The porkchop with Dijon glaze and side of cheesy pasta

Came to celebrate dad's 60th birthday. The expectation was high and Langdons was a notch above. We got the anchovy salad, and split the Shrimp (and grits), along with the porkchop (also pictured). All were amazing. Dad got the tomahawk steak which was incredible as well. Our server was great, politely helping with libations throughout the night and had answers for all of our questions. The ambiance was perfect for what we were looking for. 10/10 night

Going to be in Mt Pleasant splurge and make a reservation at Langdon's, it is worth every penny!! Langdon's is my go to restaurant that is always on point and has a fantastic menu! Been here several times over the years and nock on wood I never experienced a bad meal here with anyone! Love the Wedge Salad for starters! My go to Entrée is the 9oz Filet with whipped potatoes and asparagus, I add on the Béarnaise sauce for the Filet!! Phenomenal Filet at Langdon's!! Langdon's always consistently impressed me and they easily get 5 Stars !!

The Hungry Detective loves this spot AKA: The Halls of Mt Pleasant!!! The wreck fish was cooked to perfection and the filet was better than Hall's. Tate did a fabulous job pairing the wine. VERDICT: Guilty as sin for doing all right!!!

This a great place to go and have a great meal. The ambiance is a bit romantic. Sitting at a table at the bar you will always get great service. Try the Just Peachy or a dirty martini. You can't go wrong with either choice. The shrimp or pork chop you will be delighted. I do something change my sides option but all is good whichever you choose.

First time here and and it's much smaller than I expected. Definitely need a reservation if you want a table. Started with the duck meatballs with grits and they were ok, good options. I had the lamb chops med rare but they were slightly overcooked as the came out more on the medium side. The flavor was excellent with the potatoes they come with was exquisite. The duck breast was excellent.

Wonderful experience and great service! Eric provided great service along with great recommendations. We were here as our year end holiday dinner. It was an excellent choice. We ordered lots of things to try and were pleased with everything. We ordered a bottle of rosé, beer, and a dessert cocktail to cover all of the bases. Great selection and everyone found something they liked. For appetizers we tried the Gnocchi, the shrimp, Oysters Rockefeller. Then we ordered salads, and the soup of the day which was a broccoli and bacon soup. So good! Then for the meal we ordered the filet and the daily offering of fish which was a grouper if my memory serves me correctly. Oh yeah we had the chocolate cake for dessert. They had me a coffee ice cream and toffee! Yum. This is definitely a place I will return to, but you know the rotation list is long. So it may take a minute for another check in...but it's coming.

Came here for a birthday dinner and although this place displays many awards, the food didn't seem to live up to the expectations. The waitstaff that support the main waiters were very attentive and helpful. There were some hiccups with our dinner such as receiving less oysters than requested, wine glasses being taken even though we'd ordered a bottle for the table, and the steak lacked seasoning. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the sauce ordered (butter base), so I was hoping that the steak was good on its own, but unfortunately it disappointed especially for the price.

I can't say enough great things about this spot!…read more I've come to shop the decor at Get Carried Away before which has an elaborate selection of seasonal and local goodies. I finally decided to sit down for lunch and was immediately met with kind and helpful staff. I ordered a seasonal drink special - their take on a Hugo spritz made with gin. It was refreshing and well priced for the size. I also ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken which was fresh and filling. The food itself is very affordable prices. There are plenty of bar seats, high tops, couch seats as well as dining tables. There are TVs at the bar with sports on as well. I will definitely be coming back!

The employees are all extremely nice and helpful. Rivers was my server and he did a great job. I had a glass of wine, a Caesar salad and grouper bites. The food was quite generous in size. The Caesar salad was delicious although the dressing was a bit thick for my taste requiring another serving of it to cover the salad. It was tasty and I could have eaten an entire bag of those homemade croutons. The grouper bites tasted great, however they didn't have a crispy coating like I would expect. I couldn't tell if they had been air fried or just cooked earlier and reheated. I can't wait to return for happy hour to try some other dishes. Rivers informed me that they often have special events and even live music. They share the bathroom with Get Carried Away and it's clean and smells Wonderful!

We came in on a Friday around 5:45pm and things were already pretty busy. We grabbed 2 seats at the beautiful bar and were immediately greeted by the staff. They have Happy Hour Monday - Saturday from 4-6 so we just made it. The charcuterie inside the repurposed wine bottle is such a fun idea. The meats and cheeses and nuts and crackers were delicious. The serving was quite large for a happy hour app. We started with glasses of prosecco and a chilled red which were on the happy hour menu as well. Melissa was behind the bar and she is AMAZING! Once happy hour was over and we learned there was live music from 7-9 we pretty much decided we were staying all night. Melissa made sure we never felt rushed. Honestly it felt like sitting in a cafe in Europe where enjoying a bottle of wine with friends is supposed to take time and never be quick. She helped us pick a bottle of sparkling rosé and it was very very good. And the price point was so reasonable. They have an extensive wine list and seriously the prices range from $23-$100+ so there's something for everyone. Once the music started we ordered the Sopressata and hot honey flat bread. It was great to share and the flavor was wonderful. It took a little while to come out of the kitchen, but Melissa made sure to check in and let us know. The space itself is so fun. There's a huge bar and a couch with comfortable chairs and tables along the wall. They also offer a small number of patio seats right outside. It got really crowded and reservations were almost a must. Another side note, the bathrooms are so nice. They're clean and well decorated and stocked with everything you could need from feminine products, to mouthwash and more. This spot is seriously a must visit! And I really appreciate their social media and website being up to date with all the specials and events going on. They have live music several nights per week and they also do classes like paint and sip nights. I cannot wait to go back!

The seating was comfortable, and there was "lite" live music in the corner; a solo singer with a guitar who played just loud enough to enjoy without killing conversation. There was also a wine tasting going on at the end of the bar, hosted by one of the vendors, which was a fun touch. Unlike the previous wine bar, Charlotte's actually offers food, and we were handed full menus right away. We decided to share a bunch of small plates, assuming they'd be, well, small. We were wrong. The portions were generous, and everything was delicious. Meatballs in marinara with fresh basil and olive oil, a Mediterranean veggie flatbread with feta, and a lovely, light whipped ricotta served with crostini toasts. My only complaint is that there weren't quite enough crostini for the mountain of ricotta we were given. The wine was solid. I went with a still rosé while my friends had reds, and everyone was happy. The door never stopped revolving the whole time we were there, which tells me this place is already a hit. It's exactly what Mount Pleasant needed along that stretch of Coleman Boulevard.

It feels relaxed and polished without trying too hard. Service was excellent from start to finish, attentive but not hovering. We ordered several raw oyster platters and they were outstanding. Great selection and importantly, not from the South this time of year, which matters if you know oysters. Fresh, clean, and exactly what you want. We also had the octopus and calamari, both really well done. The octopus was tender with great flavor, not rubbery like it can be at lesser places. For our main, we shared the whole fish with fries for the table, which was a great call. Simple, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Solid wine list and drinks, nothing overcomplicated, just good options that pair well with the food. Overall, this is one of the few spots on Shem Creek that feels like it knows what it's doing. Good food, good service, great setting, and none of the touristy nonsense.
