    TAGLIATELLE

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This was a great place to enjoy dinner in Mt Pleasant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We arrived without a reservation; however, they were able to seat our 2 top easily. Our server Israel was extremely professional and gave us great recommendations. All the appetizers were wonderful. The duck meatballs were juicy and hearty. All the mushrooms that came with the dish were wonderful and had great texture. I could have had another appetizers they were so wonderful. The Tagliatelle was a bit spicy but nonetheless delicious. The filet was a bit peppery but had great char and balance. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant decor is simple but classic for a steak place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great wooden bar with bar high tops for guests like us with no reservation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was quickly filled and buzzing with people we loved the energy of the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not to mention great wine options which is hard to find a place with great food and a good wine lists. We'll be back again for sure!

Came to celebrate dad's 60th birthday. The expectation was high and Langdons was a notch above. We got the anchovy salad, and split the Shrimp (and grits), along with the porkchop (also pictured). All were amazing. Dad got the tomahawk steak which was incredible as well. Our server was great, politely helping with libations throughout the night and had answers for all of our questions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was perfect for what we were looking for.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 10/10 night

Going to be in Mt Pleasant splurge and make a reservation at Langdon's, it is worth every penny!! Langdon's is my go to restaurant that is always on point and has a fantastic menu! Been here several times over the years and nock on wood I never experienced a bad meal here with anyone! Love the Wedge Salad for starters! My go to Entrée is the 9oz Filet with whipped potatoes and asparagus, I add on the Béarnaise sauce for the Filet!! Phenomenal Filet at Langdon's!! Langdon's always consistently impressed me and they easily get 5 Stars !!

The Hungry Detective loves this spot AKA: The Halls of Mt Pleasant!!! The wreck fish was cooked to perfection and the filet was better than Hall's. Tate did a fabulous job pairing the wine. VERDICT: Guilty as sin for doing all right!!!

This a great place to go and have a great meal. The ambiance is a bit romantic. Sitting at a table at the bar you will always get great service. Try the Just Peachy or a dirty martini. You can't go wrong with either choice. The shrimp or pork chop you will be delighted. I do something change my sides option but all is good whichever you choose.

First time here and and it's much smaller than I expected. Definitely need a reservation if you want a table. Started with the duck meatballs with grits and they were ok, good options. I had the lamb chops med rare but they were slightly overcooked as the came out more on the medium side. The flavor was excellent with the potatoes they come with was exquisite. The duck breast was excellent.

Wonderful experience and great service! Eric provided great service along with great recommendations. We were here as our year end holiday dinner. It was an excellent choice. We ordered lots of things to try and were pleased with everything. We ordered a bottle of rosé, beer, and a dessert cocktail to cover all of the bases. Great selection and everyone found something they liked. For appetizers we tried the Gnocchi, the shrimp, Oysters Rockefeller. Then we ordered salads, and the soup of the day which was a broccoli and bacon soup. So good! Then for the meal we ordered the filet and the daily offering of fish which was a grouper if my memory serves me correctly. Oh yeah we had the chocolate cake for dessert. They had me a coffee ice cream and toffee! Yum. This is definitely a place I will return to, but you know the rotation list is long. So it may take a minute for another check in...but it's coming.

Came here for a birthday dinner and although this place displays many awards, the food didn't seem to live up to the expectations. The waitstaff that support the main waiters were very attentive and helpful. There were some hiccups with our dinner such as receiving less oysters than requested, wine glasses being taken even though we'd ordered a bottle for the table, and the steak lacked seasoning. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the sauce ordered (butter base), so I was hoping that the steak was good on its own, but unfortunately it disappointed especially for the price.

Excellent for a nice dinner. I dined in with my wife to celebrate my birthday. I feel like if there's duck on the menu I have to order it? I'm glad I did (please excuse the very poor photo quality, the lighting was very dim). My wife added lobster to her steak which was also delicious. Our server was attentive and timely. Very glad we chose here to end our time in Charleston.

We came in on a Friday around 5:45pm and things were already pretty busy. We grabbed 2 seats at the beautiful bar and were immediately greeted by the staff. They have Happy Hour Monday - Saturday from 4-6 so we just made it. The charcuterie inside the repurposed wine bottle is such a fun idea. The meats and cheeses and nuts and crackers were delicious. The serving was quite large for a happy hour app. We started with glasses of prosecco and a chilled red which were on the happy hour menu as well. Melissa was behind the bar and she is AMAZING! Once happy hour was over and we learned there was live music from 7-9 we pretty much decided we were staying all night. Melissa made sure we never felt rushed. Honestly it felt like sitting in a cafe in Europe where enjoying a bottle of wine with friends is supposed to take time and never be quick. She helped us pick a bottle of sparkling rosé and it was very very good. And the price point was so reasonable. They have an extensive wine list and seriously the prices range from $23-$100+ so there's something for everyone. Once the music started we ordered the Sopressata and hot honey flat bread. It was great to share and the flavor was wonderful. It took a little while to come out of the kitchen, but Melissa made sure to check in and let us know. The space itself is so fun. There's a huge bar and a couch with comfortable chairs and tables along the wall. They also offer a small number of patio seats right outside. It got really crowded and reservations were almost a must. Another side note, the bathrooms are so nice. They're clean and well decorated and stocked with everything you could need from feminine products, to mouthwash and more. This spot is seriously a must visit! And I really appreciate their social media and website being up to date with all the specials and events going on. They have live music several nights per week and they also do classes like paint and sip nights. I cannot wait to go back!

Starting dinner off right with some deliciously fresh raw oysters complete with a traditional "onion" mignonette, and then Chef Eric brought out a little special treat....the base was fresh lump crab meat topped with some chunked watermelon and the most light, fresh, delicious dressing & crunch. WOW. I could eat that all summer. Moving onto the main courses, a perfectly cooked NY strip & root veggies with a love boat of fresh sauces. Chimi, steak butter, and a horseradish crema. As if the steak needed any sauce, but with that trifecta?? I couldn't help myself. Incredible. The other entree, a risotto and shrimp. Incredibly flavorful, complete with crisp English peas. As I write this, I wish I had another plateful. The bartender is the Chef's little lady, & she was a GEM! I cannot remember her name, but she goes to estate sales, and thrifts the beautiful dishes and glassware that they use in the restaurant, which I thought was so neat! These two truly have put their heart and soul into this little place and you can tell. The menu is of a smaller variety, but variety for sure. Chef Eric changes the menu up daily/weekly, so you never know what you may get, and I think that is honestly one of the best parts about this place. The shrimp and lobster pasta dish was fine, nothing more. The Shellmore is in a nice little space at the front of I'on.
