellent, service was top notch. Food was so fresh. Chicken nuggets for son were a little tough, but the oysters, breakfast fried rice and toast options were amazing!

Food was OUTSTANDING!!!! Saylor, our Host, was wonderful and took good care of us!!! Highly recommend The Longboard if you're in the area!

Restaurant was super cute, and food was good (nothing spectacular in my opinion). Happy with the salad portion.

Yummy spot and had a great time with a big group of friends grabbing drinks and dinner here! Services was great and very accommodating. Everyone's food was good, but lacked a little flavor, however good enough I'd go back! Great spot after the beach!

I swapped the fries for a side salad and it was fresh and perfectly balanced. The surprise favorite? The hush puppy tots with whipped butter -- a combo I didn't know I needed and a delicious treat. Lauren at the bar is fantastic. She recommended the Nine Lives cocktail (I had the lite version), and it was one of the most refreshing drinks I've had anywhere. Huge props to the chef, the super‑friendly staff, and a manager who clearly runs a great ship. If you're craving excellent seafood in a relaxed, welcoming spot, Fish Camp is absolutely worth the visit.

They are served with a mignonette, which isn't my favorite, I should have asked for cocktail sauce z but I just slurped them down "naked" and they were fabulous. We also had the hushpuppy tots - the butter these come with is the perfect compliment. Hubs had the Sullivan fried platter, so good, it includes fried green tomatoes - YUM! And coleslaw that reminds me of Jewish delis from my childhood, but finely shredded. I had the fish tacos which were swordfish today, the salsa on there is perfect with the fish. Cocktails were good and if you've ever been to the BVI, the best painkiller that's not there, they even use Pusser's Rum. I can't wait to go back to try more of the menu.

I was a little worried when the website said call ahead seating was on hold thinking they would be slammed, but forged onward!' It was Sunday afternoon. I have read about nightmare parking but did not experience that at all. Zoomed right in. Yes, it was eleven bucks. I don't mind paying and refuse to get myself worked up over it. Ask for an outside table and no sooner did we sit down, the dolphins showed up!!! I consider myself an expert on dolphin spotting and had to show the table of 5 college age young ladies where they were located. They loved them as well. Who knew they would be so active in the middle of a busy waterway? As a former boat owner, I love watching those huge honkin' boats parallel park in between the baby ones. I do not have that skill , but it's entertaining to watch. Tyler was our server and was nice and attentive. Drinks were cold and quite good. I ordered a house Chardonnay and it was Cambria. Not crazy expensive either! Had shrimp tacos and steamed shrimp. So many steamed ones that I had a full meal the next day. I look forward to trying many more dishes. What I enjoyed the most was being part of a fun atmosphere in a fun place. Not a sad person in the place. That's always my attitude near any body of water. All the employees were engaging and happy to be there.
