DIS B!@H LIT!!!!!! LIT LIT!!!!!! PEOPLE ERRRRRWHERE!!!! Everytime I've went to vickery's ive always noticed the big party across the water, but i was apart of it tonight. And on this side of the river, I noticed it's lit on Vickery's side. Also, because water's edge is crowded and they are partying as well and Shem creek Inn has a big crowd and partying so this whole area. Is mardi gras right now. IM KNOCKING MY YELP LIST DOWN BABY!!!!! Cuz this place was on my list A minute. Great customer service. BEST SHRIMP TACOS I EVER HAD!!!! We sat in a big, beautiful leather booth.Facing the water, it was so sexy.It was like a booth , you sit in on a scene from pulp fiction. (Somebody know what I'm talking bout) We had the salmon and pasta with Sidewinder, French fries, shrimp tacos. With the lobster and crab dip. DAMNIT IM GOING 5 STARS!!!! (WHAAAAT??? YOU HARDLY EVER GO 5 STARS) YUP!!! You low key can't find the energy coupled with good fresh seafood like the places on shem creek downtown. ImPoSsIbLe!!! Uber was killing it here. They paid mortgage tonight baby. Beautiful women with no man everywhere fellas. IJS!! IIIIIIIIIIILE B BAK.....n my terminator voice. LOVE YOU!!!!!

Still the great same service and I got the smack down shrimp tacos this time. They do not skimp on the shrimp in here whatsoever and they were delicious. I've always had a great experience at Sunsets. I came here with a group of 7 people at 5pm on a Friday for a casual dinner before our boat ride and the service was quick and setting is very relaxed.

This place has really good food! We visited during Shem Creek's Mardi Gras celebration, unbeknownst to us, so the whole area was busy! It took a bit for our food to come out and for waitstaff to tend to us, but we were able to enjoy the view while we waited. We sat outside at the high tables and were kind of forgotten about. The price for what we ordered was comparable to other places in the area, but a little high for what it is. I wasn't blown away by anything, the food was good and the views were lovely, but I feel the events of the day made this place more fun than anything. It's definitely a good place to stop by and get food though!

What a great place to have good food, a good view and drinks. The sushi was great and filling, one roll for me was enough, the pasta was AMAZING! The only thing with the sushi burrito was that the raw fish had a lot of fat and my brother said it was uneatable. This place is never that busy which is amazing considering all the other restaurants in shem are packed.

Sunsets at Shem Creek is an awesome spot for the summer & a night out! The outdoor seating is fantastic & there's tons of great food & drinks! The Charleston vibes here are on point! You can never go wrong with a seafood boil; it's filled with all the good stuff! The seafood platter is extra tasty & the hushpuppies are delicious! I really enjoyed the lychee martini too - give them a try!

Such a lovely dinner at Sunsets. Our server was fabulous, very attentive and made the evening super enjoyable. We came for a late dinner so unfortunately some of our picks for dinner options were sold out but she was still able to accommodate us perfectly. The hush puppies were a delicious appetizer and everyone enjoyed their entrees as well. We decided to eat inside since we were dining with a 9 month old and it was a bit chilly outdoors but getting to basically sit on the water and enjoy the views while being inside was lovely. If we're ever back in SC we will definitely be coming back!

I tried this place for the first time. I was hoping to get a waterside table, but the wait would've been about 30 mins. So I ended up just going with an indoor seat and was so happy to see it still provided a good view of the water. I ordered the brussel sprouts and the shrimp. Both were so good. I happened to get a vodka soda during their $5 happy hour. I also got the firecracker roll and the mango roll. Yum! The place was clean, had a good vibe. Our waitress was super attentive (thank you). As I was leaving, I noticed karaoke night was happening on the second floor. I'm so happy I tried this restaurant versus going to my usual go-to spot on Shem Creek.

Food was pretty good! Spicy Tuna bites 10/10! Beautiful views of the water modern young space! Fun music! Service a little slow and slightly forgetful and no crayons for kids coloring pages.

Great place to sit and relax. It's right on the water. Shrimp tacos were amazing. They had 2 varieties and both were delicious. Service was great. Our waitress was nice and had great recommendations. Crab clusters (3) about 1.5 lbs.

This was our first time visiting Sunsets Waterfront Dining while in town for a meeting, and we're so glad we found it through a little research, it did not disappoint! We arrived just in time for happy hour. I ordered a vodka cranberry and the peel-and-eat shrimp, which were so fresh and flavorful I ended up ordering a second round. The staff was very accommodating, they easily honored my request for steamed broccoli and a house salad with dressing on the side to go with my shrimp. My husband had the blackened mahi tacos, and he loved them, fresh, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. The only small downside is parking, but now that we know what to expect, it's not a big deal. Every staff member we spoke with was friendly and helpful. The views along the water are beautiful, and we learned that part of Outer Banks was filmed right along this creek. There are also several other restaurants nearby--you can take a nice little walk across the bridge to explore them if you're looking to make a night of it. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

Food was perfect for Shem Creek. Genuinely better than a lot of his nearby competitors. The sushi burrito, smack down shrimp, and Brussels sprouts were huge hits at our table. Only reason I'm giving 4 starts is they were incredibly understaffed and it was definitely affecting some of those who were there working. I totally understand that though, but I'm sure that's a fluke thing so I don't totally hold it against them!

After a stroll on the boardwalk, my husband and I decided to stop by Sunset's for a quick drink as we had already eaten dinner. We ordered the Shem's Vice and the Sunset's Slush (two frozen cocktails). The Vice was delicious, sweet, and refreshing. The Slush was alright, definitely not better than the Vice. While we didn't have food while we were there, it did smell good!

Starting dinner off right with some deliciously fresh raw oysters complete with a traditional "onion" mignonette, and then Chef Eric brought out a little special treat....the base was fresh lump crab meat topped with some chunked watermelon and the most light, fresh, delicious dressing & crunch. WOW. I could eat that all summer. Moving onto the main courses, a perfectly cooked NY strip & root veggies with a love boat of fresh sauces. Chimi, steak butter, and a horseradish crema. As if the steak needed any sauce, but with that trifecta?? I couldn't help myself. Incredible. The other entree, a risotto and shrimp. Incredibly flavorful, complete with crisp English peas. As I write this, I wish I had another plateful. The bartender is the Chef's little lady, & she was a GEM! I cannot remember her name, but she goes to estate sales, and thrifts the beautiful dishes and glassware that they use in the restaurant, which I thought was so neat! These two truly have put their heart and soul into this little place and you can tell. The menu is of a smaller variety, but variety for sure. Chef Eric changes the menu up daily/weekly, so you never know what you may get, and I think that is honestly one of the best parts about this place. You can tell they care, from the food to the atmosphere they have created. This one deserves all the 5 stars.

We ended up getting a couple dozen oysters, smoked fish dip and crispy tuna rice. Oysters were fresh and nicely chilled, tuna rice was well seasoned and the fish dip was ok, didn't have any smoky flavor or element to it and lacked in flavor. We ended up moving back down with our friends who had dogs so they ordered from the regular menu. The server was very accommodating and friendly.
