Lobster and crab dip

The food and services was amazing. We sat right off the water and enjoyed great music food Sights to behold!

Food was perfect for Shem Creek. Genuinely better than a lot of his nearby competitors. The sushi burrito, smack down shrimp, and Brussels sprouts were huge hits at our table. Only reason I'm giving 4 starts is they were incredibly understaffed and it was definitely affecting some of those who were there working. I totally understand that though, but I'm sure that's a fluke thing so I don't totally hold it against them!

I tried this place for the first time. I was hoping to get a waterside table, but the wait would've been about 30 mins. So I ended up just going with an indoor seat and was so happy to see it still provided a good view of the water. I ordered the brussel sprouts and the shrimp. Both were so good. I happened to get a vodka soda during their $5 happy hour. I also got the firecracker roll and the mango roll. Yum! The place was clean, had a good vibe. Our waitress was super attentive (thank you). As I was leaving, I noticed karaoke night was happening on the second floor. I'm so happy I tried this restaurant versus going to my usual go-to spot on Shem Creek.

This was our first time visiting Sunsets Waterfront Dining while in town for a meeting, and we're so glad we found it through a little research, it did not disappoint! We arrived just in time for happy hour. I ordered a vodka cranberry and the peel-and-eat shrimp, which were so fresh and flavorful I ended up ordering a second round. The staff was very accommodating, they easily honored my request for steamed broccoli and a house salad with dressing on the side to go with my shrimp. My husband had the blackened mahi tacos, and he loved them, fresh, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. The only small downside is parking, but now that we know what to expect, it's not a big deal. Every staff member we spoke with was friendly and helpful. The views along the water are beautiful, and we learned that part of Outer Banks was filmed right along this creek. There are also several other restaurants nearby--you can take a nice little walk across the bridge to explore them if you're looking to make a night of it. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

Sunsets! I've been wanting to try this place to go down the list of places to try down Shem Creek. My husband and I came on a Friday night around 6pm , got sat rather quickly (about 10min) outside. The view is great! You get to see the boats go by. Our server came over quickly and was super friendly. They have happy hour from 4-7 so I got a wine. My husband ordered the hush puppies and fish sandwich. I got the grilled salmon wrap. The hush puppies were very good. Light and crisp with a sweet corn flavor. My husband did not like the fish sandwich, it was big with not much flavor. I thought my salmon wrap was OK , mightve needed some more salt. Overall the view is nice! Service friendly! But i'm not sure we would come back for the food unless every other place was booked and we wanted something on the water. Hush puppies and wine were the highlight.

After a stroll on the boardwalk, my husband and I decided to stop by Sunset's for a quick drink as we had already eaten dinner. We ordered the Shem's Vice and the Sunset's Slush (two frozen cocktails). The Vice was delicious, sweet, and refreshing. The Slush was alright, definitely not better than the Vice. While we didn't have food while we were there, it did smell good!

Went on a Sunday night and had a short wait to sit outside but the view was great and the food was delicious!

Such a fun and chill experience, of course we went on a Sunday afternoon so it was busy everywhere but they got it us in relatively quick. We were able to be seated on their beautiful patio that overlooked the water and it was super serene and beautiful. The food and drinks were a 10 out of 10 for me. From the starter with the lobster crab dip too the sushi burritos this meal is absolutely fabulous. Cannot wait to come back and enjoy it again.

Family friendly, fresh food, and the best creekside views in town? Yes, please! Sunsets just dropped their new menu, and it's definitely family approved! It definitely gets busy so be patient, but service is great. Here's what we ordered: Rum Punch & Summer Cooler Shrimp Spring Rolls & Wings Blackened Pasta & Steak and Fries CA Roll, Firecracker Roll, & Spicy Tuna Roll

Lobster roll

Went to Sunsets for an event hosted by my apartment complex and was genuinely impressed. The views alone are worth the trip--watching the sunset over the water with a drink in hand was the perfect way to wind down. The vibe was relaxed but lively, and the drinks were great (the spicy margarita was a crowd favorite). I wasn't expecting much from the food since it was part of an event, but the blackened fish tacos were actually really solid--fresh and flavorful. All in all, it felt like the kind of place I'll definitely be coming back to on my own. Great spot for casual hangs, good food, and unbeatable views.

Visiting from out of town and wanted to eat somewhere on the water. The view was exactly what I was looking for. The food and service were great. Highly recommended, great spot for nice view and great food

Views for miles and a golden hour cocktail.

Show stopper interior and outside decks. Glass windows and multi level views. Super nice server, host, and management. Fresh diverse offerings with some unique menu items. My favorite on the Creek! Yes it's a bit pricey, but you are here for the dolphins and breezes right? Priceless vibes. Wings were crispy and well seasoned. Lobster Roll was classic. Miami roll was large and loaded with seafood. Lobster tacos were good. Fun drink menu. Lots of non seafood for the land lovers too.

What a great place to see all of the boats coming and going. We went to the second floor, the bartender was extremely accommodating. We wanted to sit by the window and he went over and made sure that he opened all of the windows at the bar rail. And it wasn't an easy chore. LOL. The drink menu was comparable to most the other places. However they did have some specialties that the other places did not, and they were very tasty. The atmosphere was very light and bright and airy. A place I could definitely spend an afternoon.

I have never had a bad drink here. I got the Batata Clarified Milk Punch (description in picture) which was fantastic. The toasted marshmallow garnish was a great touch for the season we were in. My mom got the Bourbon and Clyde and she said it was incredible. Description also in picture. The orange foam and pistachio crumble was a great addition. Another great drink for autumn. My second drink was the Smokin Indo which was probably my favorite. They performed the smoked glass technique with applewood which was not only cool to watch but added a unique flavor to the drink. We always make a point to get the assorted cheeses when we are here because they make a great charcuterie board. They switch up the cheeses just like they change their cocktail menu. Love to sit at the bar because it is truly an art to watch the bartenders make these drinks and really adds to the experience. Everyone who works here is super kind and knowledgeable on their craft. However, if you are able to be there when the two Doar brothers are working it makes it truly special. They give postcards with their check and there's a bowl of matchbooks sitting on the bar. One of the best cocktail bars in Charleston. Debated writing this because I selfishly want to keep it under the radar but it definitely deserves its accolades.

The service was on point and the bartender was killing it at the bar - multitasking making 3 drinks all at once. It was super impressive and I took a few videos of him. I'm giving 4 stars because the first cocktail I ordered was SO SWEET that I couldn't get it down. I tried to drink it but had to send it back. We asked when we ordered about the flavor profile and supposedly it wasn't sweet, but all 3 of us agreed it was way oversweet. My black manhattan was phenomenal and my husband had a mocktail moscow mule that was awesome. Overall, I'd come back again - just be mindful of the ingredients in the drink and modifying as needed for sweetness. Make a reservation if you can!

Everything was so flavorful that no extra salt or pepper was needed. The shrimp & grits had the perfect spicy kick -- seriously delicious. We skipped dessert, but the highlight afterward was spotting a dolphin swimming through the channel. Such a perfect ending to a really enjoyable meal. Definitely recommend! As we were finishing our apps a waiter/ busboy came with meals. I asked, "Could you clear these dirty plates?" " Not with my hands full" l was told. So our dirty plates, silverware, left over food and dirty table now also held our meals. Yuck! Food wise there were many nice choices and the restaurant was beautiful. They come as a small plate with three appetizer-sized tacos, and every bite was bright, fresh, and beautifully balanced. The Buddy the Elf Burger offers a choice of a single or double patty; ours was cooked perfectly. The smoky bacon really brought everything together and gave it that extra "wow" factor. We rounded things out with the O Come, All Ye Fried Rice with Hanger Steak, which was another winner -- perfectly cooked, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. I'd be remiss not to mention Kevin our server. Go see him. He was great. The whole team works great together. Don't let the bar-like atmosphere fool you -- Prohibition is far from your typical bar food or bar scene. There's a great space in the back, and the elevated menu makes it absolutely worth the visit.
